Alice was wrong – Wonderland wasn’t so wonderful after all. Kat never expected to be back in her hometown, but when house sitting turns into a mad rabbit chase, Kat finds herself with a whole new set of problems. A two headed bird with a Game of Thrones obsession, a party full of tea addicts, and a Cheshire Cat who could seduce the pants off her grandma? And if the citizens weren’t bad enough … weren’t bad enough their prince was off his rocker.
This wasn’t your run of the mill Wonderland. This was the Fae world, where rules are rules, and some things are exactly as they seem.

I love Erin Bedford’s books, this one however I had a hard time reading, maybe for personal reasons, but I thought this book dragged a bit in some places and then rushed through others, that said Kat’s adventures in the underground are but a nod to Alice in Wonderland. Dashing UnSeelie prince, son of the Red Queen who is not as evil as the habitants fear, a lost Seelie princess who left her mother, the White Queen, colder and harder and bound to punishing her fellow fae. And the half breed Chess is just as delightful as the original cheshire. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

This story has a little of everything, sweet romance, sexy overbearing and frustrating alpha make and a beautiful woman who has the right heart and spirit. Thoroughly enjoying and entertaining.

I enjoyed this alternative Wonderland story. The story describes Catherine (Cat’s) journey through the Underland after she follows what she thinks is a rabbit, gets lost, and tries to get back home. She meets a cast of colorful characters who are similar in some ways, yet very different, from the Wonderland characters you remember. She experiences many adventures, some twisted, some erotic, as she learns about the land and its inhabitants, and why humans are prohibited. This is a very creative and well-constructed story. I would have preferred a different ending, but that is just me. Looking forward to the next book.

Chasing Rabbits by Erin Bedford is a great story to read. This is book number one in this series and it is a dark and adult fae wonderland. I recommend this story if you like a dark and adult fae wonderland type of story then you will love this one.

Chasing Rabbits is a modern day twisted visit into Wonderland. This author has created an amazing world where I could escape reality for a few hours and what a fun escape it was. Loved all the interesting characters and I can’t wait to read the next book in The Underground series.
This Wonderland isn’t the friendly place you remember, there is danger, surprises and hot guys that make you want to visit even though you could have creatures and magic that does bad things. I’m still on the fence whether I like Alice and only time will tell with the other books in the series, but to be honest its refreshing to have a heroine that might not be your cup of tea!

A highly entertaining, fun, engaging and witty retelling of the wonderland classic in a contemporary and creatively new way…. Loving the fae twist and this action packed and thrilling new journey. Had me hooked from beginning to end and excited for more from this series.
This book started a little slow for me, but I enjoyed it overall. I like the twist on Wonderland and Kat was a fun character. I loved the twist at the end because it was so unexpected. I’m interested in reading Kat’s next adventure.
Down the rabbit hole….
This is considered the first book in the “Underground” series. There is a prequel that was written well after this one was originally but it’s not necessary to have read it first. For those of us who love “adult” retelling of fairy-tales, this one will definitely take you down the rabbit hole. Fair warning…this doesn’t end with a HEA. It is a continuing story needing several books to tell the entire story but it is so worth it. After reading Kat’s story, you will never look at “Wonderland” the same.

I love retelling of fairytale books
Great book! The story just grabs you! I couldn’t put it down!
If you like fairy-tales with Faes you will live this spin-off of the classic tale Alice in Wonderland. The main character is not Alice but Kat, who has to take a wild and daring journey in order to find her way out. I loved all the twist and secrets that come to light in this book and will be reading the rest of this series to see how things go.
This book is one of the best fairytale retailings I have read yet….it has everything you want in it an awesome FMC sexy guys great plot interesting twists and great character development I would definitely recommend this book to anyone
I read this book when it first came out. It was so freaking amazing! A whole new take on Alice in Wonderland. It put the most vivid movie in my head as I read. I wish it would be made into a movie.
Chasing Rabbits by Erin Bedford is a story about a young woman named Kat who follows a little white creature she thought was a rabbit stealing her carrots. She follows it to a strange cave of where she goes through a hole and crosses into the Underground. Instead of following the rules she delves deeper into this new world where there is much more going on than she knows or thinks.
This is a really enjoyable book in my opinion. Kat is an interesting character and there is more to her than meets the eye. This book is so full of unique characters who are all given twists from the original Alice in Wonderland. I have to say I really love it. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I give it two thumbs way up! Highly recommended.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved the main character. I also loved all of the very fun versions of some of our favorite Wonderland beings as well as a whole slew of new and interesting characters. Alice in Wonderland has always been my all time favorite fairy tale story. This is not a retelling! But a whole new story with whole new characters.
Wow I feel bad for the main characters that are so in love. This Alice in Wonderland series makes me mad at Alice. Can’t wait to read the rest.
What a clever take on Alice in Wonderland, with all the mystery and romance, along with Fae and a heroine with a sarcastic personality which practically bursts from the pages! The characters, with their own unique quirks only draw you into this story further.
I have already recommended this book to personal friends and would highly recommend it to anyone reading this review
I received this book for honest review.
Have you ever wondered what would happen if you find yourself down the rabbit hole and in Wonderland? Well, look no further this story is perfect for you. This story follows our heroine Kat, who rather be left alone than to bother with others. One day when she follows a sneaky little carrot stealing thief in rabbit form, and somehow she ends up to different world. A very different world that is strange yet familiar.
She quickly realizes that this world is very much like the Wonderland from her beloved books. However it seems this wonderland has a much more twisted and darker feeling to it than the topsy turvy world from storybooks. Wonderland isn’t so wonderful after all…
As the story continued, I found myself unavailable to put it down until I had finished it completely. Each and every character introduced as the story progresed was extremely well written and I found myself wanting to know more about them. Even craving to crawl into the book and witness the story unfold first hand.
Overall I found this story to be so captivating and I can assure that any fantasy lover will trly enjoy this fast paced read. Especially if you are a fan of stories that have some of the most well written characters I have read and a twisted plot line this is perfect read for you.
