Chasing Him is a full-length standalone novel that’s filled with angst, sexual tension, and plenty of forbidden temptation! Let Kennedy Fox take you to the South for a hot, captivating adventure that’ll surely leave your Kindles on fire!John Bishop isn’t your typical single dad.Reserved, impatient, and utterly clueless.Running the family’s bed and breakfast has many perks. Working long hours, … has many perks. Working long hours, picking up after the guests, and hearing couples going at it all night long aren’t any of them. Hooking up with girls who come to the ranch for horseback riding lessons? Best perk of them all.
That is until a baby shows up at his doorstep with a note claiming it’s his. Growing up on a ranch was anything but easy, but raising a newborn is proving to be the hardest task he’ll ever tackle. Leaving the bachelor life behind, his only priority is to hire a nanny who can teach him a thing or two about parenting—except he doesn’t anticipate her being gorgeous and quirky with an unhealthy football obsession.
Mila Carmichael has many talents—making balloon animals, creating origami art, and remaining in the friend zone. Often seen as one of the guys, she’s struck out more times than a rookie baseball player.
Seeking a new adventure, she flies to Texas to visit family and is offered a position she can’t refuse. Helping out a new dad should come easy to her, considering her past experience, but what she doesn’t anticipate is him being an attractive Southern temptation.
But that’s only the beginning.
While growing close to his family and falling madly in love with the baby girl who’s stealing their hearts, things are bound to get complicated. Everyone knows not to mix business with pleasure. That means no late movie nights, no stolen glances, and definitely no kissing behind closed doors. Too bad the universe has other plans—one that’ll threaten taking away the main thing that binds them together.
A singe dad/nanny romance—This is book 3 in the Bishop Brothers series. Each book features a different brother and can be read as a complete standalone. HEA guaranteed!
Not suitable for readers under 18 due to adult language and sexual content.

I absolutely lovvvvef it!! I’m always so sad when it ends!
This will make you feel a lot of emotions.A good read!
All of Kenndy Fox books are amazing You can not go wrong with any of them
Absolutely love this book and series. I want my own Bishop boy!
I am in love!
Absolutely loved this book. Probably my favorite Fox book. The story itself was just so good and interesting. Loved the characters! Specially little Maize. They were perfect together. And of course having the whole family around makes it even better. Loved!
Chasing Him is the third Bishop Brothers novel, focusing on John and by my favorite in the series! John is hardworking but when he gets the surprise of his life in the form of a little girl on his doorstep his entire life is turned upside down. Mila has been searching for something, and when she got heartbreaking news from her best friend she heads to her Grans to nurse her broken heart.
This one decision places these two on a collision course that can lead to nothing less than a happy ending for both of them, although they do have quite a few bumps in the road along the way.
I loved that there was a slow build-up to this relationship between Mila and John. Although they both knew they had feelings for each other, they fought them. However, once they let their feelings be known to each other it was like a blazing inferno was set loose between the two of them. I also love the introduction of Maize, she stole the show in this book and also made it easy to incorporate all the remaining family members into this story as well.
I can’t wait to see what Kennedy Fox has in store for us with Jackson’s book!
Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author. This is the third in this series, please please please read the first two books first.. When we read the part of the woman in the ER (Bailey) who was going to die you knew that it couldn’t have ended there and boy were we right..What an emotional book. It was fitting that it would be John who would be the daddy since he had such a loving demeanor and I couldn’t have imagined a more loving father to pick up the reigns like he did. I loved John and was happy that he was to change his life for his daughter and to give her the love that she would need. His love interest was also perfect for him and I was happy to see their love grow in a timely manner..Can’t wait for Jacksons..
Wow the emotions from this book!!
Kennedy Fox has out done themselves with this book. Chasing Him is the third book in the Bishop brothers series but can be read as a standalone however, I would highly recommend you read them in order to get the full effect of the Bishops. The story line in this book was very well written and defiantly showed how a the struggles can be overcome.
I did not want to put it down because I had to find out what happened between John Bishop and Mila Carmichael. The emotions (joy, sadness, love, and shock) that this book brought out were very strong and at multiple points had me in tears because I could not believe that those aspects happened. However, in the end I loved every minute of his book!!
John Bishop just found out he is a father and now has to do it all one on his own. Yes, he has the help of his family but he is determined to give his little girl everything she needs and deserves. However, Mama Bishop always knows whats best and hires him a nanny. How will he react to his nanny being a hot, young lady instead of the older lady he was thinking of? Will John be able to get over the fears he of falling for someone now that he has his daughter?
Mila Carmichael needed to get away after the her best friend the guy she has been crushing on for last couple years throws her a curve ball. So, she goes to her Gigi’s house in Texas. While there she is hired as a nanny by Mama Bishop. What will happen when she starts to fall for the little girl she is caring for? Oh and not to mention her daddy as well. Will she be able to get out of the friends zone that she seems to always find herself in?
Absolutely love the Bishop family. These brothers are hot alpha perfection. Can’t wait for more of this series. Love John and Mila. Can’t wait to read more about their HEA in Jackson’s book
Wow. This is my favorite book of this series. I absolutely loved John and Mila’s story. John is my favorite brother and I’m so glad he got his happy ever after. Now, I cannot wait to read Jackson’s story. These ladies have written another great book. Fantastic.
Chasing Him, the third book in the Bishop Brothers series is John’s book. Such a tragic beginning but HEA to finish up with.
I couldn’t put this book down, it was full of twists and turns but still had the humor of the other books.
Thank you for such a great book Kennedy Fox!!!

This book is based on the single father, beautiful baby girl and nanny trope. It is the most predictable plot ever, but if you place it in the talented hands of these two authors, it turns into a beautiful small town romance.
This book stars the wonderful Bishop family in Eldorado town. Evan and Alex are already taken with babies or pregnancies. River and Emily are now part of the family and we get great scenes of the fun family times. Mama Bishop is still the force behind the family and she pursues getting all her sons married and giving her grand-babies. The only single men left are the twins, John and Jackson Bishop.
One day John gets the surprise of his life: a baby is left on his front porch with a letter from an ex-girlfriend, Bailey. Bailey died and left him their baby girl. Needless to say, he’s at a total loss taking care of his daughter but he forges on, determined to face his responsibility. He’s in charge of the family’s B&B, so he’s burning the candle both ways and it’s killing him. Mama Bishop to the rescue, she finds him a nanny!
Mila came from Georgia to Eldorado to spend the summer with her grandparents, before starting her first year as a first-grade teacher. She’s waiting for job offers and needs the distraction of being away from home. She’s also recovering from seeing the guy she liked get engaged to another girl. She’s offered the job to be nanny to a baby girl, and given she loves babies, she takes the job.
So far, very predictable. Mila and John are very attracted but John is the serious and responsible one of the twins, and he insists that Mila is his employee so she’s off-limits, to him and to Jackson. As the days go by, and Mila and baby Maize get attached, he can’t help but admire Mila’s treatment of his daughter. She’s also beautiful and very enticing. Mila is also attracted to John, not just because of his looks but his demeanor. Inside the strict man is a mushy and tender-hearted guy. And then the book goes into a very unpredictable path, which is great and intriguing.
What gives this book a different flavor are the dynamics of the family, his and hers, and the interconnections. Love for family and children permeate in this book and is very uplifting. Jackson adds a lot of spice to the story with his shenanigans and the darkness inside that he alleviates with drinking and acting assholish. He loves Kiera, who becomes a great friend to Mila, but refuses to act on it. Kiera loves him back, but got tired of waiting for Jackson, so she starts seeing Trent, the veterinarian. This is like a side-plot, and you just know that Jackson’s book is going to be explosive.
With great writing and great pace, we are treated again to a warm-hearted, feel-good book. I can’t wait to read Jackson’s book and see how the authors can make him sound good, after so much whoring and grandstanding in the previous books.

A great combination of sweet, charming and humor in the next continuation of Kennedy Fox’s Bishop Brothers series. I am hooked with these Bishop men and I am ecstatic to say we have finally wrangled one of the twins in Chasing Him and I couldn’t be happier.
John Bishop has just been given a bundle of news that spins his world upside down. Needing help ASAP, mama Bishop steps in and elicits the help of a church friend to send in reinforcements or is it matchmaking? Mila Carmicheal “always the bridesmaid, never the bride” is down on her luck with romance. Getting away to Texas for a break is just what she needs, but when her Gigi plants her with a summer job of helping a single dad with a dilemma her heart begins to melt for the little family who implants in her heart. Will she be able to leave to move onward, or will she be able to call Texas her home?
The connection between John and Mila is pure sweetness. I loved the chemistry, the feels of how the authors combined the emotions with Maize and the day to day life including her in the mix. Let’s not forget the Bishop family itself, with the humor of Jackson and the brothers plus the motherly interactions of Mrs. Bishop. You will not be able to put this book down for a second and don’t be surprised if you catch yourself laughing out loud every once in awhile.
My heart is dead set on getting my hands on Jackson and Kiera’s story next in Keeping Him as we have seen their angst, battles of emotions throughout all the other novels.
4.5 Stars!!!
{I received this as an ARC in exchange for an Honest review}
This is such a cute and sexy and fun read!!! God I Love these Bishop boys!! Being in this world is one of my favorite places to be!! John Bishop and Mila Carmichael are so freaking sweet!!! I love this story so much!! This whole book was so fantastic!! Oh my God I just love them!!
“It shouldn’t feel like home being with him like this, but it does.”
John gives me ALL THE FEELS!!! It is so easy to fall in love with this unbelievably sexy dad!! They way he is with Maize just melts my heart!! Serious heart eyes on every page!! The way he steps up to take care of Maize is so amazing!! He wants to give her the best life. When Mila shows up in his house saying she is his new Nanny he realizes that she is just what they both need. Mila fits into their lives so perfectly. It’s like she was always meant to be there. They share a special connection. John tries to deny his feelings for Mila. He knows it’s wrong to want his nanny but seeing how good she is with Maize and how perfectly she fits into his life its hard to keep denying his true feelings for her.
“Spending every day around him, in his space, with his daughter feels like we’re playing house, and even though it’s only been a couple of weeks since I’ve been here, it feels so much longer.”
Mila is such a great person/character. I Love her so much!! She has such a pure soul. All she wants out of life is to be an elementary school teacher and for her best friend to love her the same way she loves him. When her bff tells her he I getting married she knows that she has to move on. She ends up going to Texas to spend time with her grandparents. When she is offered the job to be a nanny to an adorable little girl and to help out a new single dad she decides to take it. She never expected to fall for this beautiful little girl and her sexy father. The more time she is their with John and Maize the more she can feel herself falling. She knows that John thinks she is forbidden and that just makes her want him even more! She is falling for everything John has to offer. She loves Maize so much and she is falling in love with John too.
“When our eyes meet, it’s as if nothing else matters but the three of us.”
God this book is so wonderful!! I love it so freaking much!!! John is such an amazing father!!! Mila is so wonderful you can feel how much she truly cares/loves them. I loved reading this book! It is so stinking cute!!! John and Mila take a while to get together but when they do it is sexy as hell. Man they are such a sexy and freaking adorable couple!! I Love this book and I highly recommend it!!!
“When our eyes meet, I feel as if I’m falling, and I hope I never find the ground.”
These Bishop Brothers just keep getting better and it’s no wonder why they’ve completely captivated me whole body, heart and soul.
Chasing Him is the third installment in the Bishop Brothers series and we finally get to see what the twins are up to. I absolutely loved and adored both Alex and Evan’s story, but I think that John may have very well stolen my heart completely. I mean who doesn’t love a sexy single father who will do anything to protect his little girl. He may never have expected to be raising a child on his own, but he’s up for the challenge and he’s ready to become the man his daughter needs him to be.
Mila Carmichael just graduated from college with a degree in education and is looking to spend some quality time with her grandparents before she starts teaching. She never expected to stay in Texas long, but with a meddling grandmother in the mix her plans go in an unexpected turn. She’s the baby whisper and John’s hot new nanny.
Neither one of them are prepared for what’s about to happen and things are certainly going to get interesting…
“In a blink, my life changed, and though it was scary at first, I wouldn’t want it to be any other way.”
Oh John Bishop, you beautiful man!! Chasing Him is the the third of the Bishop brothers books and my favourite so far. That is really hard for me to say, as i have loved each of these reads. There was just something that pulled on my heartstrings with John and i don’t just think it was the single father storyline either.
This book gave me ALL THE FEELS!! John and Mila were perfect for each other. They made me smile throughout the entire book. For two people to come together in the circumstances that they did. Shows that their stars alined and fate was definitely at play.
The build up with the push and pull in their relationship, only added so much more to their chemistry. But it was their love for Maize, for family what binds them together, to make a beautiful family.
I never like to give to much a way when it comes to a Kennedy Fox reads. As there is always so much to their storylines that i could go on and on. So read, enjoy and hopefully like me you’ll laugh, swoon and fall in love. But be left desperate for Jackson’s book because come on it’s Jackson!!!!
“No, I’m SUPERMAN!” Jackson looks at the girls walking past us and flexes as they giggle. They’re both dressed like vampires and show their pointed teeth when they smile back at him. “I have something you can suck,” he tells one of them, winking. Mama comes out of nowhere and slaps him upside the head, which causes me to burst into laughter.
John Bishop piqued my interest from the very start of this series. Serious, quiet, and responsible, (especially compared to his twin Jackson) I found myself wanting to know more and more about him book by book. It’s always the quiet mysterious ones that draw me in. Well… I can definitely say I was not disappointed. I completely fell for John. I’m talking ovaries exploding love for him. He is so swoony. It’s no secret that single dad romances are my jam. I couldn’t have been any more excited to have another one from this author duo. With all the sweet tender moments, the fun family feels and the heat and passion, Kennedy Fox just wowed with this one. I loved this book!!
At the end of Needing Him *blows out breath* we were in for a shock when we learned John had fathered a sweet baby girl and had no idea. Chasing Him picks up where the previous book left off with John struggling to raise Maize on his own. When his family suggests he needs help, he agreed to hire a nanny.
Mila is waiting to hear word from a potential employer at an elementary school. So in the meantime she decides to visit her grandparents and spend the summer in Texas. While there she gets hired as John’s nanny. There’s an instant attraction. However, with her being so amazing with Maize, she’s immediately marked off limits.
The fab duo of Kennedy Fox did an outstanding job building the tension. The push and pull between John and Mila had my feelings go all over the map. There were moments were John’s indecisiveness frustrated the heck out of me. Ultimately, it was the drama and undeniable chemistry that had me reaching for more. I really enjoyed these characters.
Chasing him is the longest in the series but the authors did a great job of not making it feel like it was dragging on. It flows so easily. If you are looking for a sweet and sexy single dad, forbidden romance with wonderful character chemistry, small town charm, and heart then I highly highly recommend Chasing Him.
Here’s what I have to say about Chasing Him …
I shed a few tears but rejoiced even more!
I may have swooned a few times … okay quite a bit!
I definitely laugh quite a few times!
It got a little hot at times and my heart might have kicked up a notch or three 😉
Most of all I had FUN reading John and Mila’s journey! These ladies have yet to disappoint with both series that I have read by them and the Bishop brothers just keep getting swoonier and swoonier! I’m gonna have to buy extra batteries for Jackson. I feel it! 😉

o this was my first book by Kennedy Fox, even though this is book 3 in the Bishop Brothers series, I didn’t feel I missed out by not reading the other two first, but after reading this absolute corker of a story I will be going back to read the other two, while waiting impatiently for Jackson’s story!
John runs the family B&B on their ranch spending all his time there and helping out his big family, that is until a baby shows up on his doorstep with a letter attached to her claiming to be John’s daughter. He is utterly floored by this but being the kind of man he is steps right up along with his family to do the best he can for this new arrival into the family. But being a single dad out of the blue with no experience and trying to run the B&B as well is proving to be overwhelming for him.
Mila hails from Georgia and has always wanted to be a teacher at the local school she grew up at, but when her best friend and secret crush tells her he has a baby on the way she decides to get away for a bit and visit her Grandparents in Texas for a while. Whilst there Mama Bishop learns that Mila is in town and sees how good she is with children – turns out she is known as the ‘baby whisperer’ back in Georgia having helped raise her siblings all her life – and Mama sets about trying to get her together with John for a nanny position for his new daughter Maize on a trial basis.
What neither of them bargained for was the instant attraction they had for each other!!
I absolutely loved this, the single dad and secret baby and how hard he was trying – I was a gonner!! The feels and the emotions whilst reading this!! Its a slow burn romance between John and Mila with the forbidden aspect and them fighting against their attraction, but when they eventually get together it is HOT HOT HOT!!! I loved the whole Bishop family relationship they have going on, they all pull together and are always there for each other, even though Jackson seems to be the black sheep of the family and is continually playing up, for twins Jackson and John are polar opposites, and when Jackson tries to hit on Mila John’s alpha side comes out and he threatens to punch his lights out lol!!
Mama Rose is a massive character in this book, I love how loving she is towards her family, but they don’t dare step out of line and get on the wrong side of her!! She organizes them all and meddles in their life trying to get them settled with more grandbabies on the way – she is the heart of the Bishop household and I love her for that!!
A brilliant read, highly emotional at times, full of swoon worthy dad and daughter moments, sweetness and laughter, with some angst and drama along with heartache and sadness – It really did bring out a full range of emotions!! This book really did exceed all my expectations and I can’t wait to learn more about Jackson in the next book, but equally am definitely going back reading the first two books – I love the Bishop family!! I can certainly see more Kennedy Fox books appearing on my Kindle from now on – fabulous 5 stars, I can’t recommend this enough!!
