I am absolutely loving this Fan Girl series! Trish wrote another super read they just keep getting better! Sammie and Ryan’s chemistry was smoking and perfect! OMG chapter 20 was so funny that Lexi is a hoot! Speak of Lexi her story is next and l think it will be the best of this Fan Girl series!
Sammie & Ryan are FANTASTIC! I love her drive & his heart. Sam’s had a crush on Ryan for a while, but she knows he’s not a forever kinda guy. Ryan knows Sam IS a forever kinda girl, so he’s always been respectful of her boundaries. Until … he starts to think she might just be HIS forever kinda girl. He puts in the work to not only show her, but their friends, that he knows she’s different and he’s ready to be different, too.
Their story is sweet & spicy & fabulous! : )
This is the second book in the Fangirl series, and I’m a bit OCD about reading in order, so I will say you should read Falling for the Rookie before reading this. The returning characters and all that jazz just makes Chasing the Ballgirl flow better IMO. Taking us back into the world of the Baltimore Blue Birds, in book one we saw Ryan at his finest when it came to his man whore ways, but he had also proved that he was a good friend to Carson by having his back. When Ryan sets his sights on the ballgirl, Sam, Carson already warns him off, saying that she isn’t his type. Ryan couldn’t disagree more, all he needed was a chance. Sam has had a crush on Ryan for a while now, and knows his reputation, but still can’t seem to help herself. When Ryan gets a chance to prove that he is more than just sex, that he indeed does want something substantial with Sam, will she give him that chance? Can a man whore change his ways?
I really did enjoy this little world that Trish Williford has created. Some really funny moments, some ok naughty bits, and tiny bit of drama that was a bit predictable. Some of the antics that the characters got up to had me giggling out loud. I give this 4 stars and am looking forward to Jace and Lexi’s story.
The second book in the Fangirl series knocked it so far out of the park that the ball is never to be seen again. Chasing the Ballgirl had me captivated and in love with this story. Ryan is a player in more ways than just at baseball, but that is until a certain ball girl catches not only his eye but his heart too. Sammie has had a crush on Ryan for the past three years but can she afford to let her guard down and trust the one person that could crush her. Ryan has always been afraid to risk his heart to a woman however Sammie is different and she makes his world complete and is worth the fight to prove to her that he can be trusted. Their story is action packed, emotional and will have you swooning at the effort Ryan will go to for her. If you like baseball pants, hot and steamy scenes and witty banter then step up to the plate for this amazing read.
