Third installment in the series.
Daphne is dealing with the effects of the spell that was cast in the last book. She turns to Mona and the 3 men in her life for help. During this time she also has to deal with an enemy trying to get her expelled.
A wonderful read on the dynamics of friends and family.

Daphne is having a bit of a problem with some effects of the spell she and her brother cast. She calls her brother, Heath, Bradley and Cade to try to figure things out. Oh, and she still has Emma trying to get her expelled and away from Heath. Working together they come up with a positive plan. I would like to know more about their family and why the spell book is locked away. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
This is the end of Daphne’s quirky side-adventure in the Obscure World. This picks up right around when the Catching a Wizard ended. They found it! Daphne and Ryan finally got their hands on the long lost family spell to transform into a cat. The spell was super simple, but what followed for Daphne was unexpected to say at the least. Side effects are the last thing on someone’s mind when they find what they’ve been searching for after so long…and Daphne paid the price. I would have loved to see some resolution for the side effects of the spell rather than just long term managing, though maybe it’ll come up in Mona’s future books. The guys all figure out how to play nice since they all love the same girl and make a reverse harem work. I didn’t really see any interest on her end in Cade though and it seemed kind of out of the blue when she declared feelings for them all/wanting them all. Overall all it was a good conclusion to the series and gave us a flash forward in the epilogue with some great dialogue.

Daphne is having side effects to the spell she cast. She doesn’t know what to do. She is just trying to get good grades, try to get closer to Heath again. When the features happen again, Health take her to Bradley to help her. Once they realize they need more help, all the men and her brother will step in to reverse it.
They all have a conversation to where they were ok with all of them dating her, if she was ok with it. She speaks with Heath and the others and realizes she is ok with it. Each one represents something to her, she would not be whole.
Emma decides that she can’t let Heath be happy with Daphne, so she is setting up a scheme to get Daphne out of the way completely.
It will be up to Daphne and her three men to get the proof that Emma did it or Daphne will have major problems
I like how they finally got together, but book was to short. I feel there is more to the story than what has happened. I am hoping for more books to explore the grimoire and her family magic.

*Spoiler Alert*
Emma (Heath’s so called fiance) decides she doesnt want Daphne (FMC) to get in the way of what she wants (Heath) and she’ll try anything to get rid of her including getting her expelled from Grimalkin Academy. As well as trying to stop her from getting her own way Daphne also has to contend with three guys – Heath, Cade and Bradley who are interested in her and maybe a problem she has with shapeshifting into a cat. So things are heating up nicely in book 3 of this series. Loving It!!

The third book is out and it was just as fun to read as the last 2. Between the side effects of the cat spell, girl and college angst and her love life, Daphne was even more of a hoot this time. I thought the ending was sweet and just liked the story. Especially as it was a clean RH story. Made me giggle.
Four people, one relationship. Hmmm! Daphne now has three wonderful caring boyfriends. But now Daphne has to stop the cat curse, and stop Heath’s jealous ex from getting Daphne expelled. She will need all of her friends to reverse the spell and stop Emma. I was given a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Figuring things out
This is the third book of this series and my understanding the last about the catacombs portion. The book has great characters and world building. The love triangle continues. And we got a jealous Female out for revenge. The one thing that made this a four star and not a five was that it’s more like a HFN ending not a HEA ending. Otherwise a good read as the third part of the series
