A standalone enemies-to-lovers office romance set within the Rydeville Elite world.
Demi
Dropping out of college senior year was never part of my plan. But Dad needs me, and I’d move mountains for the only parent I’ve ever known—even working for the company that fired him.
My boss, Charlie, is determined to make my life a living hell, availing of every opportunity to undermine my confidence, to … my confidence, to humiliate and threaten me.
Sleeping with him the night of his wedding might have something to do with his attitude.
Or the fact I’m the spitting image of the woman he really wants.
If our financial situation wasn’t so dire, I’d tell Charlie to stick his job up his delectable butt.
But I’m trapped, and things are only getting worse. Because the more layers I uncover, the more I realize he is nothing l expected and everything I crave.
Charlie
If there was a manual for all the ways a person could mess up his life, it’d have my name written on it.
I can’t undo the things I’ve done, no matter how badly I want to, and every day is a constant reminder of my epic failure.
Especially her.
It’s as if Demi has been put on this earth to punish me. To inflict more torture and pain. Because every second I’m around her, she makes me feel things I don’t want to feel.
So, I lash out. Doing my best to push her away.
Until I realize she’s everything I never knew I needed, and the fight becomes a new battle—one to win her heart.
Due to mature content and themes, this book is recommended to readers aged eighteen and over. This is a slightly extended version of the version that appeared in the Bully Me anthology containing one extra chapter and two epilogues. It is a 60k word short novel that ends with a HEA and NO cliffhanger.

Siobhan Davis just shocked me with the release of Charlie. I’ve hated this character after the events of the Ryderville Elite books, and yet, here I am surprisingly doing a reversal and ultimately coming to the conclusion that he’s not as much of a douche as I took him for.
Charlie is an enemies-to-lovers, dual POV dark romance. The plotlines tell a tale that’s angsty, heartbreaking, and full of heat…but it’s lined with the continued suspense of the world in which the Elite live. I found the read to be less intense than the previous books in the series. However, it’s still a darker romance with themes that some might find triggering. Chalie’s a fast read that I thoroughly enjoyed. It’s important to note that while the story itself is a standalone, it’s also the newest addition to the Ryderville Elite series and must be read after the conclusion to the Ryderville Elite Trilogy. This story is Charlie’s HEA. As such, readers will glimpse the events of the trilogy through his eyes with the added bonus of a brand new heroine—Demi. While readers of the trilogy will ultimately enjoy being able to revisit the secondary characters from the previous books to and follow their journeys into the next chapter of their lives. Charlie feels like a full circle romance that I recommend to anyone who’s a fan of the incredibly talented Siobhan Davis or the Ryderville Elite Trilogy.
Quotes:
“I have never felt this deeply about any woman before, Demi. I have never wanted any woman as badly as I do you. And I have never wanted to open myself up to the possibility of something permanent in the way I want to do with you.”
“I’ve never wanted to be anyone’s Prince Charming before, but I want to be yours.”
DENISE’S DREAMY REVIEW
Siobhan Davis truly doesn’t disappoint and with her newest addition to her Ryderville Series, which I enjoyed so much… I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Charlie!
I didn’t know how or what I was going to feel while reading Charlie because I wasn’t a big fan of his during the first three books, but this one gave insight on his character. The Charlie you meet from the start of the book isn’t the same Charlie as you continue to read and get to the end! He truly redeemed himself in my eyes and I’m so glad! Seeing him through Demi’s vision made it all the more clear, Charlie IS the hero in this book AND a Prince Charming!
Four and a half dreamy stars:
I love this series!! Siobhan Davis is such a great author, I swear I do not know how she can write all these different characters and stories that are just simply amazing. I do not think that I have read anything of hers that I have not liked or loved. In Charlie for example, how can you take someone that you do no like, and completely redeem him, make you love him. Show us that yes he does in deed have a heart, and can love.
So in Charlie, we get to finally see what he is all about. So much gets answered here on him. Whatever theories you have on him, you will get to see if they were true or close. Yeah he crept on me.
If you love a good complete turn around in a character, lots of growth and a woman who will bring him to his knees. This is the story for you.
This is a stand a lone but i do recommend reading the series in order to fully understand this story.

Ryderville redemption continue with this book and this is Charlie’s story. Its wonderful to see him getting his own book after the showdown with Abby,Kai and Drew. *** I suggest (not a must) that you read the previous book in this series to have a better understanding of this story and its characters and background of relationships of these group. In the previous book Charlie’s father was mudered in front of him and to some extention Charlie needs to be redeemed. Ms. Davis has done a superb job of transforming Charlie in this book! she has turned him around, upside down, inside out and showed us that what a great man he can be with wonderful woman.
We are introduced to this amazing woman, who is Charlie’s assistant Demi. She was strong and brave and beautiful. With everything she had gone through and was going through, her strength was inspiring. With Charlie she gave as good as she got.
This book was so very well written, that I fell in love with Charlie. What a well written book on redemption
I voluntarily read a copy of this title in exchange for an honest review
Pleasantly surprised
Anyone who has read Ryderville Elite knows we have a serious love hate relationship with Charlie Barron. It was good to see him redeem himself as a man. While I enjoyed the story I think there was an opportunity to 50 Shade this book in a real way. But it was really good none the less.
I had a soft spot for Charlie from the previous trilogy … I mean HOW COULD YOU NOT?!
Thankfully we now have this book that’s all Charlie! <3
So many things I had questions about are answered here and honestly I still can’t get enough of this world!
Can’t wait until we get our hands on Jackson’s story!
The character you love to hate, yet hate to love . That describes Charlie. I went into reading this book thinking I knew Charlie well enough that redemption would not fall in his favor but now, just wow. I knew this series would always bring twist and turns, pull into unexpected places. But reading this story just completely turned my assumptions upside down. Demi is definitely the star shining to his redeeming features but I honestly think it started prior. We just didnt know it. I truly loved this story of heartbreak, longing, loneliness and everlasting love that strengthens these two in ways reminding us redemption is possible. Definitely a must read to add to the Elite collection!
Just finished Charlie. Let me tell you ladies. This book is just what you would expect fro Siobhan Davis it was truly amazing. All the ups and the downs definitely hit all the feelers. The love story was amazing Charlie and Demi is a love. For the story books ah get it but if you haven’t read this book yet it would definitely go and get in it. You won’t be disappointed but I would advise reading the first three first because this is the fourth book in the rydeville elite series. Enjoy reading
Charlie by Siobhan Davis was everything I expected it to be.. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
I have liked Charlie’s character from the beginning of Rydeville Elite. He was quite, sweet, caring but also had that darker side that you knew would come out at any moment. Well, that darker side ended up coming out in him towards the middle to ending of Rydeville Elite books 1-3 and while I knew it was coming, it was still a shock sort of. I had those thoughts of disappointment and discussed towards him for the things he done. In a way I knew he got caught up in trying to save a friend and confusing those feeling with love. But deep down I knew he could be redeemed and Siobhan did not disappoint.
At the beginning of Charlie, he’s grief stricken by his actions and he’s full of self hate. In this book you see him overcome his emotions by finally finding true love. I’m not going to go into details because I don’t want to spoil it. Charlie is a must read if you’ve read the first 3 books in Rydeville Elite.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.
I really enjoyed Charlie and so please that Siobhan dwelve in his story. I neevr hated him, he made lots of mistake in the Ryderville series but I always believe he had good intentions even if he was misguided and I was sad that he was miserable in the end.
I was not sure how it woudl work out after his obsession with Abby but Siobhan did a great job. You’re really rooting fo rthis too and even if it is a novella it feels like a complete novel.
The heat level is great and these two are explosive. It is such a great book and it manages to take you by surprise a few time.
I love Demi she is a kind person with a strong personality. She is perfect for our Charlie.
Honestly you have to read it!

What Can We say about him hum he is hot and sexy and he knows it.
She is a lady that works for him and she has an attraction to him but she is doesnt want to enact on it since he is her boss. They are perfect for each other.
There is danger around the corner and he wants to protect her so he did what he thought was correct and in the long run. He hurt both of them. It was a fantastic read I wanted more of them.
FIVE REDEMPTION STARS for Demi and Charlie !!!
Siobhan did it again!
Her new story totally melted my heart and I fell in love with a character that I thought I never will.
“Charlie” is a dark bully romance book with enemies to lovers trope.
Honestly, I didn’t like Charlie in previous books because he did some pretty bad things that made me wonder how someone could be that heartless.
But, in this book he changed.
He changed a lot thanks to Demi who came into his life like a hurricane and made him think about things he has done and start to change.
Making things right and getting his redemption to be worth her love and her time.
I truly love Demi.
She is a strong female character who gave up her college and the future to help her sick dad.
Demi and Charlie’s relationship started wrong but ended up as true love.
Their chemistry is pure fire and the connection they have is everything.
If you’ve read the previous books from the “Rydeville Elite” series, you should definitely give a chance to Demi and Charlie’s love story!
You won’t regret!
P.S. Can’t wait for Vanessa and Jackson’s book !!! My book boyfriend is coming very soon!
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
ANGSTY ENEMIES TO LOVERS, TOUCH OF DANGER, INTENSE AND OH SO ROMANTIC
Charlie and Demi’s story is extremely gripping and angsty from the very get go.
The characters are absolutely fantastic and I love that even though the characters are interwoven from previous books this book is a standalone and can be read outside of the series!
This story definitely starts with Demi pretty much hating the site of Charlie because of an episode that happened between them but along the way you can almost touch the sexual tension that is building between them. After their connection starts to build between them it is undeniable they are head over heels for each other but it definitely comes with the price of twists and turns along the way.
Demi has definitely been sideswiped with terrible issues where her father is concerned and Charlie has been through and done unimaginable things but in the end they grab on tight to each other and make it out the other side and it ends with an amazing HEA! I love the way Siobhan writes and can’t wait for the next installment of this series.
In some ways I adored Charlie in the previous books but in others I totally hated him. This book made all my likes come back! This author loves to make my emotions go on a roller coaster of emotions in all of her books. I loved how she put closure to some of Charlie’s story but hope that I will see him in future books since he is one of the “friends”. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book
If you’ve read the first 3 books in this series than you are probably used to the mind blowing twists and turns of Siobhan’s books. This book doesn’t have that. This book is more about redeeming Charlie. I didn’t think it was even possible but somehow she pulled it off.
It was good to read all about Charlie as his character left a lot be desired in the previous books and we finally get a chance to know him and what was behind all his misadventures in the first 3 books of the series.
Now that was a surprise reveal about Demmi and Abby and suddenly it all makes sense.
Can’t wait to read about all the other characters as thought the series had ended but its seems like things are brewing and getting more exciting with the new elite regrouping.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Siobhan’s writing is always on-top. Charlie is another great example.. not only is the book itself amazing… he’s also a wonderful character
I will start this review off by saying you must read the 3 previous books in this series or you will be lost as to why the main character is the way he is.
Charlie’s book was one I didn’t know I needed! He became the man I loved to hate in the previous Rydeville elite series books so his story moving forward was a nice surprise.
Demi meets Charlie while he is in a vulnerable position then flash forward 9 months and she starts to work for him. He is rude, condescending, and makes her feel like she has very little value. Demi knows some of the secrets and pain that Charlie harbors, as she has her own. Demi’s father used to work for Charlie’s company but was fired when a health scare occurred and never re-hired. As a result, Demi has to work to keep herself and her dad afloat.
This book really was a redemption story for me. I loved the character development and Demi may be one of my favorite Siobhan characters. She was strong and willing to stand with Charlie through all of the developments in his life.
I voluntarily read an advanced complimentary copy of this book.
I voluntarily read this book for the author for the purpose of review. Great read. I hated charile but after reading his book everything makes since and Charlie is amazing. He totally redeemed himself for me in this book. The best part of the entire book was the look in to the future. Can’t wait to read the rest of the guys stories.
