What a sweet time travel love story! I love how the travel would happen and seeing them both adjust to the times was very entertaining. I really liked this one and will be diving into the next in this series.
This was my first Bess McBride’s book, and won’t be my last. This is the first book in the Old West Series, a beautiful Time Travel Romance. Hilly and Clint’s story is sweet, fun, entertaining, intriguing, and beautiful. The world building is well done, and interesting. I loved it. Michelle Babb did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series, A Home in Your Heart.
This review is for the audio book.
I really enjoyed this book. It is not the normal type of book I listen to but I must admit that the plot sounded good and I really like the narrator so I thought I would give it a try. Glad I did because it was interesting enough that it kept me hooked, wanting to find out what happens next. I loved listening to the past in the wild west, I guess that has a lot to do with growing up watching Westerns with my mum and it was easy to imagine John Wayne riding down main street on his horse that I kept waiting for him to turn up. I liked the characters and found there interactions with each other sweet. All in all this was a fun, sweet adventure in romance and the wild west. I am looking forward to starting the next book because time traveling for love has caught my imagination.
Hilly visiting her brother in Arizona can’t help but stop do do some sight seeing where she comes across a cave that will change her life for ever. The wild west is no long just actor’s re-enacting a shootout at the O.K Corral because if Hilly can’t find away to get back to her time line then she might just become a part of history. Clint is part of that history but with Hilly discovering that cave it also changed his life for every because he got to experience the wonders of modern technology and love. Could he possible go back to the way things were? With or without Hilly?
I thought Michelle did an excellent job with the narration and helped capture both centuries really well with her unique and entertaining voice.
I love to read. I mostly read mysteries, specifically cozy mysteries, however, I do occasionally read romance. Having said that this is not a typical romance. Time traveling between modern times and the time of the old west gives this romance a unique spin. Hilly and Clint were enjoyable characters. Their chemistry was great. You couldn’t help but hope things work out for them. The story is well-written and entertaining.
I listened to the audio version of this book. I have enjoyed listening to the narrator Michelle Babb before. She is a wonderful storyteller, she has the ability to bring a book to life. She has a talent for giving each character a distinctive voice and allows their personalities to shine.
All thoughts and opinions are my own, and in no way, I have been influenced by anyone.
I love reading time travel stories and although I had not read any of Bess McBride’s books before, I was eager to listen to Caving into You when I was given a copy of the audiobook. Hilly is researching the history of Tombstone and meets Clint, a Wild West show actor. Clint has traveled from the 1880s to modern day and has been trying to figure out how to get back. How is Hilly involved in this phenomenon? Can she help him return? Such a captivating story, it kept my interest throughout the book. The author included interesting tidbits about mining in the late 19th century. There are some twists and turns, a little humor and, of course, a sweet romance–what more could reader who loves time travel romance ask for? Michelle Babb did a great job narrating Clint and Hilly’s charming journey to the past and back which made for an enjoyable listening experience. I listened to a complementary copy of the audiobook and was not required to write a review. The opinions are my own.
I listened to the audio version of this book. I have always found time travel books intriguing and Caving into You is no exception. I was really interested when I discovered that at the beginning of the book, one of the main characters had already traveled through time.
Hilly and Clint become acquainted in modern times, but one of them doesn’t belong there. Their attraction for one another is complicated, but becomes more so when they travel back in time together. There are hiccups along the way in their relationship, but they finally discover love for each other. The question is, will they stay together in one time or will they lose each other again?
The narration by Michelle Babb is my favorite type–soothing and well paced.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts are my own.

I haven’t read a time travel in a while, but back then it was usually the female who did the travelling. This one starts out with the guy being transported from the OK Corral to the 21st century and the female is an author from Seattle. While she seems kind of dopey sometimes, don’t we all? I enjoyed this light read!
Michelle Babb is the narrator extraordinaire!
