She said one night. He said more. She should’ve known better than to argue with a lawyer.Ava Callaghan was never going to be just one night. She was going to be more, much more. She just didn’t know it yet.Hotshot lawyer Elijah Ward can’t be interested in his friends’ and colleagues’ little sister. With his long-term relationship over, he isn’t looking for anyone, including off-limits Ava … including off-limits Ava Callaghan with her long blonde hair and zest for life that eclipses everyone around her. She’s the daughter of his old boss and the sister of his new one – not a good career move.
She and Elijah can be for one steamy night only. Settling down isn’t on Ava’s agenda: the only thing she’s planning on settling is the foundations to another refurbishment project.
But one night is never going to be enough, not when Eli has as much mastery in the bedroom as the courtroom, and Ava has to decide whether it’s worth changing the space around her so there’s room for him.
A life-changing incident, family shenanigans and a persistent ex-girlfriend are enough to persuade anyone to close the door and walk away. But Eli isn’t the type to let what he wants walk off with his heart.
Eli Ward argues a good case for making their space a joint one. The question is will she let him win?
Can easily be read as a steamy standalone!

I love this series so much! The Callaghan Greens are by far one of my favorite series and all the books are fantastic reads!
Such a great story between them. Kept my attention all the way through.
This book !!!!!Annie Dyer, your books just keep getting better! I love Ava and Eli’s story just as much as I love the others. Ava, being the baby of the Callaghan-Green family, has everyone looking after her. However, she just wants to show everyone that she’s capable of taking care of herself. She is a fun, warmhearted, and strong young lady. Eli is a strong bad-ass lawyer that works for the family law firm. The day Jackson and Vanessa got married, Ava and Eli decided to have a one night stand. But for whatever reason, they just couldn’t stay away from each other and they eventually ended up in each other’s arms once again. Ava went through a rough time and Eli tried to be there for her, but she needed some space… until she could finally see what was in front of her and she took the next step in their relationship. Ava and Eli are made for each other and they fit perfectly with the Callaghan-Green family.
Brilliant in its uniqueness! I have hands down enjoyed all the series books so far and this one is no different however it is different! Ava and Eli’s story just so beautiful and Eli and Ava are wonderful, deep, strong willed and bring their own weaknesses to the table and learn to be supportive always!
Way to make a girl anxious for the next book in the series, Annie Dyer!
Changing spaces will leave you breathless… This Callaghan Green book is the most romantic to date. Elijah is patient, soft hearted and kind, but all Alpha in the bedroom. Ava’s tough on the outside, but he sees through her and falls in love with her vulnerability and kindness. The plot also takes on several twists and turns. I loved how the story leads us on a treasure hunt, and secrets are unfolded, while at the same time, the characters own interior layers are being peeled away. The sweet discovery and the plot action make this book addictive through the very end. I wished for the story to go on and on. Another very well-done story in the series. I am eager for more!
Elijah is a successful lawyer, hot as sin in his mid-thirties, who loves to play rugby with his friends. He’s just ended a 2-year long relationship and let himself accept a one-night stand with a feisty young blond beauty. As she happens to be his boss’ little sister, they’ve both agreed to keep it secret.
I loved how mature and manly Elijah is. He never pushed Ava for anything, waited for her to be ready. Although he felt like a bit of a caveman, he managed to keep his emotions. His life experience helped him to decipher his feelings and be on par with his sentiments.
As the youngest of 7 siblings, Ava always felt the need to prove that she was autonomous. She didn’t follow the family path, went to study abroad, and built her own company. She’s feisty, and nothing seems to be able to stop her.
This book reminds me a little of the Walsh Series by Kate Canterbary (my favorite one), mainly because of home renovation and the tight bonds between them.
Ava’s story was just as amazing as the rest of her siblings books! I loved each of the sister’s books because it is always hilarious to watch the brothers react to their sister’s guys and them dating and Ava and Eli’s story was no different. I love how Eli could read Ava easier than anyone else in her life and how hard he worked for their relationship. Even though there was an age gap, Eli was perfect for Ava and their story with their relationship woes was amazing. If you’re looking for a reason to download this book or start an amazing series, I am telling you this series is worth it!
I loved Ava and Eli’s story. He is a bit older than her and they start out as a one night thing. They become friends and realize that their attraction to each other needs more than a one night limit.
I enjoyed Ava’s journey from carefree single to finally realizing that she is indeed ready for a committed relationship. Her journey is not easy and she has to both learn to be vulnerable and trust her own strength. Elijah is super hot, smart, successful and getting over a relationship. His journey is one that goes from learning to enjoying freedom to desiring the binds of a loving relationship.
I loved the progression of their relationship and Eli’s willingness to move at Ava’s pace. He recognized that she needed to get there and was willing to wait which was very swoon-worthy. I love that he wants to protect her but also knows that she needs the confidence of independence and he supports her.
This may be my favorite of the series so far, and I loved all of them so that says something. Eli is an amazing hero and perfect for Ava.
There is so much packed into this book and I didn’t want it to end, not only do we get to see Ava and Elijah start to fall for each other but get to know the rest of the family more as well as see things from their perspective that occurred in Between Cases. There are loads of times I got frustrated with Ava but I also got it in regards to her not waning to commit but also worried how Elijah would react to they way she wanted things. Best you get comfy before you start as you definitely are not going to be moving until you get to the end and be warned there is a house scene that will have your blood pumped and biting those nails while you see things unfold!
Another knock out for Annie Dyer. I love everything about the Callaghan/Greene family.
Ava and Eli are no exception. I loved reading about them. They are an amazing couple.
We caught up with some of our past couples and of course Seph. Can’t wait for his book!
I don’t want this series to end I want it to go on and on.
Ava and Eli have to be one of my favorite couples!! I love the way their relationship progresses through the book. It’s so real you can feel it. Annie writes characters you expect to meet on the street they’re so real. I love this series and this has to be one of my favorites!!
This is #5 in The Callaghan Green Series. The series order is Engagement Rate, White Knight Compromising Agreements, Between Cases and Changing Spaces.
The Callaghan-Green series continues with the story of Ava, the baby sister. Gorgeous interior designer and house flipper, Ava has been spoiled and protected by her family since birth. She proved her independence by going to New York for college and not becoming a lawyer and unlike her older siblings, she’s also not ready to settle down. She’s young and vivacious and wants to live freely. Eli is a lawyer in her family’s law firm, older and recently single. He’s perfect company the night of her brother Jackson’s wedding, except Eli keeps turning up and going home with Ava. It’s just fun, they’re just friends having a good time. Is that enough? Is the age difference a factor? What will her family think, if she reveals their secret? After reading Between Cases I couldn’t wait to see this story unravel. I love the development of each familiar character. We get more insight into the antics of Callum and Seph, the love Marie and Grant have for the kids, the sassytude of Claire, and figuring out how many husbands Simone has had. I’m anxious for their stories as well. A must read series!
This is the fifth book in this awesome series and is Ava and Elijah’s story. Ava is the younger sister in the family, and Eli is a lawyer who works with the family, therefore Ave is off limits. These two have combustible chemistry, and cannot deny that one night is just not enough. No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a well written story which has drama, an annoying ex, and is steamy, endearing and a poignant sexy love story. I cannot wait to read more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all.
This is a fantastic series about seven siblings finding love while navigating work and their relationships with each other. Changing Spaces is Ava’s story.
Ava is very content running her design business and dating without looking for a relationship. What was supposed to be one night with her brother’s friend Eli soon turns into two, then three…and more.
I have loved all the books in this series and while they can certainly be read alone I recommend reading them all as they are all so good! I loved Eli especially in this one. The man was so in love and had so much patience! I can’t wait for the next book!!
Absolutely loved this book and the characters…Ava & Eli’s story was just as amazing as the other books in this series and I love how she intertwines all the stories and characters so you stay up with all of their lives. So descriptive…author makes you feel as if you are there experiencing each page with the Callahan’s. I just love to escape in Annie’s books.
I’m convinced there’s nothing a Callaghan can’t do, except not be their most authentic self. I aspire to that level of self-awareness and assurance; I want to be a Callaghan when I grow up.
Ava is the baby of the family who hates being babied, knows exactly what she wants, and how she wants things done. Enter Eli: her siblings’ coworker and friend at the law firm who recently got back on the market. What’s wrong with two consenting adults having a little fun? Nothing. Where is the line between friends with benefits and lovers? Four cushions on his couch ago. The chemistry and twists in this book will leave you reeling and begging for more.
Ava and Eli are my new favourite couple. I loved this story so much. I wanted to keep reading but not at the same time as I didn’t want it to end. This story had it all, love, passion, drama and humour. I absolutely loved it so much. I can’t recommend this series enough to everyone.
This book is the love story of Ava and Elijah. Having read all of the previous books in this series, I was super excited about this story. Ava is strong, sexy and independent. She is a handful. Eli is also strong and sexy, but also kind and patient. They have known each other for a long time and he knows her family as well. They start off as casual, but their chemistry and attraction is too strong to deny. They go through rough patches, but are able to find their way back to each other.
I ended up with a crush on him because he is such a sweet, tender loving man. I also liked knowing what happened with the other Callaghan-Greens.
I have to say I love Annie’s writing style and get her books without even needing to read the blurb because I know I’ll enjoy them. She never disappoints. This book is another one worth the 5-stars I gave it.
I was so excited to get my hands on this book. Boy did it not disappoint. This is the fifth book in the series, and I think each one is better than the previous one. If you like swooning while you read then pick this. Ava and Eli are so good together. Each book has a HEA, but could be read separately. I recommend going in order though, but then I always have to read in order.
I just loved Ava & Eli. After reading the previous books in the Callaghan Green series I knew I would be in for another winner with this story. Ava & Eli got together at her brother & sister in law’s wedding & their chemistry was off the charts. They weren’t looking for a relationship but slowly that’s what happened, though Ava tried to keep it a secret for a while since Eli worked for her family’s firm & she is the youngest of the siblings. Just like the other books in the series I couldn’t stop reading it.
