Chance is book 15 in the Reed Security Series and should be read in order. It is also part of a 3 book arc. Sniper and Jackson need to be read first.Chance was taken when Reed Security was attacked, but he has no idea who has taken him or why. Over the course of a year, he plans his escape, knowing there is one person on the island he won’t leave without. But torture breaks every man eventually … every man eventually and he doesn’t know if he can make it until the end.
Morgan made a deal with the devil to get her daughter back and finds out too late that it was the wrong choice. Held captive with a man that is obsessed with her, she has to find a way to convince him that she loves him. But will she actually fall for him? And if she does, where does that leave her with Chance?
The men and women of Reed Security won’t stop until one of their own is back home. They’ll never give up, and this time, they’re out for blood.
“Good news,” Sinner grinned as he walked into the room. “I got you ice cream.”
“Are fuc- serious?” I glanced over at Payton, hoping she didn’t catch my little slip-up. Morgan stood and took Payton’s hand.
“Why don’t we see if we can find you some ice cream?”
“Can we get some for Chance?”
Payton looked at me, trying not to laugh. It was f^@king obvious that the last thing I wanted was ice cream.
“Sure. I think we should get him some Mint Chocolate Chip.”
I glared at her, but she just smiled at me. After they left, I motioned for Sinner to bring the ice cream over. I feigned not being able to move and he brought it real close. I took the cup and pushed it into his face. Ice cream dripped from his nose and mouth and there were splashes of ice cream all around his eyes.
“Feel better?” he asked as he picked up some napkins and swiped at his face.
“F^@king fantastic.”
“You know, I was just trying to do you a solid.”
“How is ice cream doing me a solid?”
“No one brought me ice cream when I was in the hospital,” he pouted. “And my d^ck was practically singed off. If there’s ever a time for ice cream, it’s when you’re almost singing soprano.”
“Yeah, see, I just have a few bullet holes. I’d rather have steak.”
“What do you have against ice cream? It’s comfort food.”
“For chicks.”
“Guys like it too.”
“Do you know any guys that sit down and say, ‘I’m feeling blue. I think I need some ice cream to cheer me up.’”
Sinner shrugged, leaning back in his chair and pouting. “I don’t see what’s wrong with it. Ice cream feeds the soul.”
I rolled my eyes at him and plopped my head down on the pillow. “Please tell me that you’re not starting in with this shit.” I pointed toward the hallway. “Go. Find me a man that can bring me a steak.”
“Nobody opens up about their feelings over steak.”
“Is that what this is about? You’re all trying to get me to share at story time?”
“Look, we’ve all been there at one time or another. Sharing helps to set free those demons and unlock you inner-”
“If you don’t shut the hell up, I’m going to unlock my inner a$$hole and shove this table up your a$$.”
“Geez, you know, I just came in here to chat.”

3rd book of a 3 book arc like it says in the title, so YOU MUST READ Sniper FIRST, then read JACKSON! Sniper and Jackson are cliffhangers. This is book 15 of the Reed Security series. This was an emotional book and at times heartbreaking as the characters struggle. Giulia has never disappointed me, and is one of the few authors I will get her books right as they are published.

This is part of the Reed Security series, and the third of a three book story arc featuring The Broker. There is resolution regarding Chance, Morgan, and Morgan’s missing daughter Payton. There is a lot going on, and as this arc covers the last three books, I don’t want to spoil anything, so I’ll just say that I enjoyed this book-I haven’t read all of the series but I am now definitely going to get Knight! There’s lots of difficult things, but also happy things, and stupid things, like the fighting the men seem to do which trashes the house/office, etc. Lots of action, love, healing, fighting in this one. This series doesn’t take itself too seriously, one of the reasons I’ve got hooked on it. Looking forward to Alec & Florrie’s story.

This book was awesome! The whole series is. What am I saying – all Giulia’s books are awesome. With all the drama, the action and the horror, you sure end it with a laugh. I laughed so much. The Reeds are so crazy and their women are even crazier. Surely their babies will be crazy too. I can’t wait for the next book.
It was nerve wracking and nail biting story.
I did in two setting. Firstly I have to find out Chance and Morgan story. I did skip the boys banter pages…yes they have different approach to deal with PTSD.
After that I read again from first page to the end so I could laugh .
Chance journey and imprisonment was heart breaking. Tortured the body and soul…
Morgan love for her daughter is like tornado, she did destroy everything just to get her back.
Payton will have a special place in your heart.
Enjoy reading
