When Charlotte is blacklisted in her new career as an interior decorator, all her plans for the future crash down around her. Could a job as a cashier be a life-altering opportunity? Charlotte’s interview with Benton Gordon convinces him of one thing. The owner of Gordon’s, a department store catering to a special clientele of age play Daddies, Mommies, and their precious Littles, has been … Littles, has been searching for his Little girl for many years. Can he convince this amazing young woman to allow him to care for her as only a Daddy could?
Charlotte has overcome obstacles all her life and yet still sees the best in everyone. It’s her turn now for life to give her lemonade. This is the happily ever after you’ll hold your breath hoping that she’ll find.
Characters from the first six novels in this series reappear to continue their stories. You do not need to read the stories in order. All are complete stories. The books in this series will feature invasive medical treatments, including thorough examinations and enemas, when required, as well as diaper changes, spankings, and other punishments. If you are offended by age play (adults who choose to live as a Little or a parent of a Little), BDSM, Daddydom, or dubious consent, this is not the book for you.

This was a very well written book and drew me in from the beginning. Despite the storyline, which is not my usual genre to read, i just wanted to Know what happened as I kept reading.
This is about Daddy/Mommy and their littles they take care of.
Charlotte has never had a family, and had a very rough time as an adult. We see her getting a job as a cashier. And from there the story takes off.
Id be intersted in reading more just because im curious!
Charlotte: Dr. Richards’ Littles’ 7 by Pepper North. This book is about a subject that I had never heard of and had never read about. Its a short read and will catch you attention quickly. This is the story of Charlotte who is a young woman who has had a rough life. She applies for a job at Gordon’s, a shop she knows nothing about. Benton Gordon is the owner and he interviews Charlotte and is taken with her right away. He explains to Charlotte that his store is different than any other store. Gordon’s is a store for a very specific client, a client who lives their life in a role play relationship. Charlotte needs the job badly so she accepts the job and does an outstanding job. Charlotte sees these adults that arein a very loving relationship. Benton takes a quick liking to Charlotte and feels like Charlotte has never really known love. Growing up in Foster Care Charlotte has had a rough life so far and has never really had anyone take care of her. Benton gives her a place to live and starts to have feelings for her. He finally asks her if she will be his “Little”, Charlotte accepts. She’s never been so happy. This book explains how you don’t have to be in a relationship like everyone else to be loved and happy. This is a super quick read and the story sucks you in. I will be reading more from this series.
Charlotte by Pepper North is a four star novel. It is the seventh book in the Dr. Richard’s Littles series. I have not read anything pertaining to this topic before so I was a little skeptical at first. Please beware, this series centers around age play and all that entails. If that makes you uncomfortable, please put this book down. I did enjoy this book because even though it was about age play, it also had a story line about a young girl trying to find her way after she ages out of foster care. She has a degree, thanks to a scholarship program for kids like her, but she hasn’t yet been able to find a job. Then she meets Benton Gordon who owns Gordon’s, a store who specializes in items for people who are in age play relationships. She doesn’t find it weird or disturbing at all. As he gets to know her, he realizes he feels the need to take care of her and make her his little. Because of her life growing up being so unstable, she is willing to give it a try and let him take care of her.
Charlotte: Dr Richard’s Littles 7 by Pepper North is not normally my reading genre but I thought I would give it ago.
The story intrigued me and I must confess it was not really what I would have chosen to read, although saying this I enjoyed the story and it was well written and enlightening but would I read anymore within this genre probably not.
There are elements in this story that I am not going to lie I had to then go onto the internet to check the lifestyle and was utterly in thralled into finding details to try and understand this lifestyle. This is my first book by this author and the characters where well developed and enthralling.
If you have an open mind and enjoy a good story then this book is for you, if you have a problem with age play then I would caution you this may not be your kind of book.
Charlotte is book 7 in the Dr. Richard’s Littles series. It is a standalone story so you do not have to read the previous books before this one. This is my first experience with this series. I have to say that it is definitely not something I am used to reading about, but I do think it is a good thing that someone is writing about alternative lifestyles that don’t get a lot of notice.
As I read this book, I noticed a personal confliction about how I related to the story. There were parts of the interactions between the characters that really brought out my compassion for the experience of the character, and other parts that I noticed myself withdrawing from and not wanting to look at. For me this is the sign of a good story, it makes you examine your personal journey, the places where you judge things that you don’t understand or that seem out-of-the-ordinary for you.
What I will say is, if you are not an open-minded person, this probably isn’t the series for you. There are parts of the story that make it seem like the line between consent and abuse is murky; it is fiction after all. Still, if you want something to shake up the monotony of adulting, this might be the adventure you are looking for.

Charlotte is the seventh book in the Dr. Richard’s Littles series by Pepper North. I will admit that this book isn’t something that I would normally read, but it showed up on my feed and curiosity got the better of me. This is part of a series that focuses on characters in the ‘littles’ community, those that ‘age play’ and immerse themselves in that lifestyle. Age play is where an adult chooses to live their life as an infant, a toddler, a child, or a teenager- and have another adult as their care giver, playing the part of their mother or father. This book/series also explores the reasons why someone might choose to become a little or a caregiver. Because this is my first read from this author I can’t say what the other books in the series are about, but this book contained romance, some drama, kink, and graphic/erotic sex scenes.
Charlotte is a college graduate of interior design, but has struggled to find work in her field. Things are getting desperate and she really needs to find a job- this leads her to a cashier’s position at Gordon’s (a store that caters to the Littles community)- where she meets Benton and a whole ‘new’ world opens up before her.
I loved meeting Charlotte and Benton- this is definitely a character driven plot- that has a sweet story as well. Although not my usual fare, I am happy I kept an open mind and explored the Littles world. I would definitely read another of Ms. North’s books again, she writes really well- and there are over 20 in this series to choose from.
A quick and easy read!
Thank you, Ms. North!

Expecting the unexpected? You could find it in this novel. Not for those under 18 due to adult content. This is a complete story so it could be a standalone.
Charlotte is stronger then she thinks. After years of just trying to survive as a child, and now as an adult. She is out to find a job worthy of her education. She has done everything to get a good education. Worked, applied herself for good grades, went to college, and even lived on the streets, while doing so. When a new job comes available, she applied and got the job. Little does she know where this job will take her.
Pepper North is a new to me author. So is this genre. Having said that! I can’t wait to read the rest of this series. Well written and explained clearly. Age play, playing Mommy, Daddy and Littles, just so much to discover. While this was new to me I did enjoy the story. You will too as long as you have an open mind. Nice job Pepper North!
Charlotte: Dr. Richards’ Littles 7 by Pepper North
5 Stars and this is based strictly on the writing talent of this author.
I’m like totally blown away right now…I’m not sure even where to begin reviewing this story. This has left me utterly speechless…This is not only my first read by this author but it is my first read of anything like this storyline. I’ll be honest, when I got done I immediately pulled up google because I just had to know if this lifestyle truly exists.
I’m going to break this review down into 2 sections…1. The storyline…the synopsis had my head all messed up and I had to try this book. I went into it with a complete open mind and let me just say… I’ve been blown away many many times with things I’ve read in my life but nothing has ever had my jaw on the floor through the entire story like this one. I read it so fast because I, well I don’t know what I was lol, I just know I couldn’t put it down. I can’t even tell you if I liked the book or not, this lifestyle is not something I can even come close to imagining but then I have to ask myself why could I not put it down? I can only explain this by going on to the 2nd part of my review and that is the writing of this story. This author took a subject that I so totally have no interest in and dont really want to know any more about and had me so engrossed in the story with her amazing writing style that I couldn’t put it down. I can’t even find the right words to explain this except to say the writing was completely awesome, the flow of the story obviously flowed perfectly since before I knew it I was done.
Would I recommend this book? Only to those that can open their minds and accept that there are differences among all of us and for anyone that really appreciates a solid talent in writing. If you don’t feel like you can open your mind to something so far out there but does really exist then do not read this book. She warns this right in the synopsis. Would I read another book by this author? Yes, now that I’m over the initial shock of it all I think I would, just not sure I would read any more about this lifestyle, and that is just a personal choice.
