Malina MacGregor is more than just a delicate flower in need of manly protection, but you wouldn’t know it by the slew of male family members who show up anytime she tries to go on a date. She’s a powerful warlock in her own right, if only they would let her prove herself.
Fine, sure, she’s made some poor choices in men in the past—like the demon she mistakenly hooked up with in Las Vegas years ago. But that was then, and this is now, and she more than made up for that mistake.
Darragh “Dar” Lahey may be a luck demon, but his luck ran out the night he met the magic-wielding temptress—Malina. Now he’s back, and he has an ax to grind. Malina needs to pay for what she did to him, and the supernatural attacks he’s firing at her magical family is just the beginning. There is only one hitch in his plans for revenge—even after all this time the stubborn woman can still make his heart ache with love, and his body burn with need.
Warning: Contains yummy, hot, mischievous MacGregors who are almost certainly up to no good on their quest to find true love.
What readers are saying…
5 Stars! “Glorious chaos reigns. I highly recommend this book (and the other Warlock MacGregor books). Happy reading.”
5 Stars! “I was really excited for this book. The youngest and only daughter she is protected a bit too much by her brothers who torment her. I always knew there was more to her than met the eye but never would’ve guessed her time in Vegas brought about a tie she never would get rid of. The audio was awesome along with the book.”
5 Stars! “Michelle does an amazing job once again. I love the MacGregor warlocks and look forward to their stories every time they come out. Their family antics and dynamics never fail to make me laugh in the strangest of places. I cannot wait to read more of their stories.”

I enjoyed reading this book, the storyline is entertaining and filled with humor and adventure. The interaction and chemistry between the characters is wonderful. I can’t wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
I enjoyed this book. I thought at first I would not like the character but as I’ve read the book I was drawn deeper and deeper into the story until I read it until the end
From the beginning I became immersed into the drama and events unfolding. Total mind capture as I read about the youngest and only girl of the MacGregor warlock clan, Malina. Her obsession with Dar, a Luck Demon spins a tail that is felt with the heart. Does she want him or doesn’t she want him? Why is she trying to forget? What is she trying to forget? The mysteries surrounding the assistance of her eldest brother Niall keep this story alive with intrigue. I loved it. I’m so glad Malina and Dar were able to communicate and work their differences out.

Gosh, you have to love Malina. I honestly think that she has been very hard done by. She was sent away while very young from the family for centuries and yet they expect her to act as though she had been brought up with all strict traditions, understandings and and ways of those who were deeply ensconced and surrounded by that same family the whole time. The sacrifices that allowed her to survive are never forgotten and the guilt, which is not her fault at all, has been something she has lived with ever since. Her brother Niall calls her selfish and heartless and yet she has more heart than they ever realise. Knowing what things there are in the world and even given the life she has been she longs to see the good in others. She prefers to believe in optimism and hope rather than their opposites. Niall is used to railroading people and he does just that when he finds Malinda and her latest, in his mind, mistake Dar. Dar is a good luck demon and he is definitely down on his luck the evening that he meets Niall. He is put in the boot/trunk of a car and when the lid is opened he is bound, basically burnt alive and sent to hell. He has had to restore himself to the body that he once had and now he is back to get revenge and answer the burning, no pun intended, question that now rules his life… why did Malinda do this to him?
A fun premise with quirky characters; Warlock Malina and Luck Demon Dar fell in love years ago, but Malina acted very poorly when she found out Dar was a demon. With the help of her close-minded brother, Malina chose to kill Dar instead of believing how she felt; it turns out she jumped to the wrong conclusions and was an idiot. Luckily, Dar made it out of the Underworld, but unfortunately for Malina, he is rightfully ticked about what Malina did to him. Dar sets out to get revenge on Malina and her family; good thing Dar isn’t completely out for blood. Interesting scenarios; goblins, leprechauns and such make for a fun story. Things take a little too long to progress in the romance department, but there’s sweet moments. Malina isn’t the greatest; let’s her family rule too much, but she’s okay. Dar is a sweetie. Enjoyed the read!
Malinas family are Scottish warlocks. She didn’t grow up with them because she was shipped to England during the witch hunt. They call her the English rose and she doesn’t like it. She doesn’t fit in and she has a history of bad choices in men. But her worst choice is the man she married who has come back to get his revenge. Good book, I haven’t read the others in the series.
Amazing! Such a great book! I’m so glad I had the opportunity to read this book. I would definitely recommend it! I can get enough of this author.

The fourth book in the Warlocks MacGregor series a well written story that kept me turning pages. Malina MacGregor a warlock and Darragh “Dar” Lahey a luck demon’s story is action packed with secrets and twists and turns. The story was well worth reading.
I really enjoyed this book! It was fast paced and flowed nicely. The turn of events was done beautifully, and the ending was terrific! This is a fun and exciting paranormal romance! I liked it!! It has drama and steam, with very likable characters.

Its a story with potential, but unfortunately I dont think it will quite come out. Malina comes from a family of witches and warlocks. About 60 years ago she met a demon in Las Vegas, but the meeting didntt quite go well and her brother Niall was forced to kill the demon Dar. Today Malina lives with her family in Wisconsin. Strange things have been happening lately. It turns out that Dar hadn’t died and hes now come back for revenge. Only, do they both know what really happened then? I like the concept, but the execution is not successful in this story. Its messy, unclear, too many characters running around. Not a clear line, a lot of repetition, the characters do not come to life, the romance is not convincing. Im sorry, because I always really enjoy writing this writer, and I think the idea for the story is good, it had the potential to be a fun entertaining story.

In the grand scheme of life, especially when you are immortal, what is 60 years? But when feelings and emotions are involved, and family heritages don’t mesh, and trouble strikes, maybe it’s not long enough! Luck demon, witch, ghosts, leprechauns and more weave their version of crazy throughout this story. Will what happened in the past affect the future? Will luck finally run out? Or will happy have a chance?
Another great story in a wonderful series. I enjoyed this story and I loved the humor and crazy that is this family. I recommend for anyone that enjoys a great paranormal romance! Happy Reading!

A life destroyed because family knows best, several years later finding the truth and realizing that the love was true and the only way to keep it was to fight for it

couldn’t make it through 2 chapters.
A few things not finished off/answered.
Okay, hoped for more from Malina’s book but I have to say childish sums her up.
What she allowed Niall to do to her HUSBAND was diabolically bad, and they have the cheek to say demons are evil after what they have done to Charlotte.
Liked Dar and wished he could have been free of her. Especially as he is controlled by his ring. What happens if Malina is not around to uncommand something said to him. Worrying.
No real romance between these two, they don’t even really know each other. Just old hurts, regrets and vengeance on Dar’s part.
Right at the start of this book they have Malina knowing about her Aunt Elspeth sacrificing her life for Malina when she was a baby, (Their beloved Aunt Elspeth had sacrificed herself so that Malina could live. The family liked to remind her of that fact as well.) but in the previous book they state there is no need for her to ever know.
Niall was as big an ass as in previous books, really don’t like him but Uncle Raibert was brilliant.
A few errors made it through proofing.
Read through my library.
I LOVED this book! The only bad part was how sad I was when it was over. I listened to the audiobook. This is one of the best narrators. The whole thing was so magical. I loved all the characters and couldn’t get enough of the sexy accents. Michelle Pillow has one of the best authors!
