This is a great read. The story was well developed and I loved the characters, though I do agree with another reviewer that the h was annoying in her reticence, to me it made it a bit more believable.
Will favourite this author and I cross fingers her other stuff is as good…. I’m really looking forward to Bangers story!

Overall, Catching Callie was a super cute summer romance. The characters are fun and sassy – the dialogue witty. Gabe and Callie fall for each other fast – definitely an instalove story. Both are going through a difficult time in their lives and are each other’s rock. Catching Callie has a great message of love, laughter, triumph, and pursuing your dreams. This was a quick and fun read and I’ll definitely be checking out more of Claire Woods’s books.

Callie and Gabe couldn’t seem to get it together. I am not sure why they had to have separate lives and couldn’t make it work. I was super frustrated that they loved each other so much but couldn’t figure out how to make it work until way later. Love isn’t about perfect timing and easy times, love is about working together when times are rough. I wish they would have pulled together more. The end was great but wish they wouldn’t have spent years apart.

I really enjoyed this college romance! I loved the characters!! I loved the story-line! I thought the chemistry between Callie and Gabe was off the charts!! I also liked the fact he was patient and wanted to wait until she was ready even though he was dying to make her his. She keeps running and eventually he wins her over. Gabe had a thought time that summer but I think everything he went through won him the prize in the end. I liked the secondary characters: Sophie and the DJ. I also love the support they both had. I thought the story was great!!!! It was very captivating and I could not put the story down!

I loved this story. Growing up in a tourist town myself, I know how Callie felt at first. The chemistry and connection that she and Gabe had was evident from the start. The pressures from life came crashing down and made them both step back and reevaluate their situations. Callie chose family and made sure that Gabe chose his career first. In the end though they came back to each other and it was the happily ever after they both deserved!!!

A well written book with well developed characters, a good storyline, enough drama, missteps, misunderstandings, it captivates you, takes you on an emotional rollercoaster, hot chemistry and of course a romance. Enjoy!

Callie and Gabe are perfect for each other. Even though they come from different worlds, they just make sense. This was such a cute story that made me fall in love with Gabe. All his cheesy lines kept on bringing a smile to my face. I loved reading how they fell in love but life also happens and they had to make some though choices. Gabe never lost hope even when Callie took a long while to realize her heart was where ever Gabe was. I didn’t want this story to end but i definitely loved the ending.

Wonderful, fun, interesting sports read. It was well written had a great storyline and great characters. Gabe is nothing like they wrote about him, well almost. He sees Callie and his world is turned upside down. Callie believes what she reads. Can Gabe change her mind? It is worth the read to find out. I received it as an arc and voluntarily reviewed it.
Gabe is hiding from the press involving a cheating scandal. While he’s laying low, he meets and falls for Callie.
A whole lot of crazy happens (stemming from his crazy jealous ex, Jackie) before they get close to a HEA.
I liked the way Gabe never gave up on their relationship and continued to make plans for their future even when they were apart.

A very entertaining read. I thought Callie and Gabe had great chemistry. With a fun plot that offers lots of drama, emotional turmoil and steaminess, this romance keeps you engaged and rooting for this couple.
I really enjoyed this book. I opened it and got lost in the words and the love story. I would totally recommend this book. I only have two criticisms to say about it though. I’m not going to give you any explicit spoilers but I will talk a little bit about the book details. Warning.
First off, it got confusing because the author would drop a different character into the conversation that you had no idea was in the vicinity. For example, you’re Reading the private thoughts happening inside in the female leads head. And then the next second she’s talking with her ex-boyfriend. where did he come from? Or the couple goes out for a day at the beach with the little brother. The paparazzi is attacking and the mother is crying. Where did the mother come from? I think the author need to Segway the characters in the scenes better so reader do not get lost.
In my opinion, the ending was rough. The male lead was such a loving man throughout the whole book and then the end just didn’t seem to fit with his persona. It actually didn’t seem to fit with the couple’s relationship at all..I know that life throws us a lot of curveballs and we get scared a lot, afraid to take a risk. But aren’t the greatest things in our life the ones we took the biggest risk to fight for? When you put out the hard work, you reap the rewards. It just didn’t seem right to take an extended leave to solve everything. Plus, I don’t necessarily buy into the faithful from afar theory.

Gabe and Callie had the world against them, from Callie’s mom’s health issues to Gabe’s celebrity status, and each trying to pursue their dreams. I thought Gabe was sweet in his pursuit of Callie, but I didn’t much care for Callie at times. While she carried the world on her shoulders when it came to her mom, she also seemed to act so immature at times, and I felt like she should have talked things out with Gabe more. Overall a good new adult/college romance.
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I really enjoyed reading this story about Callie and Gabe. It was an easy read that I couldn’t put down. Catching Callie is a fantastic college romance!
Gabe is absolutely amazing, as a star football player, constantly in trouble, but completely misunderstood. When a scandal causes him to hide away, he meets Callie, and he will do anything to catch her.
The two are so fun together, with great chemistry and some quick banter. Their story is riveting, with all sorts of realistic issues causing them issues.
The story is quick paced, well written and an all around enchanting romance. It contains deep characters who are well developed, flawed, yet so completely lovable. There is a psycho ex, paparazzi and national news outlets causing them issues.
I found myself captivated by Gabe and Callie’s relationship and could not put this book down., knowing at some point, they would be able to find happiness. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves romances with a hot college athlete.
Great beach/vacation read. If you enjoy the New Adult/College genre you’ll like this one.
Oh holy sweet goodness this book stole my heart! The level of sweet is off the charts in Catching Callie and I couldn’t get enough of it! I’m always looking to find a book that has that extra bit of sweet swoony perfection that steals my heart and I found it with this one. Seriously this book contains the ultimate swoony hero! Look no further, the ruler of all things swoon resides here in Catching Callie and his name is Gabe.
This man had me positively melting at how sweet, how romantic, how *happy sigh* everything he is. He fell fast and he fell hard and it was a thing of beauty to read. His worst day ever turns into the day his world changes in the best way when he crashes, quite literally, into Callie’s life. Then there’s Callie who, while I’m still incredibly jealous of her, is pretty dang awesome herself. Even being young she’s more responsible than most people twice her age. With a huge selfless heart she looks out for everyone she loves and the people she loves, she loves them fiercely.
Willing to sacrifice her happiness for any one of the people she holds dear there were moments my heart just shattered for her even with the sweetness that is her and Gabe’s love. Their story is what romance is all about and reminded why I love this genre so much.
This is an entertaining book with a sweet romance between Callie and Gabe who go through a lot of heartache along the way. The author brings drama and tons of emotion to the story line and keeps you reading to the end. I enjoyed the book.
