Carolina is opening a book store, but that isn’t the biggest news on Chancey’s Main Street. Why in the world would an upscale coffee shop be opening in the old junk store? Why would a fashionable young woman who’s been on TMZ be moving onto Main Street? Who’s the guy taking over Carolina’s bookstore and at the same time moving in with Patty?
I stumbled on the Chancey book series through Book Bub. I read the first one out of sinc, liked it so well I bought the series. The story line was as if I was right there in Chancey among friends.
I loved this series!
I absolutely recommend the entire Chancy series. I love getting caught up in whatever Carolina is up to. She is a real life mom that we can all relate to.
Read them all. I pre-ordered the Christmas story.
All these books are worth reading.
Another fair story with a lot of angst and drama.
A great read…loved it.
Enjoyed it a lot. Fun characters with interesting stories.
I thought it dragged and was boring
Third or fourth book I’ve read in this series. Always fun and enjoyable to read.
I didn’t finish it. The main character is pessimistic and whiny. I got tired of the attitude.
Some grammatical errors which I find bothersome. WAY too many characters — mostly all female and hard to keep track of. Not overly inventive r interesting. Passable for a way to kill time.
I love these books, and not just because I’m from North Georgia!
I enjoyed the first Chancey book and went on to read the entire series. Made me laugh at loud at times. Loved the characters and the story pulled me through each book. Good read!
I just could not finish this book, I will try again
It was my first Chancey book. I’m sure I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the others in the series.
This was an okay book. It was somewhat entertaining, somewhat interesting, somewhat. Just not better than that. One of a series but not enough to keep me interested in reading any others.
I’m really enjoying the Chancey Series. This one is a lot better than the one right before it. Looking forward to the next volume!
Enjoyable visit to a small town in the south! Fairly predictable and some inconsistencies and gaps in storyline and grammatical errors.
Fairly good story, but disappointed that there were so many editing errors in the book. Very disappointing and distracting.
Too many characters, many similar. I’d read an earlier book, but not recently. A lot of the plot referred to events in the earlier book or expected the reader to remember who these characters were.
