A good story but I have read better ones. If you like this genre then you will enjoy the book even though you know what will happen before it does. Got tired of her quivering reaction every time she saw, felt or was near his body.
Wonderful storyline. Really enjoyed it.
I love a good, clean cowboy/cowgirl romance. It is a sweet romance that has romantic tension/build up and a nice flow to the story with some funny moments (some due to circumstances and others due to those random, awkward moments we can all relate to at some point where we make assumptions or jump to an incorrect conclusion). The characters were fun, some quirky, and the story had a nice pace. I liked that the story kind of begins with the story line already running, and then pieces of the past/backstory unfold as the story goes along to make for a more interesting read than some other ‘clean’ romances I’ve read. Nothing deep, but an enjoyable, put a smile on your face, perfect summer (or anytime) read.
I was so happy when this book showed up in my Bookbub email. Debra Clopton is fast becoming a new and improved Barbara Cartland for me. (My mother collected those romances when I was a kid and I started my own journey into the romance novel realm through them.)
Cooper (Cowboys of Ranson Creek #3) is a book I’ve been wanting to read for a while now. Debra Clopton didn’t disappoint. This book is a lovely, well done romance.
I love her characters. Strong, gentle, and reliable men who have troubles but don’t give up seal the deal for me. Every time. Her heroines are equally strong, if not always in body, definitely in mind. They’re believable characters and I really get invested in their stories. This book was no different than the others in that respect.
The plot of ‘Cooper’ really kept me going, too. I never really knew what was going to happen next. The only problem area to me was that the climax seemed like it passed too quickly. The action there was good, but it just seemed to move too fast.
This book’s a keeper and I’m so glad I found it! (I sometimes miss out on my Bookbub offering because I forget to check my email.) I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys sweet romance, contemporary romance, or cowboy romance.
Very pleasant plot, only a couple of typos, absolutely clean language and situations. It was refreshing to read a book that’s almost free of silly and unfounded conclusion-jumping;and the one instance was cleared up quickly rather than dragging throughout the entire story.
Love all of D. Clopton Books,, Fit my style…
Cooper is book three in the Cowboys of Ransom Creek series. Cooper has sworn off women. When Beth moves in next door, he finds himself wanting to break his own rule. Beth is hiding from her ex, but eventually she can’t hide anymore. Cooper comes to her rescue. Will they each find more than what they were ever hoping for? This story is one of those that sucks you in. I loved it and definitely recommend it.
Cooper by Debra Clopton
Cowboys of Ransom Creek Series Book One
Cooper Presley is a natural flirt and the woman like him. He may go on dates now and then, but nothing serious. Unfortunately, the last girl was ready for marriage after two dates and had gone off the deep end. So, Cooper is taking a break from dating. And then he meets the new neighbor…
Beth Lee is in Ransom Creek to start over. To raise her goats, start a garden, and no men. Unfortunately, she meets the handsome and kind cowboy next door and has to remind herself how about the no men. Which is hard to do with a man like Cooper Presley.
Another fun series from Debra Clopton. Full of adorable animals and handsome cowboys. The reader can first meet the Presleys in the book seven of the Windswept Bay Series, where their baby sister, Lana, meets Cam Sinclair. Her Cowboy Hero has the neighbor girl and Cooper’s best friend, Trip Jensen, and Bride for Hire gives even a closer look at the Presleys when their cousin Carson Andrews story is told.
