No one said being a Princess was easy, and for Aledwen, the Fae Princess of Spring, it’s even harder. With the Birth of Spring approaching, and her time running out, she has to find a way of unlocking her magic and performing the ceremony. Luckily for her, she has her mates to support her. Even if her shifters seem like nothing but trouble, and her elf’s sense of duty could keep them apart. Can … apart.
Can Aledwen become the Queen she was always meant to be? Or will she be stuck as a magicless Princess.
Chasing Aledwen is a Reverse Harem set in the Paranormal Council Universe.

Laura Greenwood’s writing never disappoints. This story flows and is unique. Love the characters, the concept, the twists and romances. I cannot wait to read more of the spring queen.
Chasing Aledwen by Laura Greenwood is a paranormal reverse harem that I listened to on audio narrated by Hollie Whitmore.
I just love Laura’s books! They always leave me begging for more. I absolutely loved Aledwen and her four mates.
Hollie did a great job on the narration. I loved her voice and can’t wait to listen to more of her projects in the future.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves paranormal romances or reverse harem novels.

I really enjoyed the way that Hollie Whitmore brought these characters and this story to life. I love it when I forget about the narration and just get pulled into the story which is what happened here.
Having heard Aledwen mentioned in another book in this series I was really curious to hear her story. I was not disappointed, I really enjoyed this book. The world is slowly coming together over all the different books and I can see how they all intertwine. I enjoyed watching the harem come together and how the relationships built throughout the book. It was cleverly done.
Another amazing RH romance by Laura.
Premise was interesting, storyline flowed, conclusion was a little underwhelming, but they can’t all be a perfect HEA.
Hollie Whitmore did a nice job in narrating.

There were some good steamy scenes. The mystery came into play more towards the end but was an interesting twist. She was a strong character and had some yummy mates. The ending where they visit the parents seems pointless to the story except to leave me with a bad taste. Overall the story was intriguing and liked the RH aspect. The narrator did a good job bringing the story to life.

I haven’t read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had a very hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned!

I really enjoy Laura Greenwood’s writing. The premise for this story is creative, and the characters are fun and intriguing. However, there wasn’t enough background about the world, characters, and politics for a standalone story or the first book in a series. I see from other reviews that this book is related to others in an existing universe. Perhaps if I had read some of those previous books I would have had the information I felt was lacking here. This is a good read, but I didn’t feel like I learned as much as I wanted to about the world and characters.

Aledwen, the Fae Princess of Spring, was being instructed on her expected performance at a particular ceremony known as the Birth of Spring. A Princess would take over from her mother at the age of 18. But for Aledwen, what should have been joyful was frustrating because her magic didn’t work right, if it even worked at all! At the part where she had to remove her robe, she had no magic to cover herself from the Court’s gaze. A man’s voice startled her and Drey introduced himself. She told him her name was Dwen. He flirted with her and she experienced strange feelings she had never had before. He stepped close and his Earthy smell made her think he was a shifter of some kind; but she didn’t really know. She became uncomfortable and walked away from him… for now.
Her mother pointed out the elvish Ambassador from the House Paige to Aledwen. It was obvious her mother did not like him, and he seemed to feel the same. Leaving to dress for the ball, Aledwen curtsied to her mother and then to him and saw his surprise. She heard murmurs among the Court as well. She went to her room to read, but she kept picturing Drey as the hero, or sometimes the Ambassador. Then her lady’s maid Johanna helped her dress for the ball.
Drey was there and she asked him to dance. He was a wonderful dancer and she was enjoying herself. When she told him she rarely attended the balls and had never danced in the human realm, he asked if she wanted to. To her surprise, she said yes, and he told her he would come to her balcony in an hour! Then he left.
Dwen has actually met one of her mates, even if she didn’t know what those feelings meant for sure — Drey, it turns out, is a dragon shifter. She will later meet twin fox shifters, Brandon and Cyrprus Reed. They make her feel like Drey does. She also feels something for the elven Ambassador she met before the Ball, but she isn’t sure he feels the same toward her. Regardless, she will need help with what she has to do, confronting her mother and the Court. Will they help her? Can she find her magic and prove herself?
I enjoyed the book, and I loved Drey’s humor and spunky attitude. He was so much fun! The story line was good, and the characters were likable. There is much more to this story to be read. You will definitely want to grab your copy and find out how Dwen succeeds – or fails?
Aledwin is the heir apparent to the Fae Spring Queen, but strangely her mother had kept her away from anyone for most of her life. Now, at 18, she has to perform a magic ritual – the Birth of Spring and starts attending court functions. Strangely she lacks magic, finds her mother’s behaviour strange and finds her fated mates within a few days.
A well-written story, embedded in the alternate universe that we already know of from the Paranormal Council of 7 and/or Shifter Council and numerous other stories it fits right in and re-introduces us to some characters we may have met in other books.
Entertaining and fun – but the title is a slight mis-nomer. Aledwin is not chased – she is a more than willing participant.

Chasing Aledwen is a beautiful story about Aledwen a Fae Princess of Spring who has no magic. I like the way the author brought Dwen and her mates together and how they helped her find out what was wrong with her magic. I loved all of the characters in this amazing world full of magic, mystery, shifters, elves, and a princess on a journey to find her magic.
An excellent beginning to Aledwen’s story. She meets and bonds with her four mates, while searching for answers as to why she has no magic. A very entertaining read!

Aledwen may be the Princess of the Spring Fae court, but she has been raised largely in seclusion, and with almost no magic of her own.
Untangling the mysteries of how that come about, as well as unravelling and sealing her mate bond with each of her men is an exciting and steamy adventure.
True love might win out – if they can survive !

Loved it!
Really enjoyed reading and then listening to Chasing Aledwen by Laura Greenwood! I thought Hollie was perfect as Aledwen (she wasn’t my favorite for the male voices and distinguishing them, but definitely still did a good job). I thought Hollie did a great job with the inflections and inner monologue for Aledwen, really conveyed the feelings and relationships Laura masterfully created.
For the storyline, really liked the world Laura created and the way Aledwen gets her harem (individually becoming her mates). I like the mix of creatures/beings in her harem, especially if she gains any of their powers/can start to shift soon haha. I really loved the surly dragon, he is also a big softie haha. Cyrus also was adorable and the quiet ones are always the ones that surprise you the most hahaha. Can’t wait for more and to see where the stories go after the big reveals in Book 1. Definitely pick this series and audiobook up
This is the second book in the Fated Season series and is focused on Aledwen. We find out that Aledwen must follow through with tradition of taking over the ceremonial Birth of spring from her mother but there is one large problem, she has no magic. Once I picked up this book I was unable to put it down as I was pulled into the story rooting for Aledwen to find the way to help her people the way she has always wanted to. This book is a definite must read and I can not wait for book three.
A great spin-off from the Paranormal Shifters Counsel. Dwen is lost but finds herself with the help of her mates and finds her inner strength. I can’t wait to read the other two books on Dwen, and what happens with Fanes brother and him? Does Dwen turn into one of her mates Shifter mates?! While Laura indicated two more books, this one does have an HEA, and I definitely recommend this for a read.

I liked this book, the FMC’s mates are great, her elf in denial until the end. Aledwen is so sweet and the contrast to her mates is well done. I enjoyed reading this and look forward to reading more.
I think Dwen is one of my favorite heroines. She is a princess but she is down to earth, caring, and strong. She has some shocking revelations about herself, but she is focused on what is best for her people. I like her guys and the relationships she has with each, but I especially like Drey 🙂 I can’t wait for the rest of their story 🙂
