I would have given this book a five, but ended in a cliff hanger. Out of principle I will not buy the next book
The book is very repetitious and although it is somewhat a mystery it is mostly filled with sex between the two main characters. It ends as a cliffhanger so that you buy the next book. I was a bit disappointed that it was a cliffhanger.
It’s like reading porn. If only there was more focus on the story it could have been good. So disgusting.
Loved this story it had everything, but it didn’t end, needed to get the next book slay the dragon. Waiting to get this one.
When she was young Mackenzie was hurt by someone she loved and trusted. So she turned into a control freak that lived by her calendar and did not get close to men. But then she met Tyler and she threw the calendar in the sea. Loved the story, a definite page turner.
So sick of these cliffhanger books; stories not ending until they write and publish the next book. So much violence and sex in this book actually got bored.
Plot was not solved in the first book. Have to read the second for the plot to be resolved.
Boring. There was the hint of a good storyline but I got almost half way thru and it was still on the seduction part. He needs to seduce her to get info on her fathers whereabouts. Seems he was a terrorist and she was forced to flee with her mother when she was a small child and hide out.
I thought this book was ok. Just felt like it could have been so much more. Ok read
Good story but too much explicit sex && too much use of the f word. Sorry, but i’m An old grandma & don’t appreciate all that.
but it was a cliffhanger because u must read book 2 to see the conclusion. didn’t like that
A little slow, dragged on, skipped pages trying to see the mystery instead male character talked more of getting the person he was protecting in bed. Didn’t finish. Have read better by this author
to much graphic sex
It took me three days to read this book. I read about 100 pages or more a night. The author was so vivid with the sex scenes that I wanted to attack my husband. I got so involved with these characters. I thought either Tyler was going to clear her dad or find the bad guys doing this for the cover up. But NO you have to read book two to find out what happens. So disappointed after reading this.
If you take away the repetitive explicit sex scenes that added nothing, it would be considered a short story. So many four-letter words left no emphasis/meaning in any of them. Was disappointed that characters were unrealistic and the story went nowhere. Sorry.
Only part I don’t like is it ends as a cliffhanger.
Mackenzie and Tyler….good romance.
I could have enjoyed this book if it had an ending. I hate books that force you into buying the next book in the series to find out what will happen. Without doing that you are left hanging in the middle of the story.
If I had know that, I would have never purchase this or read it.
Cliff hanger
The book ended in a cliff hanger.
