This is the third and final book in this series but a great last book. I enjoyed this book just as much as the previous two. I enjoy how the characters are able to pull me into the story with ease. They took me on a roller coaster ride of various emotions. I enjoy how this book is about a group of young adults that show you what life growing up means to many. I had a hard time putting this book down, it is that fast reading. I suggest reading the whole series to get the full enrichment.
Exquisite is all I can say about Chasing Petalouthes by Effie Kammenou. This is the
third and final book in The Gift Saga. I am so unbelievably sad if this series ending, but we’ve come full circle.
My heart was already breaking the first pages in for this younger generation. I thought how much more heartbreak can they take, there is more heartbreak coming their way. It was such a beautifully written story wrapping all three books together in this book. My emotions were all over the place especially for Evie. The characters of this book were magical and so was their bond with each other The women are so strong especially with their men standing there beside them. The youth of this dynamic group finding their place in the world.
Effie is a painter of words. I can see the vineyards, picture where the family vacations, and the businesses they own. One of my favorite parts of the book are the recipes. My family can always tell when I’m reading an Effie Kammenou book. I could go on and
