I loved this book! Another great start to a series by Denise Grover Swank. I cannot wait until book 2 comes out. I just love how I am able to picture everything in my head. It was so difficult to put the book down to go to bed and I love that it made me anxious/excited, made me laugh, and even cry a little.
I really enjoyed reading about Magnolia and her world. She seems like a strong character who is not without her flaws. Her mom is frustrating but she has her reasons and I cannot wait to find out more about her and Magnolia’s past. I also enjoyed all of the other characters in this book and I am excited to read more books in this series.
I liked this one and look forward to reading more of the series
Great mystery. The author keeps you hanging on. Must read the series.
A great mystery featuring an engaging main character. I’m looking forward to more!
This book kept me guessing who the killer was.
Dreadful. It tries to force you to read another to find out but the first is so bad I don’t care what happens. Uck! What a waste of time.
I enjoyed the read.
Love this book series! I wish it hadn’t end. Have suggested this book series to several friends.
Good plot with twists- readers should be made aware that all four books are connected so 1-3 leave you hanging
A good continuance. Keeps my mind always wanting to finish the next book.
Sometimes the story was a bit too difficult to follow and the explanation for “not telling” was too pat but it got easier the further I read.
I loved this book, so entertaining.
This was an excellent book. It is one of those books that makes you want to cry when it ends because you want to know more about the characters and their lives. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
Engaging… Very well written… Too many unresolved plot lines at the end – perhaps requiring me to read the next book!
Very good read..I had to buy the 2nd part to keep story going..I’m on disability…But nex t.v month I will buy the 3rd book of the series so I can finish out the series..
Magnolia is quite the character and an actress! The author did a really nice job in intertwining the main character’s relationships throughout the book and would slowly work on informing the reader as to how each relationship came to be all the while still keeping bits of history just out of the readers grasp. Nicely done!
Absolutely love this Magnolia steele was a lovable fun in charismatic character to read about. It was one of those fan who done its – Read it from cover to cover and one day would definitely recommend to a friend
Really liked it and will watch for next in series
