A standalone enemies-to-lovers office romance set within the Rydeville Elite world.
Demi
Dropping out of college senior year was never part of my plan. But Dad needs me, and I’d move mountains for the only parent I’ve ever known—even working for the company that fired him.
My boss, Charlie, is determined to make my life a living hell, availing of every opportunity to undermine my confidence, to … my confidence, to humiliate and threaten me.
Sleeping with him the night of his wedding might have something to do with his attitude.
Or the fact I’m the spitting image of the woman he really wants.
If our financial situation wasn’t so dire, I’d tell Charlie to stick his job up his delectable butt.
But I’m trapped, and things are only getting worse. Because the more layers I uncover, the more I realize he is nothing l expected and everything I crave.
Charlie
If there was a manual for all the ways a person could mess up his life, it’d have my name written on it.
I can’t undo the things I’ve done, no matter how badly I want to, and every day is a constant reminder of my epic failure.
Especially her.
It’s as if Demi has been put on this earth to punish me. To inflict more torture and pain. Because every second I’m around her, she makes me feel things I don’t want to feel.
So, I lash out. Doing my best to push her away.
Until I realize she’s everything I never knew I needed, and the fight becomes a new battle—one to win her heart.
Due to mature content and themes, this book is recommended to readers aged eighteen and over. This is a slightly extended version of the version that appeared in the Bully Me anthology containing one extra chapter and two epilogues. It is a 60k word short novel that ends with a HEA and NO cliffhanger.

Sweet Redemption
Oh Siobhan, you’ve done it now. I never thought I’d use the word love and Charlie in a sentence together.
We met Charlie back in Abby and Kai’s story and to say he was a hated man was an understatement.
Now, in his book we finally get into the head of one of Rydeville’s most hated.
There’s hot steamy sex, sweet loving moments, some forehead slapping anger…and let’s not forget this is Siobhan Davis we’re talking about here so prepare to pick your jaw up off the floor a time or two.
I can’t forget emotional…I’m not sure if it’s just me being my emotional self but that one scene had tears in my eyes.
After reading, I can safely say it’s been a complete 360 for my feelings for Charlie and he has been 100 percent redeemed to perfection. I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.

Charlie.. Charlie.. Charlie..
Siobhan I don’t know how you did it… you take someone like Charlie and manage to get us to hate him only make us fall in love with him…
This book starts off on the night of Charlie & Abbys wedding.. (if you read the first 3 books you know the Charlie/Abby history)
Charlie is now the owner or so to speak of his fathers empire.. but he needs to finish his schooling prior to taking full control.
Demi is the daughter of one of the former employees who was let go by Charlie’s father when struck by a medical illness..
Both Charlie and Demi are going thru some major family problems.. and the heartache they are both going thru.. really puts it all in perspective..
I absolutely loved Demi & Charlie’s story, and getting to see the rest of the gang was just icing on the cake… Amazing job Siobhan!!
I’m so glad that the brilliant Siobhan Davis gave us Charlie’s story, as it was one that I needed to hear after all the events that went down, but I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about him despite that fact. I’m very happy to report that I fell in love with Charlie FINALLY, though he didn’t make it easy whatsoever. He pulled some very nasty things when it came to Demi, who was truly an innocent party to everything. She’s got so much on her plate that I didn’t even want her hurt for a minute, and he did hurt her more than once. That doesn’t change the fact that they were absolutely fire together, the kind of flames that had me turning my fan on high, but still. There were some twists that had the f-bombs dropping, and I can see some bad things coming when it comes to Rydeville Elite which I’m here for, but my lips are sealed. So, hit those one click buttons to experience another fabulous read from this fabulous author! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Charlie is a side character from the previous books in the series. He is struggling with guilt, shame, and regret over his actions/mistake to how he decided to handle the situation involving Abby and Kai. In this book we get a glimpse of what he’s feeling and how he’s coping.
Demi, she’s a breath of fresh air and a woman who has been dealt some difficult news regarding her family. She’s striving to do the best that she can even when Charlie is a jerk to her. Along with Demi are some new information regarding the Elites and Abby/Dean’s family.
I won’t spoil this book for anyone, but it’s definitely a good book to see Charlie redeem himself. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
This is a great follow up to the first 3 books of the series. The dust has settled a bit since the events in Sweet Retribution and everyone is trying to get on with their lives but Charlie is struggling. He feels a lot of guilt for his father’s death and everything that happened with Abby. He really can’t stand how attracted he is to Demi because he has to see her every day at work and she is a constant reminder of the worst night of his life and everything he lost. Poor Demi is just dong the best she can, stuck in a job with a hostile Charlie for a boss while trying to cope with the failing health of her father, yet she feels the attraction too.
Charlie really disappointed me in Sweet Retribution when he betrayed Abby so I wasn’t sure how I would feel about him in this book, but he clearly regrets the things he has done and has basically lost his family because of it. Although he bullies Demi at first, she stands strong, holding her own against him and as Charlie finally begins to come to terms with his past we see a kinder, gentler man who embraces his growing feelings for Demi.
I really enjoyed this book, which is a fairly emotional story. The redemption of Charlie is handled in a completely believable way. Old friends and acquaintances from the previous books make a welcome appearance or two. The writing and storytelling is excellent as always. I am so happy Charlie and Demi found each other.

Charlie (Rydeville Elite #4) by Siobhan Davis was a great 5 star read.-
Demi gets a call from security at work asking her to come to work and check on Charlie. When she gets there she ends up making a big mistake and ends up sleeping with Charlie.
We jump ahead and Demi is trying to move forward from that night focusing on her work. Charlie has been really mean and short with her ever since. Demi has also held her ground and gives it back to him. Lets just say they have a love hate relationship. Demi needs to keep her job so she can pay for her dad’s bills.
They eventually give into their attraction. Charlie stops fighting the feelings and makes an attempt to have something with Demi. When she meets his ex, she is shocked to see how similar they look. Does he want her because she looks like his ex, or does he really care for her?
Overall I loved this book. There is so much more to this great story. I loved seeing all of the characters from the previous books. There are twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I also had some ugly cry moments. I really liked the two epilogues. I can’t wait to read more from this series.

4.5
(5 on its own, 4 as part of the series)
Charlie ripped my heart out and put it back together again.
Siobhan once again did something I didn’t think was possible. She proved that the one who lost their way, is redeemable. We find out that the road was paved with good intentions. It just took us in the wrong direction.
We do see personal trials for Demi, since Charlie has already fought his demons. This was a shorter story due to it being included in an Anthology. I do wish we got some more drama in the Elite. However……. I think we needed a break from those evils. If you read the Rydeville Elite series straight through, it can be A LOT to handle. I think readers needed this sweeter story.
I do think because it was shorter we also miss more of Charlie’s personal development with real relationships. Weeks and months passed and we miss that growth and realization he was in love. But!!!!! Abby does a stinken good job getting us from point A to point B with her meddling. Charlie’s growth felt like it happened more ‘off camera’. If you don’t know the backstory, I think this works really well……if you do know the backstory, it feels fast. However, I think this all goes back to a sweeter story between more llama drama.
It was full of healing. It was full of forgiveness. It was full of love.
It is perfect in Siobhan fashion. Alpha men who fight their love and attraction, who push away to protect, and their strong, stubborn, independent women who give them a run for their money.
See, perfect.
So much redemption!!
I’ll be honest, I put off reading this book until the last possible second. I used to love Charlie and grew to hate him in the previous books and knew I was going to have a hard time getting past that. I should have known better. Siobhan can turn anyone around!
He has finally found the perfect girl for him just like Abby always wanted for him. Demi is such a sweetheart but he learns quickly that she won’t put up with any of his antics.
It was also great to see some of the old gang again. I was thought they might not make an appearance after how things left off but you don’t have to worry about that!
Don’t put off reading this book. It was phenomenal. Can’t wait for Jackson’s story next!!

Charlie was exactly what we’ve come to expect from Siobhan Davis. It was sexy, addicting and full of the delicious mean boys that we love. Charlie and Demi were fantastic and their story full of surprises. I loved this office/bully romance addition to the Rydeville Elite series.
Charlie was sexy, emotional and had hidden facets that I enjoyed. There was more to the man than the hard exterior he showed Demi and I enjoyed every minute. I loved how vulnerable he was and seeing the familiar Rydeville Elite faces. This was a fantastic read! 4 stars! ~Ratula
Charlie hasn’t exactly been shown in the best light in previous Rydeville books and so I was seriously doubting my opinion of him would change. You’ll have to read to find out if he deserves redemption.
Was great seeing the gang all together again, have missed the troublemakers.
Yet again the author has beautifully weaved more bombshells within the pages. Definitely a must read.
Loved seeing Charlie in a different light! I’m glad he got his own story! He and Demi were made for each other even with the sometimes harsh banter between them. The real chemistry between these two characters was plainly evident and it was inevitable that they were made for each other!
An added plus was seeing the familiar Rydeville Elite characters that I’ve grown to love! I enjoyed reading this book and highly anticipate Jackson’s book!

I’ve never been so indecisive about a character in my life. I have been back and forth with Charlie Barron. First I loved him and then I hated him, then I felt sorry for him but then I disliked him. Boy it’s been a conflicting journey with Charlie since the beginning of the Rydeville series. This book definitely redeemed him in my eyes. I’m grateful we got an explanation about Christmas night and I loved the small glimpses of the other characters and the epilogue. While I didn’t love this one as much as the others (I think I’m used to more epic clusterfuck moments and ok, I might have miss Jackson a little ) I did enjoy it. Counting down the days untill Jackson!!
Charlie was one of the most hated character in the second and third book..Clearly the boy appeared delusional and he was adamant about making Abi see his love..I hated how he forces her to see his love. When I first started this book I wasn’t very sure i would love the idea of charlie as a hero..He wasn’t someone I would love usually..But when Siobhan davis writes a book there is no way you can still stick with the original feelings..I loved Demi and Charlie and I think I even liked his love story despite his acts..Demi was made just for him and I can so much intense chemistry there..I’m glad I read this..Cant wait to read Jackson next
Charlie is the character that you don’t want to like but who redeems himself in this book. Charlie is trying everyday to make up for mistakes he made in the past. Demi works for Charlie after her father became ill. Charlie and Demi’s relationship is hot and cold whenever they interact with each other and you can tell that they are attracted to each other. The say that opposites attract and will this be the case for Charlie and Demi. This book was a great addition to the Rydeville Elite books. This was a great read and can’t wait for Jackson’s book.
I receive an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Charlie was the character that you grew to despise when we met him in earlier books in the series but in this book we see another side of him and instead of rooting against him I found myself rooting for him. He is a man who is tortured by his past and the one takeaway he has is to never show weakness and never allow anyone close so how did he allow Demi to break all his rules?
Demi is his assistant and she is conflicted by her attraction to him and the loathing she feels not only for him but his father as well. When it comes to his bad behavior she will take whatever he wants to dish out for the sake of her family but she is not his punching bag and has a way of challenging him unlike anyone else.
This story has all the aspects we appreciate about this series including twists, drama, hot chemistry and captivating characters that draw you in.

This right here is what we have come to know and love about Siobhan’s writing. Charlie is the perfect mix of Alpha Assholes, Sexual tension that is thru the roof, with a little bit of Bully romance mixed in. This book is the perfect transition story into the next set of stories for this crew. I loved that we got glimpses of everyone and can see how their dynamic is now since the EPIC finale of Sweet Retribution.

I’m going to be honest I didn’t think I was going to like Charlie after everything that happen and all the things that he has done. But after reading this I have since changed my mind. Charlie is lost and so very lonely trying to come to terms with everything that has happened and the part’s that he played. But what really endeared me to him was watching him with Demi. Yes, in the beginning he is a jerk and he bullies her but even as he’s doing it you can tell that it’s just a façade that he has put on so he doesn’t let anyone close again. Watching as his and Demi’s relationship evolves you can see the transition in him as his layers slowly start breaking away. It was at these moment’s that I understood Charlie and really started liking him.

I loved Demi she is pure fire and spunk, she puts Charlie in his place repeatedly and doesn’t back down when he’s being a colossal jack ass to her. She has been through a lot and has so much on her plate, but she still does not cower to Charlie. Her strength is Soul Deep and she is exactly what Charlie needed to help him get through his grief and try and start living again.
“ ,” . “ . , ’ .”
I loved this book; it may be shorter than Siobhan’s others, but it still packs the same punch that we’ve come to love. This story is strife with tension and unexpected reveals that will have you reeling, but thankfully this one does not end on one of Siobhan’s signature Cliffys. This book has revamped my excitement for the next installment in the Rydville Series and I can’t wait to see where she takes us next.

I had serious doubts that Charlie could ever redeem himself before this book… and honestly, I had doubts during this book as well. But Siobhan made me root for him! Yes, I still wanted to hurt him during parts of the book. He was the definition of the self-loathing prick who you just want to be happy. Siobhan made Charlie the guy you love to hate and hate to love.
There were definitely times when my heart was breaking, times I wanted to throw my kindle, and other times that I had a huge smile on my face. This book makes you feel everything!
I definitely can’t wait for the next one in the series!
This story was completely amazing and I loved every minute of it. Charlie and Demi are absolutely so great and amazing together. We had read about him the Abby and Kai’s series and I am so glad that he got his own book. After reading this one I really enjoyed and liked him more. Just couldn’t put this down at all.
Charlie Barron has made a mess of his life. He is constantly fighting his demons and to add to the mix he had feelings for a person that is already spoken for. One night an expected visitor comes into the office when he was feeling at his lowest point in his life.
Demi Alexander is Charlie’s new assistant and is making her life miserable. Because of her home current situation she is determine to stick it out and deal with his attitude and behavior towards her. To add they both have something holding over each other making the work place an intense and frustrating.
As the story progresses we learn more of the life and background story of Charlie and Demi and it is one that will have your head spinning and turning into something they would least expected. However, Charlie’s world is not your typical lifestyle and a battle of feelings begin to play. He will need to decide whether battle in his heart is worth fighting for.
To be honest, at first I didn’t like Charlie when I first read about him in the original Rydeville High Series. He was kind of annoying with his crush on Abby that I thought this guy cannot be anymore than a spoiled rich kid who likes to delve into danger. I’m so darn happy that I was completely wrong! After the Rydeville High series ended, I wondered what was going to become of these secondary characters that screamed for their own stories! Charlie screamed the loudest, at least for me. I was thrilled when Siobhan Davis announced she was doing additional books with these awesome guys. Demi is a woman who is caught in a situation that she cares for her ailing father and is forced to work with the man and the company who let him down when it was needed the most. She just didn’t have any other choice. She worked for Charlie’s Father and after his death, she started working for Charlie. Demi and Charlie had one night where they put all that aside and gave into their needs. Demi, unfortunately, did not know that Charlie had already married Abby in a sham of a marriage. This book was a definite page turner and I am so caught up in the Elite world I don’t want to let go of it! It’s just that damn awesome! Siobhan did a fabulous job of developing Charlie’s character into someone you want to root for and a guilty pleasure all in one! I loved this book but hang on, you are in for an emotional roller coaster ride that will question everything you thought you knew in books like this. I received an advanced copy of this book.
