Blaise is a city boy through and through but when he is sent to the country to work with a few clients he is thrown in right at the deep end!
Dusty dislikes Blaise as soon as she meets, I doesn’t help that he has just run over one of her sheep!
Can they get over their first meeting? How will it ever work between them when she is so country and he a city boy to a tee!
I really enjoyed this story! I loved that as a country girl from Texas I felt familiar with this Aussie country romance. It’s more hate at first sight but things quickly change for our couple. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and plan to read more by this author!
City living accountant Blaise takes an assignment in the country in hopes of becoming a junior partner at his firm. On the way to the county he accidentally hits a sheep. Said sheep belongs to country woman, Dusty. Dusty has been managing the family farm since her father passed away a few years ago. Blaise wants to make amends for the accident. Independent Dusty wants him out of her farm. These two characters are real and so very likable. This book had humor and Heart. I loved strong Dusty and her dedication. Blaise impressed me with his willingness and perseverance.
Great book with great characters. Life on a farm is not easy and the author has you feeling like you were with the characters in the country.
This is very different to her other books Ive read. But I really liked it. County girl Blaise meets City boy Dusty and when they come together its like an explosion. They are night and day but personalities blend well. She has a very sassy mouth that can be a bit much but I enjoy a women who can stand up for herself. This is a great story .
When Dusty meets Blaise. Its her yelling at him to stop but he doesn’t hear her. He freaks out and doesn’t know what to do when he sees a huge group of sheep in the road. Blaise was sent to meet clients in the rural country. These 2 together are so funny. They are so opposite from each other. I love how Dusty speaks her mind and just takes charge. It was a quick read for me because it sucks you in.
I truly enjoyed reading this book. The city boy and the country girl falling in love always makes for an interesting read. Definitely recommend.
Wonderfully sweet! As short as the book was I really enjoyed Dusty and Blaise’s story.
Chasing Dust Clouds is a cute, little romance that is well written and has very likable characters (except Aaron) all the way around. The story is fast paced and easy to read. You also get a sweet and happy ending that shows you that opposites really do attract!!
Short, sweet and simple. I love big city meets small town books. This book was a very light read but easy to get into and enjoy. I loved ready every minute of this book and would definitely recommend it. Great book.
Dusty is an opinionated bossy stubborn sheep farmer. Blaise is a nice city boy accountant sent too her country to work on costumer’s books and happens to accidentally run into one of Dusty’s sheep causing it’s death. E is smitten and sorry for what he did but Dusty is fit to be tied. Blaise is determined to get a date with the ornery farmer. This one has an abusive ex boyfriend, a nosy mother, a nosy motel keeper, small town grapevine, an angry boss, a determined accountant and a strong woman.
A country girl and a city boy. Dusty and Blaise are an enemies to lovers slow burn romance. I love the commitment that Blaise puts into making everything up to Dusty and that Dusty stands up for herself and what she believes in. A great new direction for Lilliana Rose!!
CHASING DUST CLOUDS by Lilliana Rose was an Unexpected journey for the characters mindsets of Epic proportions. Dusty and Blaise’s storytelling is So much Suspenseful Surprises and Entertaining at the same time. Opposite Attracts in this Beautifully Written book and never a Dull moment page after page. Definitely A Must Read Book!!
This was the perfect summer read. Lighthearted story with great characters.
Blaise is an accountant – sent to the country to do books, and he is hoping this will lead to his Jr partnership. Dusty runs the family farm since her father passed away. She is moving her sheep so that they can be shorn, when Blaise comes by and runs over one of her Ewes. There is an instant attraction/awareness between Dusty and Blaise, but Dusty tries to just get him to move on, but she can’t stop thinking of the city boy. Blaise gets lost and ends up at Dusty’s farm to ask for directions. He stays to help her out on shearing day to try to make up for the loss of her sheep (but really he just wants to be close to Dusty). He tries so very hard, but he just doesn’t know what to do with the country life, but he is willing to learn to be able to spend more time with Dusty. So will the city boy be willing to move to the country? That is a question Dusty posed to Blaise one afternoon. The characters and story are so great, that you feel as if you are doing through everything with them. Country gir/city boy, opposites attract. Dusty is a very strong woman, as she has to be in order to run her farm.
