** A 2019 RITA® FINALIST ** From the New York Times bestselling author of The Blueberry Lane series comes a new trio (and one novella!) of romances featuring the Haven triplets! Finian Kelley and Tate Jennings met at a wedding… wedding last fall, where they agreed to be physical with no strings attached, Tate Jennings can’t get him out of her head. So when an invitation arrives at her Florida condo, inviting Tate to spend St. Patrick’s Weekend back at Summerhaven where Finian works, she can’t resist heading up to New Hampshire for the festivities.
Having just gotten out of an awesomely bad relationship, Finian Kelley has sworn off romance, which is why it’s good that hottie Tate Jennings lives far away in the Florida Keys. They may have fooled around at Rory’s wedding, but at least they have no future together, right?
Wrong. When an annual celebration brings Tate back to New Hampshire, will Finian be able to stay away from the woman who’s already made an unwanted impression on his heart?
Return to Summerhaven one last time for this sweet, sultry, summer novella!

Liked the story. Especially because it gives us more time with all the Haven siblings and their loved ones. I loved Finian. I liked Tate but most of the time found her cold and abrasive. I disliked how she was determined to push everyone away. I get her pain and loss of her family but she was detached to the extreme. I don’t like how mean she was to Fin. Yes she was up front but she was so rude when any emotion resembling humanity was shown. Thank god for him. His dirty mouth and crass responses suited her demeanor. I just think he should have made her work for it more when she came back for St Patrick’s day. Loved the epilogue-esk letter from the author giving us a glimpse into the future with all the havens.
Katy Regnery! Well done! Loved the series and how you brought two people who weren’t looking for Love together.
Finian and Tate’s story was a fun read! I also appreciate the note at the end to wrap up everyone’s story! Tears of joy!
Catching Irish was the perfect way to round out the Summerhaven series. I fell in love with the Haven triplets and their cousin Finian was just as lovable.
He and Tate shared a quick, very passionate and deep connection but neither are in the right place for something more. Though they know bone deep there is something there, commitment is something that has always been off the table…but the weekend of Rory and Brittany’s wedding sets off a spark that causes a slow but deep burning ache within them both. Fin is so intuitive to the inner workings of Tate that he knows giving voice to that ache would only scare her off, so he does the opposite. This in turn forces Tate to re-evaluate herself and her feelings for the “fling” that should mean a thing to her.
For a quick story, Fin and Tate’s take was beautiful. Filled with fear of heartbreak but a sense of hope it had everything a love story should have. And their flaws gave life to a realistic quality that made it all that much greater to experience.
I have loved Katy Refinery’s writing from the first book I read of hers and I have been a fan of hers and her characters ever since. Her writing style always leaves me feeling light and refreshed with a sense of renewed hope that HEAs like hers could be real. She will always be my go-to author for when I want that feel good love story.
*A copy of this book was gifted to me from the author and I freely give my honest review*
Last story in the Summerhaven Series, sweet and hot and as always a story I couldn’t put down.
Tate is not going to fall in love but Fin has a way of crawling under her skin and in to her heart.
* Good storyline and it’s great to read about the other well known characters
* No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings and a good amount of dialogues
* The chemistry between Tate and Fin is well described and the author’s writing style is making it realistic to me.
* Tate’s emotional baggage is to much for her to carrying around and I love how Fin gets her to open up.
* Love scenes is steaming hot but also sweet and loving.
This was a short story but a very good one. 5
Short, sexy, and fun with surprising depth. Catching Irish is a sparkling conclusion to the Summerhaven series. Tate and Finian are mature adults finding lasting love after a temporary fling. I like the realness and honesty of their approach to their attraction, no coyness or silly games. I love the visit with family and friends and the short trip to Dublin. Engaging story with likable characters. Brought a smile to my face and tears in my eyes.
One of my favorite series that I just can’t seem to get enough of. The way the author writes, I just love her style and that’s just one of the many things I love about her and why she’s one of my favorite authors. It was a short sexy story that’s definitely worth the read!
Tate isn’t looking for a relationship but only is only in for one-night stands. She doesn’t let anyone close to her and runs for the hills when they get too attached. Now she’s in Summerhaven for a wedding, she’s looking for the next fling and when she meets Finian, there’s something about him that makes her feel more but she immediately lets him know where she stands and that he shouldn’t get attached.
Finian isn’t looking for a new relationship and when he first lays eyes on Tate, sparks fly between them and although he knows she doesn’t want anything more, he can’t help but fall for her. Things get heated between them and when it’s time to say goodbye, it’ll depend on Tate whether or not she’s finally willing to take a chance… on love…
Tate & Finian are a wonderful addition to the Summerhaven series. Sexy, instant attraction, and sizzling. Finian and Tate are the perfect storm. Finian is just coming off a grade one klingy relationship and Tate is looking for a bit of no commitment fun .
A wedding is the perfect place to set the mood, their immediate attraction and no strings agreement seem to be fitting for both . Until fate and the heart take over . The seemly innocent weeding hookup has now taken them both by surprise!
I loved how Tate wanted to try to be non committed and play it cool she is a enigma to Finian. It was as though the shoe was on the other foot in this relationship or lack there of ! The moment Finian realizes that she really just wants to have sex and nothing else the amusement that he actually feels used , something he has never experienced before.
A quick sexy fun read !

Catching Irish is a novella. It is a super quick read but doesn’t skip the emotional kick from these characters.
Tate lost her parents at a very young age and she has scars that still flare up when she gets too emotionally close to anyone.
Finian, a Haven cousin visiting from Ireland, thought he was looking for a hot and dirty vacation fling.
“…it turned out he wanted something considerably deeper than Tate was willing to offer. With the right girl, he wanted the possibility of love. He wanted the possibility of commitment. He even wanted the possibility of forever.
Love. Commitment. Forever.”
In Catching Irish, we get Fin and Tate’s beautiful story, but we also get to catch up with the Haven family. As a treat the author also adds a little note at the end giving a little more of all of our favorite Summerhaven characters.
I love this series and just hate to see it end!
-5 Stars!-
CATCHING IRISH: A Summerhaven Novella is Book 4 in the Summerhaven Trio Series. Sadly it is the final book in the series, too! It is the story of Finian Kelley and Tate Jennings. They met and had a weekend hook-up at the wedding of Fin’s cousin Rory Haven to Brittany Manion. The wedding took place at Summerhaven. Neither started out with romance on their minds, but the attraction was evident to both. But it was Tate’s reluctance to have it become a relationship of any kind left Fin lonely and hurt, and no contact at all for four long months.
Tate was one of the few female charter boat captains in the Florida Keys. She had learned the trade from her Uncle. He had raised her since the death of her parents when she was only eight years of age. Fin was an Irish cousin come over to help with work at Summerhaven. He had just gotten out of a bad relationship in Ireland, so had sworn off romance. But when Tate gets an invitation to spend Saint Patrick’s weekend at Summerhaven where Fin works, well, she can’t help but want to go back. The way she had left things might be fixed and this time they may have an amiable closure. If she were being honest with herself she would admit she missed him, and looked forward to seeing him again. Fin had very mixed feelings when he learned that after four long months of silence, Tate would be coming back up to New Hampshire for the festivities. He admitted to himself that he had been taken with the platinum-blonde beauty at first sight. He didn’t appreciate that when he had wanted to have more then just that weekend of the wedding, Tate had been ice cold about their parting. He had a plane ticket back to Ireland on March 20th, and he planned to be on that plane. All he had to do was avoid Tate this weekend. Too bad he was the one assigned to pick her up at the airport. That would make it next to impossible to stay out of each others way.
When I came to “The End” of this book, I thought “OH! NO!” But Katy Regnery does give us A LETTER FROM KATY. It gives us closure for all four of the Summerhaven books:
1) FIGHTING IRISH (Rory & Brittany)
2) SMILING IRISH (Tierny & Burr)
3) LOVING IRISH (Ian & Hallie)
4) CATCHING IRISH (Fin & Tate)
All the Havens are doing great and that is what you call a Very Happy Ending!
Catching Irish felt like a decadent treat that will absolutely delight fans of the fantastic Summerhaven series. It’s quick, a bit dirty, and packed full Ms. Regnery’s sort of signature desperate romance that sweeps me away – every book, every time. I loved Fin and Tate’s story!
This is a novella, so things heat up (er, literally) quickly and keep that pace for the entirety of the story. That is to say, there’s a bit of insta-love going on here, but if anyone can pull that off? It’s Ms. Regnery. She has a way with words, a gift for storytelling, and some sort of romantic sorcery that I am certain I will never get enough of. The physical chemistry between Fin & Tate takes front seat in this story, but there are plenty of emotional and swoony moments to allow me to invest in their whirlwind little love story – and invest I did. I loved how quickly they got under each other’s skin, and I especially loved watching Tate shed that tough outer shell and allow this beautiful, soulful man into her heart. It’s lovely. It’s rewarding. It’s everything I have come to expect from a Katy Regnery story.
Icing on the cake (and arguably my favorite thing about this story)? Ms. Regnery provides updates on all of the Summerhaven couples at the end of the novella. It’s lighthearted and adorable and it made my heart so very happy. It perhaps comes as no surprise that this series was a string of five star reads – I adored every minute, every couple, and every flutter it set upon my heart.
I didn’t know I needed this book until I read it. I was perfectly happy with where we’d left everyone in Loving Irish, but once I started reading Catching Irish (and especially once I finished it) I knew this was the closure the series – and its characters – deserved.
Catching Irish was a quick, sweet read. I quickly fell in love with Finian and Tate and enjoyed their blunt honesty about what they wanted and the limitations they were each bringing into their arrangement. They had great chemistry and their personalities complemented each other well.
Seeing Katy Regnery turn traditional relationship expectations on its ear in this book was refreshing. Finding out why Tate was as guarded and reluctant to even contemplate a serious relationship was heartbreaking. She was so strong in the other areas of her life, so it made her loss so much more poignant.
I loved how Ms. Regnery tied up the series with this book. It was a great way to check in on the couples we already knew and loved, as well as getting an extra shot of romance in a really fun way.
5 Star Review Catching Irish (The Summerhaven Trio #4) by Katy Regnery
This is the fourth and final book in this series and it was just as good as all the others.
When Finian Kelley and Tate Jennings met at a wedding sparks flew and they agreed to no strings attached fun. However, not all goes to plan and Tate finds herself thinking of Finian and wanting more.
When an opportunity arises which will lead her back to Summerhaven and Finian Tate she jumps at the chance.
When Tate returns, will Finian be able to stay away or will their explosive chemistry burn bright?
Catching Irish was a beautifully written, romantic story and all in all this made for a great read that I highly recommend and it truly deserves the 8 stars I am giving it.
This was a short but wonderful read which ticked all the boxes. I loved that at the end of the book Ms.Regnery included an update on all of the previous couples, tying it all up neatly.
Although sad to know that this is the last book in this particular series, I cannot wait to see what Katy Regnery has for us next.
Catching Irish reminded me of my favorite song. I got lost in the moment. Tate and Fin are like a catchy melody stuck on repeat in my head. The words are embedded and your heart is lost before you realize what’s happening. When a heart finds it’s match it never let’s go. No matter what the odds, Regnery reminds us that true love is worth fighting for. Love is a gift and this series is a treasure inspired by that gift. Loved it.
