A sweet and short novel in which the BFF find their love for each other.
Where Aviana has known for 7 years that she is in love with her boyfriend, Xavier has more trouble putting his feelings for Ana into words. Friends since they were 8 years old, he knows he loves her, but is he in love with her too?
Everyone in both families has something to say about it but both opinions are opposed. Lots of humor from both characters. I love that the difference between the two families is noticeable in language

Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters are unique. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough with twists and turns hot and steamy like a rollercoaster ride of emotions that makes you want more with feelings, desires, passion and lust, erotic sweetness, sensational pleasures and heat from arousal.

This is a wonderful an charming story Aviana an Xavier have been best friends forever. She’s head over heels for him and he doesn’t have a single clue.
I truly feel for Aviana and her plight but one wonders if a 2×4 would have helped
her more in getting his attention.

This was my first book by these authors and I really enjoyed the story, I will definitely be on the look out for future books from them!
Aviana and Xavier have been friends since they were kids and Aviana has been in love with him since she was 16 years old. They both just graduated college and are preparing to head off into the real world at the end of summer. Xavier will be going over seas with the Dr.’s without borders program and Aviana is considering multiple job options through out the US. When she finally confesses her feelings for Xavier she knows she is risking their friendship but suddenly he is willing to try. As summer winds down Xavier will finally have to make a decision about how he feels for Aviana and what their future will hold.
This story was so cute y’all! I loved Xavier and Aviana so much! They came from different backgrounds and social statuses but they maintained their friendship through it all. He always was looking out for her and trying to offset the negativity her mother brought into her life, which trust me… that woman seems like the absolute worst! I loved all the other supporting characters, especially Mama Isa… I would read a book about that woman!
I definitely recommend this book if you are looking for a sweet friends to lovers story.

This sweet friends to lovers story was well written with characters that were so well detailed that as I turned each and every page I felt like the characters pulled me right into their story as it unfolded!
Xavier and Aviana had an amazing bond as best friends, but they have such chemistry that will make the reader ask why they haven’t already gotten together. As someone whose heart truly belongs in New Orleans, I loved how the authors made the reader feel right at home in their surroundings. I adored Mama Isa’s character and this book is exactly what I think of when I think of a friends-to-lovers romance. I wouldn’t complain had it been longer.

I just love these Authors, make for a quick read. After moving to New Orleans Aviana was the new white girl in town. Even though Xavier is of color, they make friends quickly. They have been friends for years, even went to the same College so they could be together. Xavier has a family member that speaks Creole & runs a restaurant. She also can feel/see when things are happening almost like a psychic. Mama ISA is Old school lady. She keeps telling both Xavier & Aviana to show their true feelings. While on break after College they are home & one night after a night of drinking, Aviana lets it known she is in love with Xavier. Xavier is not sure how to response. Even though he has feelings her but LOVE that’s another thing. Neither one care about their backgrounds. They care about the love they share with each other. MAMA ISA WAS RIGHT. True love is in the air for these two.
This is a sweet friends to lovers romance with strong characters in Aviana and Xavier. It’s well written, moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading. My only thought was it could have been even better had it been longer and more in depth.
