“5+ PHENOMENAL CRIMSON ELITE STARS!! This book is in my top 10 books for 2018.” Welcome to Crimson Elite, the most exclusive sex club in the world. Enter at your own risk, and always remember our number one rule—You must never speak of Crimson Elite—the punishment is severe. Creed ‘Too Hot for Words’ Christopher If God created the perfect man he would closely resemble Creed, on the outside that … closely resemble Creed, on the outside that is.
He’s as cavalier as they come. Unconcerned. Cold. Dismissive. I wonder if he has any feelings at all.
And when his lips touch mine, everything goes black. He takes me into his world, and it’s the most magical thing I’ve ever experienced.
And I’m sucked in time and time again.
Like a moth to the flame, I am ready to be set alight.
Elicea ‘Fcks With My Head’ Beckham
Elicea is a firecracker. She has piqued my interest, and no one piques my interest anymore.
Beautiful women are what I do—it’s my work.
Not one of them has managed to get their claws into me the way she does. It’s as if she’s seeing my icy heart and trying to melt it, set it alight with each touch of her sinful lips.
But that can’t work, it won’t work.
Not in my world.
Please note all books can be read as a standalone*

OMG talk about 4 hot alpha men.. Cavalier is book 1 from this HOT as sin series. You are introduced to the men of the Elite: Creed, Falcon, Echo and Darby. All sexy and mysterious in their own way and will leave you wanting more.
Book 1 is all about Creed and Elicea. The chemistry between the two burns through the pages from the very beginning with an amazing story line that will not let you put it down until the very end.
Looking forward to getting to know all the Elite men especially Echo, he is a little bruised and broken and deserves a good woman.
As always T.L.Smith sucks you in to another guaranteed 5 star series!!
I loved El and Creed!!! Their story kept me guessing what was coming next and I have to say I didn’t expect a certain thing to happen but it was perfect and right for them. Silent and brooding meets desperate and scared. Creed will win your heart without words! I can’t wait to see who’s up next, I kinda wanna stake a claim on Echo. God he’s breaking my heart and I don’t even really know anything about him yet. I just wanna hold him! Great beginning to a new series! Bravo, Ms. Smith, Bravo!
That one time this girl thought T.L. Smith wouldn’t surprise her again…
Yet, here we are, after experiencing the amazing waves of Cavalier, a new – and let me tell you, kick-ass – start to a brand new series you will want to binge read time to time.
T.L. Smith brought in an other shade to her writing, and let me tell you – she doesn’t disappoint! I’m loving all this Crimson Elite thing. The way these boys create a family through business, how they have each others’ backs and I love everything about it in general. I’ve been literally reading it in a trance, it was that amazing!
Creed and Elicea are explosive! Each and every of T.L. Smith’s couples have this unbelievable sparkle war running around them, but these two took it into an other level! This love is impulsive, it’s all-consuming and you can’t help just fall for them. Hard.
I’m absolutely ready for the next book! Seriously, need my fix now!
This was an entertaining erotic romance that engaged me for quite a few hours. Not earth-shattering, but still fun.
Teddy Hamilton and Mackenzie Cartwright do a wonderful job bringing this story to life. I always enjoy when a story is narrated by two individuals when it is in a dual POV.
Creed has walls up so high his friends barely see any emotion from him, but spitfire who doesn’t take his shit is about to change all of that and so much more. Elicea is a down on her luck former waitress who Creed hires as the new bartender to work at his exclusive club Crimson Elite. Now all they have to do is try to stay away from each other, even if they want nothing more then to loose themselves in the other.
TL Smith is a new to me author, and I am seriously hooked. This story is so so hot . I loved both Creed and Elicea, as well as the other 3 owners of the club.
It’s so good that I haven’t finished reading it yet
3.5 stars
Cavalier, boy does that describe him to a T. Creed is the unruffled, constant in this crew. Or he was. She changes everything.
An indifferent man and a woman trying to block out the world. Both broken. Both in need. Both in denial of what it could be. Almost…cavalier.
This book is a page turner good story
Although this was my first read by this author, I had high expectations of this story due to the very intriguing synopsis.
My rating already shows my disappointment with this book. The writing wasn’t bad and the book had a lot of potential but sadly the story was on a standstill for the majority of the time. The characters were turning in a circle, the thoughts often repetitive. Halfway through the book I couldn’t tell that there was anything happening other than Elicea’s new job and the main characters not acting on their attraction, which by the way, I didn’t feel at all.
I think my dislike of the story started with how Elicea accepted a mysterious job from a total stranger who she repeatedly thought was too intense. She didn’t know the guy or even what the job entailed. And after she’d started working there, it didn’t seem like there was even a schedule because she was called at a whim to work instantly. Who does that?
The hero and heroine had no common ground, no chemistry and no connection at all. They were boss and employee, only had sex but never talked to each other because he was moody all the time and ignored her when she was constantly angry at him. Creed was arrogant and never cared about her opinion, and she was mad because she couldn’t figure him out. When she caught him doing something for the club, she was horrified for a second but forgot about it soon after although it was a big fucking deal! How could there possibly be a relationship? Obviously, I didn’t like how the story ended and how she just ignored what he did for a living.
Regarding those oh so dark and mysterious guys, well, they weren’t dark or mysterious at all to me. They were quiet, not very interesting and acted more like adolescents. I didn’t get how they could run a club like that and were such criminals with what they did to people, but Creed was still his mother’s darling. I just didn’t buy their personalities or rather constantly changing characteristics. I expected a lot more from this story and its characters and I don’t think that I’ll continue this series because the other guys of this group weren’t intriguing enough for me.
I struggled through this entire book and fought against giving up altogether. I really don’t know how I managed to make it until the end because there was just too much that added to the pile of things that annoyed me. Maybe it was because it was my first book by this author that I wanted to give it a real chance until the last page.
If you don’t mind those things I’ve mentioned, then I’m sure you’ll like the story better than I did. You can always give it a try.
(Please don’t be offended by my review as I only tried to just explain why I did not like this book.)
I don’t know what happened when reading this. Cavalier sounded promising with an enticing blurb that offered salacious deviance, an exclusive club setting, a dismissive hero, a feisty heroine and one explosive relationship. However, reading this made me so frustrated with everything that happened between Creed and Elicea.
I couldn’t connect with either character nor their relationship. It disappoints me because I loved Kandiland! Majority of this narrative is revolved around Creed and Elicea’s instant attraction towards each other in between some intimate scenes. I couldn’t step inside these characters’ heads, to feel that same attraction; to understand the inexplicable draw towards each other.
“Creed doesn’t care, doesn’t have any feelings. He’s completely cavalier about everything, or so he says.”
Creed is described as being quite aloof; the quintessential tall, dark and handsome brooding type. While this is an appealing characterisation, it didn’t work with Creed as these attributes were mentioned far too often they lost all lustre. I found Creed neither compelling nor enigmatic, because it felt as if an insignificant amount of information was disclosed about his personality. When we eventually learned more about this complicated character, it was repetitive detail.
On one hand, I appreciated Elicea—she’s a strong-willed woman with thriving independence and rooted pride. She realised her limits and understood them, believing that hard work is more fulfilling than accepting easy options and handouts, no matter how charming and spellbinding Creed is. However, on the other, she’s stubborn beyond anything else.
“He’s like heaven and hell wrapped in a package that was made purely for me.”
‘Complicated’ isn’t an accurate word to describe this couple’s relationship. Sexual tension between Creed and Elicea created a desirable build up, otherwise they played a constant game of push and pull, or they’d keep running away from each other rather than have a mature conversation. Creed’s friends—Echo, Darby and Falcon—are, too, immature asshats. One second they’re vilifying Elicea, the next they want Elicea back with Creed.
I despised the ending trope. Without giving much information away, it felt easy. Cheap, a convenient excuse to bring the couple together. It added virtually nothing, sad to say.
The dynamic between the two main characters are lightening. You meet El and instantly like her. Her personality is fun and she’s her own woman. Then you meet Creed…they are both stubborn and strong minded. But they luckily find their happy ending. The other three fellas a swoon worthy. This book was a quick read bc it was entertaining to read and fall in love with all the characters.
Great book highly recommend
Hot men and sinfully hot action with plenty of chemistry to melt your heart, as well as your kindle.
Love Creed and Eliceas amazing broken intense love story. So need more whos next Falcon.
I love how TL Smith’s brain works, and with her latest, I can only hope for additional books quickly! Ms. Smith weaves a tale with just enough suspense to keep you turning the pages, but with more than enough chemistry for you to fan yourself, wanting to know more.
Watching as Creed began to fall for Elicea was incredibly fun. I love a hard man, and Creed most certainly is that—and he doesn’t lose it just because his heart starts to play along (the end…oh, this man at the end…).
This series will no doubt be fun. I enjoy books that have a family-type feel to them, even if the “family” is friends.
