A wolf-shifter and a mutant bunny-shifter? It’s so crazy it might just work.Bethany Bunson, her brothers, and her sister have been prisoners for seven long years. They’ve been experimented on, tested, and changed – all of them can turn into monsters. So when a band of shifter soldiers show up and save them, it’s kind of a mixed blessing, especially when the leader of the shifters claims he’s her … claims he’s her mate.
Yeah… she’s a 23 year old virgin who has never had a real boyfriend. The whole “one guy forever” thing is just something that she’s not ready for, no matter how good he smells. However, Mr. Not-Gonna-Take-No-For-An-Answer doesn’t seem like he’s going to give up that easily.
When the government hired Steele Raymond and his soldiers to recover stolen research from a compound, they had not been expecting to find prisoners there, and he definitely hadn’t been expecting Bethany. The alpha of a motley pack of mixed shifters had given up on ever finding a mate. The kind of independent, strong women he was attracted to always found him too bossy, too alpha, too protective, and preferred to not deal with him at all.
Lucky for him, Bethany is exactly the kind of female he’s always wanted, and isn’t just someone he’s dating and hoping to bond with, she’s his fated mate. Most shifters give up on ever finding their fated mates, but it’s his lucky day… even though she’s clearly going to require some convincing. But he’s got the biological urge of the mate bond and some serious tenacity on his side. Bethany’s going to be his – and he’s going to protect her and her family from the evil bastards who have been keeping them prisoner and experimenting on them.
Chasing His Bunny is a full-length novel, approximately 43k words long, with a HEA, and has an alpha male and a seriously sassy female with some very steamy scenes!

3 out of 5 stars! After Bethany and her siblings were rescued, her life has changed forever … but is it all for the better?
I had expected this novel to be like either of Eve Langlais’ novels “Bunny and the Bear” or “Bunny Misfit” because both of those novels have the same style of plot going as “Chasing His Bunny” does. However, even though all three novels have strong bunny-ish alpha heroines it does not mean that “Chasing His Bunny” was 100% identical to the others. And while that was not a bad thing because this novel “brought to the table” its own “style of shifter,” it was written in a third person perspective that I am not a huge fan of typically. Therefore, I can’t say this was my fave “bunny shifter” to read about yet I did enjoy it for what it’s worth.
This fast-paced adventure lets us get to know Bethany quite well as we fall for Steele along with her. I liked Steele and Bethany together. I especially enjoyed that even though Bethany pushes Steele away for most of this novel, it made Steele even more intrigued with her instead of it turning into an argument. Also, because of how fast paced this novel is, it is held over a very short period of time and in turn you see Steele winning over Bethany quite quickly. In addition, it also helped that their steamy scenes were quite frequent too, while being completely consensual.
I do recommend this novel to anyone wanting a steamy paranormal shifter romance.

Life is often unexpected
This is a book you are going to love. It’s full of excitement, action and adventure, family, love and some bear size turtle bunnies that are going to make your head spin. I love how the author used Monty Python as a humorous counterpoint to the seriousness of what happened to the Bunson family. Bethany might be the first one to find her HEA, but I hope she won’t be the last. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
Brady, Brock, Brice, Bethany and Bailey had all been kidnapped seven years ago. Kept in a laboratory and experimented on. Boys separated from the girls except for a guarded one hour visit per day. At first the boys had agreed to the experiments if they left the girls alone. That worked well for awhile until the day came when there was nothing more that could be accomplished with the boys. That’s when Bethany volunteered if they left Bailey, the baby of the family, alone. Yeah, the rescue squad was a day late and a dollar short on that account. One day, only one day before, the doctors had tranqed Bethany and injected Bailey. Now she was going to change into some type of shifter animal like the rest of them. She just didn’t know what kind yet. Before they could even leave the facilities after being rescued, the Alpha of the group looked at Bethany and growled ‘MINE’, causing an inquisition from the brothers.
Golden Angel has a unique ability of giving her characters such quirky, relatable personalities it’s easy to fall in love them. This is a completely different shifter story than I’ve ever read with made the entire scenerio brand new. The story flows with these sexy, quirky shifters while the plot is an under current throughout. I just loved the interaction between Bethany and Steele. I can’t imagine anyone who enjoys a good PNR not wanting to reading this book and following the series.
I came into this series with Chasing His Puma & really loved it so now I’m going back to read what I’ve missed. This, like the other I’ve read, is just a please to read. The characters are fun to read, the situations aren’t the standard shifter storylines, the story moves at a great pace & it’s well written (there are a few grammatical/editing errors). Overall, this feels ‘lighter’ than other shifter stories & fun in a way that I really enjoyed.
Lol, I love it when authors take a troupe and turn it on its head. The characters are lovable and unique and the story is fun and enjoyable from start to finish. If you’re looking for a unique fun read snatch this book up.
Chasing His Bunny is quirky, funny, and a bit different on how the whole shifter thing works. Really am looking forward to seeing how the rest of the series goes because this book kept my attention throughout. Seems bunnies aren’t just cute and cuddly. The attraction is instantaneous and offers the reader really enjoyable characters.
Wow! Golden Angel takes shifters to a whole new level and I love it! Steele & Bethany’s story is full of humor, steam, action and intrigue. I especially loved all of Bethany’s “names” for Steele, like Mr. Sexy-And-You-Know-It and the many many more throughout the story. Cannot wait to see what happens with the other Bunson siblings!
While the ‘experimented-on-shifters-freed-from-a-lab’ (pun intended) theme, has been done before, this story adds a new slant to the genre.
There’s a multitude of shifters here. From Squirrels to Lions and everything in between.
I’ll definitely be staying with this series to find out which combinations the author will conjure up next.
This is a fun story with growly Alpha males and sassy Alpha females, written in a way that makes you giggle all along the book.
A new author to me, and a story that I am in love with! A new author to me, but I will be reading the rest of the books in this series for sure! I loved so many things about this book that I can’t even begin to break it down. The story is interesting, the plot is tight, and the characters are funny and strong, and the dialogue is funny. It was exciting because of the whole, taking down a mad man thing. It was relateable because the siblings looked out for each other; It was surprising because you didn’t really know until like three quarters through, what was different about the siblings and when you find out, well, I was shocked and amused. The fact that Bethany wanted to have a man feast while Steele wanted to keep her to himself was funny. I can’t wait to read the next story in this line!
This is a well written story with great characters. Hybrid shifters here and that makes this one different. I enjoyed this one. This is the first book by Golden Angel but it will not be the last. I would encourage you to get this one if you want something a little different. There is some suspense but I don’t do spoilers so get the book I really think you will like it.
This was a fun light read that got my mood flying. I would gladly set this on the shelf next to Eve Langlais’ Furry Coalition and F.U.C. universe books and Dana Marie Bell’s Halle Shifters books. What a different take on “monster bunnies”!
Chasing His Bunny is he first book in the Big Bad Bunnies series. Bethany and her siblings have been prisoners and experimented on for years. Within minutes of being set free, she now has a yummy, alpha wolf shifter claiming that she’s his mate. Steele knows immediately that Bethany is his, but will he be able to convince her and keep her safe before the company tracks the siblings down again?
This book is so fun! While there’s some serious sides to the story, Bethany and Steele are funny, engaging, completely had me coming back to read more, full of passion, and I loved how well they fit together! Bethany is an alpha female, won’t take no for an answer, is trying her hardest to enjoy her freedom, is a protector, and has to come to terms with the strangeness of her bunny. Steele is an unintentional alpha of his town, used to getting his own way, never really wanted a mate, and I loved his interactions with his own wolf. This book is lighthearted with some little twists and turns here and there, and while I’ve read and listened to this book before, I was still captivated by this couple, their relationship, and the creativity from Ms. Angel. I really enjoyed reading this story and can’t wait to read more in this series!
I really liked this –
Chasing His Bunny was a paranormal romance that did a great job of blending a bit of suspense (There are some really really evil bad guys ) with a whole bushel of humor and topping it off with the sweetest of romance
I will be honest when I first started reading this I was like WTH? but after a chapter or two – well I just fell in love with this cast of misfits
There is a strong story line here that will easily carry the series keeping the reader engaged now and during future releases
The characters are unique (I snorted when I typed that – come on wait till you find out what kind of shifter she is!) You can’t help but be enamored with them
I will be moving on to the next in this series
