Ethan took on the responsibility of a baby, Carson, at age 16 because his cheerleader girlfriend didn’t want her. It’s been 8 years and he’s now a cop and needs to rent a room to pay for extras. Honor, a photographer, shows up and changes everything. This book is action packed, lots of suspense and lots of tears. It also has an evil dirty politician and his spoiled entitled son, a stubborn hardheaded man, a woman who loves said hardheaded man, a cute too smart kid, family family and more family and love.
Honor is literally on the run from her past, Ethan – a single dad – is looking for a roommate. Within a couple of weeks they become more than roommates but then her past catches up on her and everything seems to be in jeopardy. Very thrilling story.
Chasing and keeping Honor
Ethan left us at the end of Saving Meadow with a nice little bombshell….he was sixteen and soon to be a single dad Fast forward eight years and him and Carson are doing well but he’s refused to move on with his life and find a woman to share his and Carson’s life with.
That is until Honor graces his door asking to rent a room in his house However, as they adjust to life with each other, both their pasts come crashing in. Will they survive their pasts or will it all come to a crashing halt?
This was a great story, but that ending left me reeling for poor Jason. I’m eager to read the next story but I know it’s going to be a tearjerker
Yowser! Now that is a good book. Chasing Honor by Riley Edwards is a phenomenal romantic suspense. Ms. Edwards has delivered a book that is well-written and stuffed it full of a cast of characters that are lovable and just make this book into a fabulous read. Ethan became a single father at 16 and is now a cop. Honor is a photographer trying to get away from her step-father and step-brother. Ethan and Honor’s story is loaded with drama, humor, sizzle, action and suspense. I enjoyed every page of this book and I’m looking forward to working my way through all of Riley Edwards books. Chasing Honor is book 2 of The Next Generation Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
I read a print copy of this book, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Wow…Loved this one…just like all of the ones I have read by Riley Edwards. Lots of Honor and courage in this one, not just the heroine. Riley always takes us on such an adventure and this book is no different. Steamy romance with a loving family to help when the evilness tries to take it all away.
The Next Generation series is fantastic! I have read all 4 books, out of order and enjoyed them all so much. I would recommend to other readers to read them in order even though each book truly stands alone. Ethan is a young single father. He and his girlfriend got pregnant in high school (which is before this story takes place). His girlfriend didn’t want to get married or raise the baby together so Ethan decides to be a single parent with his parents help rather than give his baby up for adoption. It’s now 8 years later and he is a well respected police officer and his daughter is his world. He decides to rent out a lower level apartment in his home and that brings Honor into his life. She’s a photographer that has recently moved to the area to get a fresh start on her life. These two are so good together from the beginning. Honor is a great person and even though they are instantly attracted to each other they plan to move slowly for the sake of Ethan’s daughter Carson. Well that little girl has one speed and it’s FAST! As you can guess there’s going to be some bumps in their relationship but there’s also someone from Honor’s past that plans to destroy her happiness. This story is action packed, funny, tear jerking, sexy and just plain good! It’s told from dual POV and it will keep you glued to the last page then you’re going to want to run and read the rest of the series like I did!
This a beautiful story about finding yourself and learning how to openly love another.
The writing will draw you in after only a few pages and have you finishing the book in one sitting. There is the perfect amount of angst and romance to keep you hooked.
I loved how the relationship unfolded slowly so we could see these amazing characters grow in ways they never expected.
I would suggest picking up a copy of both books asap you will not be disappointed.

This was a great story about a young man (Ethan) who got his girlfriend (Chrissy) pregnant and Chrissy did not want the baby. Thankfully she didn’t abort, and Ethan spent the next 8 years raising his daughter. Then he met Honor, a woman who was running from her mean stepfather and stepbrother who had plans for her to marry someone she didn’t love at all. Problems arose when the stepfather and stepson came after Honor to try to force the arranged marriage. Chrissy also returned and wanted to see her daughter. Illnesses and accidents also caused problems. Ethan and Honor had to deal with all of these problems if they wanted to reach an HEA. I highly recommend this book to those who like a good romantic suspense story.

I LOVE this story so hard!
Ethan is a super protective single dad with alpha tendencies.
Honor is a sassy and determined woman trying to begin her life on her terms.
When Honors secrets are exposed, and one of Ethans biggest fears surface, will they be strong enough to overcome them or will Ethan be forever Chasing Honor?
