I knew this internship would change my life…Thirty days ago, I received an internship with a design firm in L.A.One day ago, I kissed a hot businessman in a swanky bar and then left him with a fake name and number.Today, that sexy stranger is my new boss, and he’s not too happy when he finds out my real identity. But that doesn’t change the fire that lit between us and now I have six weeks of … now I have six weeks of trying to resist Brody Jensen.
He might be out of my league, but I’d be out of my mind not to give in to the chemistry threatening to consume us.
I know Brody is breaking the rules for me, but he’s not the only one.
Because I swore I’d never fall for the type of man my mother always warned me about— a man who is married to his job.
Too late.

4 Stars!
I’ve been meaning to pick up more of Ms.Hill’s work and I’m so glad that I got the chance to with Change In Strategy! I had to finish it in one sitting. This was such an enjoyable read for me from start to finish!
From how these two characters are brought together to getting to dig deeper with them, Peyton and Brody’s story is quite the memorable one! I loved getting to connect with these two throughout reading.
With Change In Strategy, Ms.Hill created a read filled with uniqueness, blushworthy moments, and real emotion that got to me! I can’t wait to pick up Game Changer soon!
*I volunteered to read and review a copy of this book from Wildfire Marketing Solutions / the author*
This is the 2nd book in the series, Change of Hearts. You don’t have to read book 1, Game Changer, but you should! Sierra writes each book with great detail from the background to the current lives of her characters. Brody and Peyton see each other from across crowded bar and quickly share a first kiss. Oh my! This is a very sweet story that does deal with some real life problems. It does have some humor, some deep emotions, and definitely romance! I highly recommend this office romance book and I’m looking forward to more in the series!
Peyton has moved to a new city, ready to intern at a prestigious clothing line working with the CEO Brody Jensen. After a carefree night with a hot stranger, she’s shocked when he turns out to be her new boss.
Brody can’t get the gorgeous girl he met out of his mind. Confused as to why she would give him a fake number, he’s equally as shocked when she walks in his office as his new intern. Angry about being duped & lied to, will they be able to work together? Because despite the tension there is still a simmering heat that’s waiting to boil over.
This was a fun office romance about Peyton, Brooklyn’s best friend from the first book. Both are holding onto secrets that will eventually come out. Another great read from this author!
What a fun cute read!
Imagine meeting this hot guy on night 1 in a new town before your internship starts. Serious kissing. Love it.
Then you give the guy a bad number.
Then you walk into your internship and hot guy is your boss!
This all equals a great recipe for an office romance!
Highly recommend
Sierra Hill
I love a sweet swoon worthy romance that heats the soul and warms the heart!
Brody and Peyton definitely have heat and man can they light up the night when they come together, but before that can happen Peyton needs to overcome her fears and take a chance not only on herself but in life!
I love how very real Sierra’s characters are! They face issues that we all deal with and can easily identify with, but more than anything they are characters who just want to be loved for who they are and that’s something I think we all have felt!
Brody is a man who has sought acceptance and gone for what he’s wanted! He doesn’t take a backseat to anyone and has carved his way in life, that is until he meets Peyton! Nothing in his life makes sense he just knows he has to have her and has to find a way to keep her! Peyton is flighty and for good reason! She’s been let down her whole life and doesn’t trust others easily! When her world collided with Brody she starts seeing what she’s missed and takes a risk bigger than anything she could ever imagine! Here’s to praying the demons of the past stay where they belong!
A heartwarming romance that is a definite must read this spring!
Love love reading Brody and Peyton story. And love that we have the chance to see Garrett and Brooklyn too to know how they were doing in their lives. And this man what can I say about this story. Peyton definitely had a rough beginning in her life but I love the strength she had to over come all of what she went through. And Brody that was one hot boss I don’t know how Peyton had all that strength to not jump his bones lol! I definitely love reading them I hope we have the chance to read more of the chacaters that we came to know in this series like Kyler I would love to read his story.
I really liked this book. The characters had great chemistry and the writing was magical. Could not put down. Really good.
I really enjoyed the story and the characters, this is my first time reading this author, but it won’t be my last!
After Brody and Peyton meet in a bar and she gives him the old bait and switch she thought she might of dodged the bullet her mom warned her about (even though Brody was a bullet she wouldn’t mind). She never thought she’d see him again that is until she meets her new boss lol. These two are both hiding things they don’t typically divulge but they feel something around each other they haven’t ever felt. Cute story with very likable characters!
4 1/2 stars. Another winner for Sierra Hill. I am really enjoying this series so far and this, book 2 in the series that can be read as a stand-alone, definitely lived up to my expectations. Peyton is 21 and very innocent. She has been through a lot in her family life and her own personal battle but now is hopefully her time to shine. Landing a coveted internship in LA is just what she wanted. She meets someone her first night there in that movie-esque eyes lock across a crowded room way. There may or may not be some kissing involved but then Peyton leaves expecting to never see him again. Imagine her surprise when she walks into her first day at her internship only to find him as the CEO. Sigh. Brody Jensen. Swoon. He is so sweet, sexy and irresistible. I love how their story unfolds and how they deal with difficult situations as they come up together. Mostly. It is not always an easy relationship to navigate since he is her boss but the love bug bit Brody that first night at the bar and he will not give up until Peyton is his. I really enjoyed this story and these characters and love that Garrett and Brooklyn made appearances. And Kyler is a hoot! Would love to see him fall in love!
Peyton and Brody meet by chance, their eyes literally meet across a crowded room and boom. It takes them time to realise what the readers have figured out, they are in love. I liked both main characters and enjoyed the fast pace of the story. The story could have been full on but it morphs into a slow build that allows for the relationship to develop. The story was well written with a good mix of humour romance and steamy scenes.
After reading the first book in the series, I was ecstatic to learn more about Peyton and I was not disappointed. I read books to get away from life but every so often, one will slip in that will have you questioning yourself and will have real-life circumstances for you to unravel and then learn to love. That’s what this did for me. Peyton and Brody have their hands full with each other but in learning to accept their attraction and growing relationship, they have real issues to overcome and it just sucked me in.
I loved Payton and Brody. These two really do fight for their happiness. They’re both battling their own demons and baggage from their upbringings. Both characters are complex and very layered, but easy to like and relate to. Their connection is undeniable and their chemistry sizzled in their insta-love/lust romance. The story does cover some pretty hard topics of abuse and eating disorders, but does so in a respectful way. I love them together and I’m a fan of the office romance trope so this was a really entertaining read for me. The pacing was great and the romance pulled me in and the awesome characters and story kept me glued to my Kindle.
Peyton’s in LA for her last year internship when she meets a gorgeous suited hottie at a bar, and suddenly they’re engaged in the hottest makeout session of her life. He seems to want to continue, but Peyton is nervous about starting her internship, knows she won’t be in LA for long, so she gives him a fake number and name and figures she’ll only see him in her memories. Too bad for her that when she walks into her new boss’ office, he just so happens to be the hot suit from the bar…
Peyton has a past she hasn’t disclosed, and Brody’s already mad at her for her little lie, when he finds out, will he be even more mad? Or is turnabout fair play when she finds out he lied to her, too?
I really liked this office romance. It’s really sweet, their chemistry is electric and both characters are much deeper than the usual cardboard cutout. Brody’s maturity really highlighted their age and maturity differences, and that was a problem for me, but really the only thing that bothered me, because everything else more than made up for it. Excellent story, great pacing and a really deep connection make for a very entertaining read.
I have this issue where I find it hard not to like a favourite authors work. I try to figure out what is wrong with me that I didn’t like it. And to be honest with the current pandemic feeling like the beginning of a Stephen king novel I’m putting half of it down to that. Because damn is the world distracting.
And to be honest I went into this with a lot of trepidation because I really didn’t like the first book. I didn’t hate the characters in this book, I just didn’t connect with either of them. But like I said I didn’t hate it and I did like the story I just had moments where the world distracted me.
I honestly believe if I read this at another time it would probably be a four star read but for now I am stuck on a 3 star rating.
Peyton Burke is a young woman who has been through so much in her life, that she is ready to move forward and be the person she knew she always could be. Finishing college, having an internship with a major design firm but what she never expects is meeting Brody Jensen.
Brody Jensen is a man who is out to prove to not only his father but to the world that his design firm could be one of the best out there, he has his nose to the grindstone it’s all work and no play for him until a chance meeting across a bar starts him looking to change his outlook on everything he has known.
When Brody & Peyton come together you will watch how there connection will grow, there will be many obstacles thrown at them but you will see how sometimes just talking it out and being honest can make everything right with the way you want it to all end up and hopefully find the HEA that they both truly deserve.
Peyton has many hardships she has to overcome leaving her feeling less than deserving of love and extremely weary of men in business suits due to her mothers troubled love life and ill fitting advice.
Brody Jensen the fashion business mogul was quickly infatuated with “Brooklyn” the fake name Peyton gives because she is just looking for someone to help her start her new beginning away from home and the comfort of her roommate Kyler.
But soon enough on the job Brody discovers the truth and the rollercoaster that their relationship is begins …
This book is really fun read with queer representation…
I always love a good book that ties several tropes together nicely and this is one of them. Yeah…you already know one of them but I’ll leave the others for you to discover yourselves. Peyton is Brooklyn’s best friend (from Game Changer) and she has not been dealt the easiest hand. Also not helping her perspective on relationships is her mother’s constant warnings about men in suits. A fun story but also some serious issues that both Peyton and Brody must confront in their own lives. A few great twists and the most amazing BOSS….you’ll see. I need Kyler to have his own story please…I loved this secondary character immensely!
This is the 2nd book in this amazing series and is Brody and Peyton’s story. Peyton has had a horrid upbringing which understandable leaves her with trust issues, and on a night out before she starts her internship at a design firm she meets Brody, and ends up giving him a false number, only to find out that he is her new boss. This is a well written story which has sizzling chemistry and is an emotional roller coaster journey throughout. I was intrigued and hooked throughout this riveting page turner, and I highly recommend for all.
