Settling down and starting a family is something Diesel has considered, regardless of his one-night stand reputation. However, he just might be single forever since who he wants is off-limits—his best friend’s little sister.
He’s been in love with her for years, but betraying his friendship could ruin everything.
Rowan Bishop is over men, especially after finding out her boyfriend cheated and … boyfriend cheated and left her heartbroken. After graduating from college, she’s back home and has to face the one guy who purposely gets under her skin—her older brother’s best friend.
She hates that she’s attracted to him, but she’s willing to fight for who she wants.
Spending time together is a bad idea, but neither can deny the chemistry sizzling between them. Late night talks turn into spontaneous adventures and just when Rowan’s willing to admit how she truly feels, Diesel’s past catches up with him and ruins their picture perfect romance.
One secret turns into another and before either can grasp their new reality, more truths unravel—threatening to expose their forbidden relationship.
Catching the Cowboy is a complete standalone and can be read without reading any of the other books or series, but if you prefer to read in order, start with Hitching the Cowboy as the characters and families do interconnect.

Great Read! I couldn’t put this one down. I loved the humor is on this one. It was one of my favorite parts of the book. Man did Diesel make me fall in love with him right off the bat. That man is going to make you swoon. It made me wish I could find a Diesel of my own. I’m a big fan of brother’s best friend/best friend’s little sister. This book was right up my alley. Plus I love the Bishop family so whenever I can revisit them the better. It’s Rowan Bishop’s turn and Diesel has her in his sights. This is a book you have to make sure that you have uninterrupted reading time to dig into. Trust me you’re going to gobble this one right up! I loved the set up for the next book and can’t wait for it!
Just when Diesel thinks he’s finally got the girl of his dreams, his best friend’s sister, Rowan, a bomb is dropped on him that threatens to ruin their budding relationship, while at the same time, change his life in so many positive ways. Can Diesel and Rowan weather this new storm, or will she go back to hating him like she did for so much of their growing up years?
I gotta tell you, Diesel is one swoony, cocky guy! The way he was in love with Rowan since he was barely a teen, and pined over her for all those years, so freaking sweet. Sometimes I wanted to smack Rowan for being so oblivious, so mean at times, but at least she finally took her head out of her ass and let Diesel in. Catching the Cowboy is sweet, sexy and fun and has a hot cowboy, what more could you ask for in a good love story?
This might be my favorite Bishop Family book! Diesel and Rowen’s story is everything! I loved Diesel and all his cockiness. He is definitely hawt and swoony! But my girl Rowen can hold her and dish right back. Their chemistry is off the charts and their back and forth had me cracking up. It has the perfect balance of angst and steam. I thoroughly enjoyed it and didn’t want it to end! Can’t wait for more of Circle B Ranch!
Back to the Bishop family and oh how this story did not disappoint. Rowan is the little sister to Diesel’s best friend and per big brother Diesel is not allowed to have her. Diesel has been in love with her since childhood but headed the warning and when Rowan comes back from college all bets are off. The tension and banter between the two had me laughing out loud and the chemistry was off the charts. I found Rowan’s character to be endearing and someone I wanted to be besties with while Diesel was the perfect alpha with the soft under belly for his love.
I truly could not put this story down and found myself with a smile almost the whole way through (except for when things go south as they are supposed to in a story). This book had all the feels and tugged on my heart strings cheering them on the entire time. Will they be able to make it work with the secrets that are hidden????
There is nothing sexier than a dirty talking, HOT, cowboy! Diesel made me smile though the whole book, especially with his interactions with Rowan. I loved the chemistry and banter between them. You really feel the emotions while you are reading, Kennedy Fox is really good at that. It one of the reasons I love their books. The secondary characters were great too and really added to the story. Just enough drama to keep it interesting but not over done.
The writing was fantastic and I love that this is part of a interconnected series but can totally be read as a standalone. Definitely would recommend!!

There’s a reason (or 40) that cowboy novels are so popular. Cowboys are sexy, chanting and they know how to work for something! In Catching the Cowboy, there wasn’t much catching to be done, since the boy has been in love with the girl since 8th grade! But Rowan leads Deisel a merry chase in this enchanting story in the Circle B series.
There’s so much to love about this series but none more than the Bishop’s themselves. They are a fantastic family and they keep growing! You’ll love this latest charming tale!

This is just what I needed 🙂
easy to ready, page turner, smooth, swoon
I think Diesel is my fave new generation, he simply win my heart over… his determination and devotion in anyway is unquestionable. When he knows he knows.
Rowan is an equal to Diesel. Spitfire. Witty and lovely.
Congratulations Kennedy Fox this is by far my favourite Circle B ranch but I feel it needed more …or is that me being greedy and wanting more of Diesel and Rowan
Loved it
Diesel has always been a one night stand kind of man. He has a crush on his best friend’s sister Rowan. Rowan doesn’t want to be attracted to Diesel but she can’t seem to help herself. She caught her ex cheating on her and is done with men. Once Rowan ends up back in town, the couple end up talking and then on to romance. Secrets from Diesel’s past threaten to tear them apart and expose their undercover love to Rowan’s brother. A wonderful sexy read.
Circle B Ranch is the place I want to be and this best friend’s sister romance had everything I needed! Diesel and Rowan are an amazing couple and I LOVED their story. The chemistry, the banter, and the overall story just grabbed me from chapter one all the way until the end of their story! Diesel and Rowan brought all the feels in their story and I highly recommend reading it!
We’re back with the Bishop’s at the Circle B Ranch, full of hot sexy cowboys! This is Diesel and Rowan’s story, and I’ve been looking forward to this one as when we first met Diesel he was portrayed as a out and out playboy just out for the one night stands, but he turns out to be a one-woman cowboy!
Rowan is Riley’s sister, Diesel’s best friend, and he has been in love with her forever. He has always watched out for her and protected her, but they have a love/hate relationship, always pushing each others buttons and saying some nasty and spiteful things to each other. But that is what they have always done since in their teens, little does Rowan know just how much she really means to Diesel. He has always said that Rowan is the one for him, but no one has ever taken him seriously, while Riley has always threatened to kill him if he hurts his sister!
Their relationship only starts to blossom when Rowan returns back to the family ranch after finishing college. Diesel is determined to get the girl this time and it’s only now that Rowan can see just how serious Diesel really is, but doesn’t know how to take it, having just got out of a relationship with a cheating ex.
These two are really cute together and it’s all systems go when Rowan does realise just how much she wants Diesel, it seems to take off fast but then have known each other years!
But just as their relationship starts, Diesel’s playboy past catches up with him, turning his life upside down and threatening his new relationship with Rowan.
A great read with plenty of characters you know from previous books along with plenty of new ones as well, keeping the family loyalty and tradition theme going.
I utterly adored Adam “Diesel” Hayes and Rowan Bishop’s 4.5 stars story! Their history stems from their childhood and they are always bickering and bantering with one another. The constant backlash they throw at each other over the years had me LOL. Little did they know there was an underlying reason for their behavior and one that neither could not admit too because the girl/woman that Diesel has been pinning for is his best friend’s little sister, Rowan and throughout their friendship with Riley he was told that Rowan is off limits.
Diesel has a reputation for one night stands and noncommittal relationships. Rowan has had her heart broken by her cheating ex. As much as they desire to settle down with the whole family pictured their past has them holding back for more. Then Diesel sees his best friend happy and the itch to settle down is in his blood. He is determined to make Rowan his and proof to her that he is the one for her and always has been.
When Diesel and Rowan finally admit to their feelings they agree to keep things on the down low for the time being. However, as they are ready to officially announced their relationship to their family and friends, secrets and unexpected surprises are revealed. The challenge is whether that will end this strong connection they have going or do the right thing and face them together as one?
This best friend’s sister forbidden romance will have you swooning throughout the read and have you wanting to have a cowboy of your own.
I love coming back to the Bishop family, it’s like going back to see your relatives you haven’t seen in a while. Catching the Cowboy was no different. This series feels like home, and now the fam has filled us all in on the dirty details on Rowan & Diesel!
This was a charming brothers best friend romance. Riley Bishop’s is Diesels best friend, and also big brother to Rowan. With Diesel always a around working on the ranch, Rowan practically grown up with him. She’s used to his annoying antics and remarks which causes a sort of frenemies relationship. Eventually the antics become more and more flirtatious as they get older and feelings start to reveal themselves. The biggest problem for the two is betraying Riley.
I adored these two together. They were fun and exciting. Their sexual chemistry was insane, I particularly enjoyed their dirty texts. Rowan was fierce and dominant. She walks the walk and talks the talk, a true Bishop woman who can dish out just as good as she takes.
While Diesel we met him in the first book as an unrelenting play boy, no relationships and no commitments, Or so we thought. This book showed such a different side to him. He was sweet, romantic, genuine. He is super serious when he jokes about marrying Rowan one day. Now he’s just gotta get her on the same page.
There was such a crackle of energy between the characters, even with some hurdles in their way they had so much strength as a couple and I loved their connection. I also loved seeing all the cousins grown up. Especially Maize and Kenzie, these girls are firecrackers, I really can’t wait to see what is in store for them!

I fell in love with Rowan and Diesel when I read Catching The Cowboy! Their story was amazing. The book had me hooked from the very beginning and I could not put it down! I finished the book in only a couple of hours. I will be counting down until the next book in the series is released!!!
Kennedy Fox can do no wrong in my eyes. Each time they release a new book, I know I am in for a good romance. With dreamy characters and heart wrenching moments.
I was immediately hooked with the Circle B Ranch Series. Give me cowboys and the Texas life I am sold. Being born and raised in East Texas, I love to read stories in my home state. And there is nothing more delicious than a southern man let me tell you. And KF, know how to write them so well. I already have a rag at the ready to collect my drool haha.
“One day, I’m going to make her mine, and I’ve been telling Riley that since we were kids, even if he’s been warning me to stay away from her for that long too.”
But seriously, they ruin me for all other men. Catching the Cowboy was such a fun angsty read. Diesel has always been in love with Rowan. They grew up together but she’s always been his best friends sister. Off limits. And everyone knows Diesel is a player and will only break her heart. But with Rowan moving back on the ranch after her boyfriend cheated on her, Diesel knows he’s in for a world of hurt.
Finishing college and finding out her boyfriend cheated on her is the last thing Rowan expects to happen in her life. But now she’s back living with her family, helping her Uncle’s with the saloon and avoiding her brothers best friend at all costs. Though that doesn’t always work when you live in a small town, he’s your brother’s best friend, and you secretly like him.
“Flirting with Rowan might be a death wise from Riley, but damn, she’s more than worth the risk.”
This story is so fun and full of heart racing angst. I found myself reading this book in one sitting. Just not being able to put it down until I got to the very last page. Trust me…you will not be disappointed. Rowan and Diesel are ready to take you on a wild ride.
Cowboy Take Me away! Y’all know Diesel is one swoon worthy cowboy if he’s got me channeling my inner Dixie Chicks!
Catching The Cowboy did not disappoint! Diesel is Riley’s best friend, and when you meet him in Hitching The Cowboy he comes off as a playboy. He reminded me of Jackson….But I just KNEW there was more to him. In Catching The Cowboy, we see a whole other side of Diesel. A swoony, funny, romantic side. No one took him seriously everytime he confessed his love for Rowan, Riley’s little sister. They wrote him off as joking but he was serious and his pining and playful banter was my favorite.
Diesel and Rowan were so cute together. Once Rowan truly SAW Diesel they didn’t waste anymore time. Brother’s Best Friend is one of my favorite tropes, and Catching The Cowboy hits every mark. There’s witty banter, sweet childhood memories, an adorable couple who finally gest together, swoon worthy romance, a few surprises along the way and of course the Bishop family- who always leave me with a smile!
From start to finish, this book was nothing but fabulous! I love revisiting Circle B Ranch, and seeing couples from previous Kennedy Fox books. Their family dynamic is one I adore, and I’ve been so excited to see the next generation of Bishops find love. I can’t wait for more!
We are back at Circle B Ranch and those delicious cowboys we all know and love . Kennedy Fox never fall to deliver the super sweet and steamy from the Bishop’s and this current book in the series is no different. I absolutely loved Diesel he turned out to be a totally different character than I was expecting when I read Hitching the Cowboy. This story is very heartfelt. The best friends little sister who is off limits but has always been his ONE.
Catching the Cowboy follows the story Rowan Bishop how has just returned home from college to help run her uncle’s bar and Adam ‘Diesel’ Hayes, her brother RILEY’S best friend. These characters had a love/hate relationship well on Rowan’s side anyway. They have known each other forever and Diesel has always managed to get under her skin and drive her nuts. This leaves Rowan with blinders on. Totally oblivious to what Diesel is actually trying to accomplish between the two. If it was down to him, Rowan would have always been his and he wouldn’t have wasted so many years getting his player reputation.
Rowan has been hurt in the past and has trust issues with men. So when Diesel’s advances become more forward she has no idea what to do. Just ending a relationship Rowan is sceptical about beginning a new one so soon but Diesel is persistent.
What blossoms between these two is extremely sweet and grows into a steamy secret relationship they want to keep to themselves for now. Diesel is a bulldozer intent on making Rowan see the man he could gave always been, just for her if given the chance.
However soon the past comes back to bite them. Is it possible for such a new relationship to survive the shocking revelations or were they always doomed from the start
Life on Circle B Ranch, there is never a dull moment
Where do I begin? Diesel & Rowan were amazing!! Their chemistry was off the charts. Their story was full of passion, fun, drama, and love. Rowan is feisty, fun, and independent. Diesel is sexy, charming, charismatic and not at all difficult to fall for. The back & forth banter between these two was so fun and entertaining, I found myself laughing out loud several times. There was some drama, but what good is a romance without some drama??!? It was a beautiful love story that I enjoyed so much!! Kennedy Fox delivers another awesome book to fall in love with!!!
I have read all of Kennedy Fox’s books and I have to day this one doesn’t disappoint at all. I wanted to know Diesel’s story since I meet him in Hitching to the Cowboy.
Diesel and Rowan have know each other since they were small and Diesel has been in love with her ever since. While she finally realize what is right in front of her.
I swear this relationship had me up all night trying to finish the book. The relationship between the them had me smiling and crying. This book is worth every moment.
Yessssss. This book was soook great!
Diesel. Man, he’s awesome.
An alpha-clown if you will… meaning. All man. Possessive (in a good way) but can laugh at the same time!
Rowan! Love her heart!
Mix in some unexpected hurdles. The best friend sister. ‘Enemies’ to more. With EXCELLENT writing. You’ve got a phenomenal story!!!
Highly recommend
Kennedy Fox
Oh the chemistry in this one!!! The chemistry between Diesel and Rowan was incredible! I loved the hot and cold she threw at him. But what I loved even more was Diesel’s honesty. He knew he loved her and she was it and he went for it. There were some surprises thrown in that kept the story exciting and I enjoyed getting to reunite with old family members as well. Diesel definitely takes one of my top spots for favorite Bishop cowboy. I can’t wait for the next book!
