You’re the Charge…
Bad Boy. Screw-up. Good for nothing. Hero. Angel. These were all words Grayson ‘Torren’ Trammel had heard whispered behind his back over his lifetime. What he hadn’t heard was ‘quitter,’ and he’d be damned if some little rehab chick, with her beautiful brown hair, and hot, sassy little mouth was going to label him as such.
To My…
Tru knows Grayson’s not for her. He’s … Grayson’s not for her. He’s too bad. Too hot. Too demanding. Too taken.
She tells herself that almost daily as she helps Grayson get back into fighting shape after a horrific accident nearly ripped his life away from him. That had taken the life of one of the men in his MC.
Grayson is everything her father warned her about, but there’s just something about him that intrigues her. That makes her want more.
The man’s a firefighter. How bad could he be?
Line…
Apparently, he could be way worse than bad, but he could also be so very, very good. Something Tru realizes, rather quickly, when the two can no longer fight the pull that’s between them.
Now there’s only one word she wants to hear when it comes to him: his.

Tru and Torren were two characters that i just felt had this chemistry that was going to be electric when they finally gave in and gave each other a chance. and i was right. i enjoyed this book from page one, and could not put it down. there was forces that were trying to keep these two apart, and it was these forces that brought them even closer.
Vale did it again. and now i can’t wait to dive into the next book to follow this one.
Torren thought Molly was the one for him but when Tru jumped into his arms he started second guessing what he truly wanted. I loved this story and the twists and turns with the man who obsessed over Tru. I loved the relationship between Tru and Rue, had me cracking up. The heat between Torren and Tru was off the charts. I loved those hot alpha bikers from the Dixie Wardens MC. Highly recommend this book, series and author!!!
I found the relationship that grew between Tru and Grayson to be sincere, organic and wonderful! She got him in a way that no one else had and it was beautiful. Thankfully, with Tru in the picture, Cleo’s horrible little sister, Molly, didn’t stand a chance!
In the last book (Life to My Flight), Torren risked his life to rescue Rue from a fire. He damaged his shoulder in the process and in order to get back to work he needed physical therapy. Tru was the woman to get him back on track and she gave her all to give him the power to be the hero he needed to be. Which was awesome because it allowed him to put down all threats to his woman.
Things got a little horrific towards the end, but overall, this was a sweet and funny romance with plenty of heat.
This one had a good amount of drama where I just could not put it down because I needed to know what was going to happen next. This book did not disappoint either.
I loved Tru and Torrens story. And the fact she refused to call him Torren was so cute. I loved that she called him by his real name, Grayson. These two were definitely put threw the ringer though.
Go read this book to find out. You won’t be disappointed.
Grayson “Torren” Trammel is part of the Dixie Wardens MC and also a firefighter. He’s injured in a deliberately set fire trying to safe his fellow firefighters/MC brother Tunnel and saving Cleo’s wife Rue. So after surgery means Occupational Therapy. And who is his therapist, the beautiful girl who jumped into his arms 3 months earlier, Tru Doherty, who happens to also be the daughter of a police officer and the Fire Marshal who suffered from a prank he pulled several years earlier. Of course, being a Lani Lynn Vale book, there is humor, snark, love, excitement and a phenomenal story that you don’t want to end. Loved this book!!

Torren and Tru are so spectacular together. Their dangerous situation in this book could have never been avoided! When these two come together they are Fiery hot!
5 Firey Stars!
Fantastic. Torren and Tru are absolutely cute together, they have instant chemistry, and a wonderful connection. I loved the protectiveness, the unconditional adoration, and complete loyalty. This was an unbelievably intriguing and heartfelt story. I enjoyed every second.

This is the 6th time reading this book and to say I am a little obsessed with it might be an understatement. I have read every book of LLV’s and for some reason Grayson “Torren” Trammel has always held my heart, some others have come close but never quite succeeding. Tru and Grayson’s story is action packed, steamy and heart wrenching at times. Their story keeps you on the edge of your seat but also has you laughing out loud at the banter between these two and some of the other old ladies. If you are after a story that digs deep under your skin, has you totalled mesmerized by it and also has you losing your heart to a character that is bigger than life itself then this is the one. If there was ever going to be a book or a character that I had to pick as my ultimate book of choice, Charge to my Line will always be that for me.
The Dixie Wardens MC Benton, LA chapter!
I absolutely adored Tru and Greyson’s story. And if you read the series before this one and then this series, the time line is correct!
This story is amazing and kudos to Lani Lynn Vale for another exemplary series read!
This is the 6th book in the Heroes of Dixie Warden MC series. They do not need to be read in order, but I strongly suggest that you do so that you get a better background on all the characters. It’s a great series. I think this is the best one yet!
This is Torren and Tru’s story.
Grayson “Torren” Trammel is a member of the Dixie Wardens MC. He is also a fireman and medic. In the last book, he was hurt while saving Rue from a fire that would have killed her and did kill his friend, Tunnel. He has to go through months of physical therapy because of his injury. Boy was he surprised when he meets his therapist. She’s the woman that changed things for him, but she doesn’t know it.
Tru Doherty is that woman. She found herself jumping into his arms because of a dare! That’s how it all started for them.
“I was such a dork. I was literally a homebody. I didn’t do this sort of shit. I’d never even had a boyfriend! I was still a virgin! I didn’t know how to flirt.”
These two are perfect for each other, but there is someone trying to keep them apart. It’s a struggle to deal with, that’s for sure.
“I’ll never give up on you. I’ll fight Satan and God himself to keep you with me. You’re mine, and I’m yours. And you will fight for me if it ever comes down to it. Because if you’re gone, what do I have left?” ~Torren
I love both of these characters. Torren is amazing, he is great at his job, and a complete fool for Tru. He will do anything to keep her safe, loved, and protected.
“You, darlin’, are what I never knew I needed. I’ve spent all these years trying to find something I never knew I was missing. But the moment you launched yourself into my arms, you changed my life. This has been the best year and a half of my life, and I know there are many more to come. You’re the charge to my line, baby. Without you, I’d be useless. Without a water, a fire would become a raging inferno. And that’s what would happen if I ever love you. I’d destroy mountains for you, and will until the day I die.”
Just like in the previous books, the life lessons and quotes at the start of each chapter had me laughing. I love them!
“Be a gentleman, know when to hold the door open for her. Be a man, know when to pull her hair.”
I loved Torren and Tru. They were both really great characters and I just loved their story. The mystery and suspense was perfect. The romance and their relationship was so great to read. Charge to My Line was very enjoyable and I found myself really loving both of these characters.
Grayson ‘Torren’ Trammel thought he knew what he wanted but when it was in his grasp he realized he didn’t. Then he meets Tru, she fascinates him but she is off limits until he is done with his rehab, then he makes his move.
True is hilarious and I liked that Torren had a unique story. This is one of those story that gets better with every turn of the page. One of my favorites so far in this series. If you have not picked this series up do it.
Love Torren and Tru. This biker series is so good and all the alpha badass bikers are so amazing. Can’t wait to do a reread of this series, One read is never enough with Lani’s books.
