Chase Brighton is a dick.
Elle Holloway needs a job that will get her off of her friends couch. When one practically lands in her lap, she is determined to snag it even though the job description is vague. But when she learns that she will be working for the world famous rock star Chase Brighton, her confidence begins to waiver.
Chase might make her heart race, but his attitude sucks. He is … sucks. He is cocky and moody. He even accuses her of wanting her fifteen minutes of fame. But he is also a single dad to the most adorable little girl—and he needs Elle to be his nanny.
Heading out on tour, the last thing Chase needs is to be confined on a bus with a woman as sexy as Elle. It’s enough to drive a man insane as his thoughts are filled with fantasies of her instead of the music he should be focused on. To keep her at arm’s length, he gives Elle a hard time at every opportunity.
As their attraction grows, they struggle to keep it professional, but sometimes fate has plans of its own. When the downsides of Chase’s fame pour a cold dose of reality on them, can they find a way to make things work, or will their differences pull them apart?

Chasing Melody is a single father, rockstar romance written by Erin Cristofoli. This book contains plenty of steam and also some sweet scenes where 3-year-old Ivy steals the show.
Elle is so desperate for a job that she would consider almost anything. A job interview with a friend of a friend turns into a whirlwind bus tour around Canada and the US. She meets a gorgeous and loveable little girl and her moody Rockstar father and joins them on tour as the nanny.
Chase hates to ask for help so when his manager hires Elle to come on tour with them and help look after his daughter Ivy, he is less than impressed. Despite Ivy’s instant love for Elle, he has his reservations about her intentions and tries to keep her at arm’s length.
There is an instant attraction between the two, but neither wants to admit it to the other. Once they give in to it, their relationship takes off, at least until the paparazzi catches wind of the budding romance. Elle is thrust into the world of tabloid gossip and has her doubts about whether she can be a part of that world.
This is one of those books that you could easily sit and read in one go. It is wonderfully written, and the characters are so easy to love, I just wanted to keep reading to find out if their relationship could overcome the challenges thrown at them. I absolutely loved this book and am looking forward to reading more of Erin’s work.
This was such a sweet story! A little bit of heat, and a tiny bit of sad, but not enough to overshadow the love story. Elle, Chase and Ivy make a spectacular book (and family).
This full bodied story is on the shorter side which is perfect for the reading mood I’ve been in. It is not full of descriptive detail or drawn out sex scenes. As a matter of fact, I would classify this as a sweet rocker romance.
It is a little predictable but that doesn’t take away the joy of reading it.

What a fantastic book – easily one of those books that you could pick up and read all the way through to the end and not even realise you had finished it! I absolutely loved it, from start through to finish.
A rockstar romance where superstar Chase is reluctant to admit that he needs help looking after his young daughter while he is on his latest tour. In comes Elle to work as the nanny. What ensues is very much an enemies to lovers romance with the added bonus of the drama that comes with dating a superstar.
I liked the way the story flowed, that there was some conflict and a relationship in turmoil. Elle was her own woman, and I found her strength an attractive character point. I enjoyed the fact that Elle was an average girl from an average family. Chase was more down to earth than one would expect from a rock star. He was a family guy at heart, which was sweet. The addition of his daughter Ivy was a terrific storyline itself, and the fact that she drew the two together was a nice angle.
I thought the story itself move at a slow to moderate pace until the ending, which was my favorite part. It was much more maturely written than the rest of the book. The story was easy to follow, and the characters were likable. It was just a bit superficial to me. I needed more feelings and more tension. However, though it has its sexy moments. it was a sweet story.
When Elle gets hired on as a nanny for Chase, lead singer in a rock band, her first impression is that she shouldn’t be impressed and Chase is a butthead. Chase upon seeing his new nanny, he knows he needs to push her as far away as possible. Having been burned before, Chase is not in the market for that again. For the first couple of weeks everything is running smoothly, Chase is a huge d-bag to Elle, Elle can’t stand him, it all works out, until she starts really looking and seeing just what kind of guy Chase is. Slowly the two start to work together and the subtle shift happens, but does Elle have what it takes to be in the limelight? Or will she put an end to it when things get to be too much?
This was a really tame and sweet Rockstar story. TBH it was almost too sweet; there is a tiny bit of drama, but the rest is just push and pull type. I expected a bit more and so I give this 3.5 stars.
Melody is hired to be a nanny for Ivy, Chase’s daughter. Chase is a rockstar and they go on tour and the three of them are sharing a tour bus. Of course when living in close quarters with a man and a woman, who are attractive, I can imagine the sexual tension can be crazy. And it was. When they finally gave in they couldn’t keep their hands of each other. Besides a few bumps their story was very easy to read with very little drama. Not much angst which I usually enjoy but still a good read.
I wrote this review based on an advance reading copy that the publisher sent me.
Chase needs a nanny for his daughter his band goes on tour, but he never expected Elle. I loved the relationship not only with Chase and Elle but Elle and Ivy. This story was real and dealt with real issues. When you are building a relationship how do you deal with real life outside of your bubble. This is a book that I will read many times over. I loved the story, the characters and how this author tells me a story. I highly recommend this story and author.
A Sweet Rock Romance
If you are looking for a love story that will keep you cheering for the couple and lighten your heart this is the book for you. Chase was on top of his game with his band being at the top of the charts and an upcoming tour. Elle was living on a friend’s couch after some heartbreaking events shaped her life. When the opportunity to interview for an unknown job she jumped at it no matter what especially since her best friend set this all in motion.
Elle had no idea the job was to be a nanny for Chase’s daughter, Ivy. To say the least Chase and Elle did not hit it off at first but as time went on and Chase seen how good Elle was for Ivy things began to change.
This book was such a “feel good” read that it left my heart feeling happy. There was still enough steam and tragedy to round out the book.
This is my first time reading anything from this author, and I really enjoyed reading this book, this was a great read, the characters are well written, I was engaged in the story the whole time. This is the story of Chase, and Elle. Desperate for a Job, Elle takes a job as Chase’s daughter’s Nanny. Chase is grumpy, rude, and mean, but when they are together sparks fly. This is entertaining, emotional, sweet, dramatic, and steamy.
What a beautiful book by Erin Cristofoli.
I love the story about Elle, Chase and Ivy.
Elle took my heart from the start where Chase wasn’t very nice in the beginning but al of that changed when they grew closer. And Ivy what a cutie pie, she loves Elle from te start or Ewlle as she calls her. Elle makes everything easier and fits in with the rest of the band just fine. But what she hates is being in te spotlight of the press and the tabloids and what it does with their relationship you will have to read in the book. This book has it all, great world building, romance, drama/hurt and some excitement when someting really scary happens
This book gets all of the 5 stars from me.
