Melody Clutterbuck has her eyes on the prize, and that prize is handsome, uptight engineer, Will Darling. As part-owner of the local flower shop, people expect her notoriously sunny disposition and esoteric way of doing things to shine, but when the town gets wrapped up in an orienteering competition, Melody’s competitive nature comes out. She plans to win both the wilderness event and the man, … man, and nothing will get in her way. Not even Wil himself.
Will Darling is nothing if not a fierce competitor. He is focused, determined, and driven. So when he finds himself falling for Melody and her chaotic, flighty, sexy ways, it seriously threatens his regimented world. And when they’re paired together for the orienteering competition and dropped into the middle of the Shoshone National Forest alone, more than one kind of sparks fly.
Can Will hold onto his organized world or will the fire between him and Melody take over and spread chaos in its wake?

Predictable but a quick, fun read
I found the story line to be unrealistic. I was disappointed.
So -so read. Didn’t really care about the characters.
Took to long to engage me. Kept looking for the plot to move on. Did not finish reading.
Boring
I liked the story. I liked he geekiness of the hero, and that he wasn’t always completely sure of himself.
Couldn’t get into it
The characters were touching & funny.
It was a cute story with great characters. i enjoyed it.
I loved how the characters developed and the story unfolded. Somethings were a little predictable but overall I like the writing, and it was fun. The premise was interesting. The secondary characters were a good mix and the backdrop was rich.
The least likely being the most perfect. Just how scary/romantic can adventure can be depends upon unusual skills and determination. A great read. One you won’t put down until the final period on the last page.
It was cute and mindless-a sweet little romantic story.
The H and h helped each other to change for the better. Steamy love scenes.
This book dragged. I’ve read other books by the author but this one was disappointing. Will was too nerdy and for a smart guy who was also military he had no backbone in any part of his life.
Fun loving smart heroine
I enjoyed reading this book. Very entertaining.
OK, but a bit boring
This book was entertaining. Characters discovered that it is never good to make assumptions about someone based on their appearance and that it is possible to break old patterns of behavior for the better.
It was not a page turner for me, so I thought it was just OK
I łoved the h. She had heart.
