Chance is book 15 in the Reed Security Series and should be read in order. It is also part of a 3 book arc. Sniper and Jackson need to be read first.Chance was taken when Reed Security was attacked, but he has no idea who has taken him or why. Over the course of a year, he plans his escape, knowing there is one person on the island he won’t leave without. But torture breaks every man eventually … every man eventually and he doesn’t know if he can make it until the end.
Morgan made a deal with the devil to get her daughter back and finds out too late that it was the wrong choice. Held captive with a man that is obsessed with her, she has to find a way to convince him that she loves him. But will she actually fall for him? And if she does, where does that leave her with Chance?
The men and women of Reed Security won’t stop until one of their own is back home. They’ll never give up, and this time, they’re out for blood.
“Good news,” Sinner grinned as he walked into the room. “I got you ice cream.”
“Are fuc- serious?” I glanced over at Payton, hoping she didn’t catch my little slip-up. Morgan stood and took Payton’s hand.
“Why don’t we see if we can find you some ice cream?”
“Can we get some for Chance?”
Payton looked at me, trying not to laugh. It was f^@king obvious that the last thing I wanted was ice cream.
“Sure. I think we should get him some Mint Chocolate Chip.”
I glared at her, but she just smiled at me. After they left, I motioned for Sinner to bring the ice cream over. I feigned not being able to move and he brought it real close. I took the cup and pushed it into his face. Ice cream dripped from his nose and mouth and there were splashes of ice cream all around his eyes.
“Feel better?” he asked as he picked up some napkins and swiped at his face.
“F^@king fantastic.”
“You know, I was just trying to do you a solid.”
“How is ice cream doing me a solid?”
“No one brought me ice cream when I was in the hospital,” he pouted. “And my d^ck was practically singed off. If there’s ever a time for ice cream, it’s when you’re almost singing soprano.”
“Yeah, see, I just have a few bullet holes. I’d rather have steak.”
“What do you have against ice cream? It’s comfort food.”
“For chicks.”
“Guys like it too.”
“Do you know any guys that sit down and say, ‘I’m feeling blue. I think I need some ice cream to cheer me up.’”
Sinner shrugged, leaning back in his chair and pouting. “I don’t see what’s wrong with it. Ice cream feeds the soul.”
I rolled my eyes at him and plopped my head down on the pillow. “Please tell me that you’re not starting in with this shit.” I pointed toward the hallway. “Go. Find me a man that can bring me a steak.”
“Nobody opens up about their feelings over steak.”
“Is that what this is about? You’re all trying to get me to share at story time?”
“Look, we’ve all been there at one time or another. Sharing helps to set free those demons and unlock you inner-”
“If you don’t shut the hell up, I’m going to unlock my inner a$$hole and shove this table up your a$$.”
“Geez, you know, I just came in here to chat.”

Normally I can’t stand cliffhangers, but Giulia made me put aside my bias and give this three book arc a chance(no pun intended), and this book wrapped up the entire arc perfectly. Chance and Morgan have been through hell and then some, as well as the rest of the Reed Security Team, but manage to find their happiness in the end. This book had everything I look for in a book, I laughed, cried and felt every emotion in between. Would definitely recommend this series.

This series just gets better, look forward to the next one…
You have to read each one from the start of the series and the men and women within it. I started with Sinner and went on from there. You can’t just read one and move on to another book, oh no, you need to read the next one and the one after that, so on as you find out all the little bits of each character you begin to see the whole story of the series and those behind it. Each character brings their own bit to and and you want to know more. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.

I was so excited to read this one as it was not only Chances book but also the conclusion to the 3 book arc that had seen all the guys and gals involved with Reed Security on the run, in hiding and fighting for their lives while they also try and work out who is behind the attack on them. What Chance and Morgan go through over the year they are both held captive separately would break most but you keep hoping and being surprised at their inner strength as the thoughts of each other and Payton keep them trying to survive their own prisons. You will laugh, cry, cringe, get angry and want to sling back a drink or two while you see ow things pan out not only for Chance, Morgan and Payton but also the rest of the Reed Security family and I just hope we get to see more of them all and this isn’t the end!

This book is a gritty and thrilling fast-paced read.
The storyline is full of drama, angst, violence, suspense, torture, murder and love
This author has done a brilliant job with this story and I cannot wait to read more of her work.
Highly recommend

I love all the Reed Security books and Chance, Morgan, and Peyton’s story has been my favorite. This book completes their 3 part story. Chance and Morgan are both determined to do whatever it takes to get back Morgan’s kidnaped daughter, Peyton. Both undergo almost 2 years of physical torture, abuse, and mental anguish. And once they get back together, how do they move forward??!! The author of this series, Giulia Lagomarsino, has a fantastic way to give the reader a break from the intensity of the storyline. The men and women of Reed Security are insane and in the best way possible. Some of their dialogue puts me in stitches!! I cant wait for the next book.
I received an ARC from Booksprout and this is my honest review.
As usual Giulia nails it with third and final book in the 3 part set within the Reed security series. I was on the edge of my seat during this entire book. I couldn’t put it down until the last page!!! The painful journey for Chance and Morgan had me in tears over and over again while I read their story. After every thing they went thru in order to get their HEA was such a journey and one that couldn’t have been written any better than it was. As usual for these Reed men the hilarious antics among the men were so funny I found myself in tears for good reasons. SO happy to have finally gotten an answer to so many unanswered questions thru out this entire series. SO happy to see so many twists and turns that kept you on the edge of your seat finally come to a happy close for now. Can not wait to see what is next for these men of Reed and their families. Keep the awesomeness coming!!!!

This is book fifteen in the Reed Security series. This book is not a standalone as it’s part of a trilogy within so read Sniper and Jackson first. I have had the absolutely pleasure of reading each and every one of these books and I cannot recommend strong enough how amazing this series is. The men and women that you meet, their stories that are shared, the comadrie they share and the crap they do and face, it is all done together. This becomes a very tight knit group that does not always experience sunshine and roses, this is one of those dark times. Chance has been kidnapped when Reed Security was attacked. He has no idea where he is or who has him. He does know the time, he figures almost a year, that has past and the torture he has endured. All men have a breaking point, Chance is certain that he is reaching his. His thoughts of escape are dwindling but he does still think about Morgan. Morgan is being held captive by the same people with Chance. She needs to get her daughter back so she makes a deal. Her job is to make Chance believe that she loves him but can she do it without truly losing her heart? I think that this is my favorite book of the series. The story of this book broke my heart but mended it all the same. This book had me sniffling, teary eyed, frustrated and of course exhilarated. It was another wild ride in the Reed Security series and would not change a darn moment of it.

Although this is book 15 in the Reed Security Series you do not need to have read all the previous books. However, it is book 3 of a story within the larger story and so I advise reading the 2 books prior to this one, Sniper and Jackson before reading Chance. This book is brilliant, the plot had me completely mesmerized, I could not put the book down. I had so much invested in this story and the characters before even starting this book that I was 120% invested in finding out what was going to happen to them next and if they were going to get a HEA. There is lots of action, mystery, suspense, pain, violence and intrigue going on throughout this story. If you have ever read anything by this author before you know it’s going to be great, if you haven’t read this author before then all I can say is jump in now because this is a 3 book mini-plot that you do not want to miss!

This is the final book in a 3 book ARC trilogy and it was exceptional and I couldn’t wait to see how everything would come together.. Chance was taken as a prisoner when Reed Security was attacked and held under extreme brutal conditions and beaten regularly for a year, but he kept himself from being broken by repeating over And over that he was going to get off the island with Payton, Morgan’s daughter. Morgan also has been taken by the”broker” and was subjected to his brutality too. This is a very intense and emotional read with all the brutality, suffering and the uncertainty of being rescued. There’s also lighter moments that are hilarious with the other Reed Security members. This series is a MUST Read. Giulia, keep them coming!!!

This is the third book to the ARC and one I’ve been waiting on since I first read about Chance. From a storyline point of view it had it all. Chance was taken prisoner and tortured for over a year without breaking. Morgan, the heroine in this storyline, had her daughter taken and was blackmailed into going with a psychopath for information about her whereabouts. From a reader and emotional standpoint, this was an emotional rollercoaster I won’t soon forget. All of the ups and downs, the drama, the angst, the sheer terror were written in such a way it drew me in and made me feel like I was physically going through all of this with them. I believe you’ve outdone yourself this time Giulia Lagomarsino. Congratulations.

Third book in the sub series and fifteenth book overall in the reed security series and this one is a heart breaker I do think that you need to read the three books in the subseries to fully understand this book and I would recommend that you read the entire series
This is Chance’s story he has been taken prisoner and has been tortured for the last twelve months he is been held in the same place as Payton Morgan’s daughter Meanwhile Morgan is pretending to like Wes in an attempt to find out where her daughters something he has no intention of telling her. Once again the guys from Reed security will step it up not only as they plot and plan but also as they discuss various aspects of life there is nothing funnier than big tough guys talking about romance books. This series is an absolute scorcher and as always I will be hanging out for the next book

Chance is the fifteenth book in the Reed Security Series and they should be read in order. It is also part of a three book arc,Sniper and Jackson need to be read first. This story had me laughing so hard, three women going into labor at the same time and their men’s reaction was priceless. This is a series that when it is finished I will be reading them all in order again. The things Chance goes through when he is taken and spends a year in captivity. He meets Morgan and he daughter Payton who had been taken by the same villain. I recommend this book.
If you have ever been on a military base that had family quarters, especially among special operators, you will likely have noticed the baby boom. Locked down in a secondary location or two, Reed Security seems to be facing that combo of testosterone, stress, and.,,,,
Meanwhile, Chance and Morgan/ Shula have been captives of very different kinds of torture. Even when a psychopath acts tame, he is still dangerous, as Morgan discovers at cost. Everything that was necessary to keep him from exploding may be something she and Chance do not want to discuss, but I suspect there will be wounds long after bruises and bones have healed.
Rebuilding of many kinds lies ahead for the team and their families.
KU super intense action and psychological thriller/ adventure !
I got an advance copy from Booksprout.
I have bought or borrowed most of the books in this series from Kindle and Kindle Unlimited. A guilty pleasures with grit!
Morgan was taken by Wes and hopes to get her daughter back but she knows Chance was taken too.
Morgan (Shayla) faced with the choice of staying and burning in her home or going with Wes the Broker who tells her he will get her daughter Payton back takes the later option. She is locked in a bare cell and when she talks to the woman who brings her food Wes shots the woman and leaves her body rotting in the cell for over a week. He wants her obedient to him. Chance was kidnapped taken to an island where he is tortured but does not try to seriously escape as he know Payton is also on the island and he wants to take her with him. The torture and sparse food are weakening him which he knows is a bad sigh but is determined to free Payton. This is the third in a three book story line.

I had no idea how the author was going to resolve this – not just with Change, Morgan and Payton – with the entirety of Reed Security. Morgan has to pretend to like Wes even as he repulses her. I cried with her and for her. Chance’s captors treat him brutally, but at least he was trained for that. They have to go through so much to be together, just heartbreaking most of the time.
The Reed Security guys are in rare form at times, especially talking about romance novels, and going through “labor”. And their wives don’t let them get away with much.
This book has it all – romance, action, suspense, pain, drama. I started reading this series with Ice (and plan to go back to read the earlier books), but this 3-part story has been the best of them all. Everything is finally resolved, and Chance and Morgan get their chance at a HEA.

End of this intense series
I loved this last part
Manipulation, lies, Morgan and Chance each in captivity must cope, have to adapt to their new situation, their lives and Payton’s life, always in return for their submission. This part is rather hard to read because of their conditions, be it the psychological manipulation of Wes on Morgan, or the physical torture suffered by Chance.
On the other hand, the whole family of Reed Security doesn’t give up anything and their links keep a part of humor that alleviates the story.
Excellent ending.
WOW!!!! That is all I can say after reading this installment. I loved the way both Morgan and Chance’s points of view were given almost simultaneously. Chance and Morgan had similar, yet different, experiences both had to trust their captor in order to survive. Morgan had to get Wes to believe that she was in love with him to garner more freedom and get closer to finding Payton. Chance had attempted to escape more than once and endured harsher punishments each time until one of the guards became an ally. Can they survive long enough to find Payton and escape their prisons?
I love reading this series and I look forward to whatever is next.

This author is an instant “one click” for as this series just gets better and better.
The connecting thread is Reed Security and the ex-Military Seals who star in each book.
Lots of suspense, intrigue, and gritty raw brutal scenes with kidnapping, torture, murder and violence. In the midst of all the raw drama, love, passion, and a quest for justice rings through the storyline
Morgan’s strength showed through as she dealt with her tortured, manipulated captivity by Wes. True, her being there was a culmination of bad decisions and poor choices, but she showed her mettle when the going got tough. Chance was the super alpha macho man and endured hell at the hands of the hidden enemy. I loved the way the story unfolded and the very satisfying and climatic ending.
This author is very talented.
