Fear… of worries.
What if I lost another person I love?
I’m not perfect. I’ve made mistakes. Running away won’t ever be one of them again though. I’m back at Spring Hill High to fight for the ones I love. Fight against a set of enemies that want to take everything I have away.
Well, we’ll just see about that, won’t we?
**You won’t want to miss this conclusion of the Spring Hill Blues series!

I love this conclusion to this duet. Running away is not going to get Briar anywhere, and as she comes to that realization so many different things happen. She is forced to deal with her fears, she and Reid grow ever closer, and she begins to realize that things can get better and be different. When the witch who shall not be named, brings in a quarterback from a different team to take Reid’s spot on the team, the group must work together to plot their revenge, and they do an amazing job with. This book will suck you in from the first words and keep you wanting more as you go through it. I loved the ending and definitely recommend this series to everyone.
I love, love, love this duet so much!! I’m so happy Briar and Reid got their HEA!! I hope to see these characters again in future series especially Jules, Cade and Lex.
Reid lies injured in a hospital bed, the quarterback that has navigated them all back together, waded through the grief of losing best friend Brady and now Briar has yet again to try to fight her way through her emotional pain anguish.
Briar has gain so much strength, despite all the Witch Sasha’s attempts so far to destroy everything.
Twists and Turns are still keeping us on our toes.
When it all becomes to much for Briar and she breaks, will Reid and the crew still be able to pull her through.
This was yet again an emotional rollercoaster and I loved that Brady’s influence and loss was still present for them all, I loved their growth at being able to keep talking about him and finding comfort.
Reid, Lex and Cade make a formidable team and I’d definitely want those boys on my side !!!
But the Evil Witch Sasha is still pulling no punches in her campaign to wreck everything for Briar and Reid !!! OMG i think she i most definitely the most physco female villian i’ve read in a long time !!!
I have really enjoyd this duet, it’s been a super read !!!
Holy Moley!
I absolutely freaking love Briar and Reid.
The strength and determination of these characters is utterly captivating.
Briar really starts healing and is willing to do pretty much anything to not lose any more people she loves.
The one thing I love is that she doesn’t do it alone and always tells her friends and Reid what is happening and trusts them all to have her back and help her solve the problems.
“I fucking love you, Briar. You don’t ever have to run away from me because as long as I have control, I swear I won’t let anything bad happen. I might’ve been trapped in my head, but I was fighting. I was fighting for us. I was fighting for you. I’ll always fight for you”
Absolutely loved this duet and am keeping my fingers crossed for Lex to get his own book in the future.
What a great Happily Ever After! I wasn’t sure how the story would wrap up. I expected a lot more suspense and action because of the build up. But this was more realistic, and I respect that.
This book continues to bring all the feelings out of my. From intense love, sadness, all the way to intense anger! I apologize to my book friend that got that anger as she recommended this duet lol.
The second book surpasses the first book as my favorite in the duet. I love this couple together and I need more from this world. I was not ready to leave them. Getting to see my favorite special guest was just a bonus.
Absolutely love this duet! It is a must read by EM Moore!
Oh. My. GAWD!
I can’t even begin to explain how much I positively loved this duet! It’s been days since I finished reading Catch Me and I still don’t have the right words to express how magnificent it was. I’m truly sad to have to say goodbye to Briar and Reid but that’s okay because I’ll still get to see Oscar as I plan to read The Heights Crew next! I’m so glad I decided to dive into E.M. Moore’s work. Truly am a fan for life now!
5 stars for Catch Me by E.M. Moore. This is the 2nd book in the Spring Hills Blues series . “It’s never when I’m with other people that’s the problem. It’s when I’m by myself. It’s when I’m lost in my own head. I can’t even trust myself. That is a scary a** feeling. The book picks up where Free Fall left us. I could not put it down. I had to know what would happen in the end. Let me just say I loved the conclusion. I love Briar and Reid as a couple. These two make each other better. I do want to hear more about Lex, Cam. Jules, and even Oscar. I am glad that Sasha got what she deserves. This was a great duet from E.M. Moore.
I’m rating this book at 3 stars because as well written as the book is, it seems like a completely different story from book one. It has the same characters, but this book is more of a high school drama rather then a bully book. The main couple from book one have very little angst (and what is there felt forced for plots sake) so the book felt stagnant and unnecessary. Most of this story was about the crazy ex-girlfriend and some random boy. In face I think those two had more “screen time” then the main characters did; and due to the fact that these were not the main characters I had no interest in reading their story. The ending was also to placid for me. This book just didn’t have the dynamics that book one had. Like I said, the book was good, as a standalone, but I didn’t feel it as the second book in a duet. I might read books about the other boys and their college adventures. Still happy to have read it, this is a great author, I look forward to want is next.
Book two started at the same place where book 1 left off. The story continues with Brair trying to deal with the death of her beloved brother and also being in a relationship with the Quarterback Reid. The book had a steady build to it and nothing surprisingly happened in it. I do feel there are some missed closure like for Lex and Oscar. I was team Lex from the beginning and hope finds some thing better for himself because he truly deserves it. I also want to know about Oscar. There is a feeling that I just can’t shake that he was Ezra from book 1 and somehow Sasha the jerk found out. I’m not sure if this is the last book or if we could be getting more answers for some characters. I guess time will tell,
Ugh why is it over?! I thouroughly enjoyed reading this series, and even though the second book wasn’t action packed it still kept me interested throughout the entire thing and I am even more invested then I was before! I just love the main characters relationship and I am happy to see everything come to a head! All in all it was a great conclusion to the series!
Must read
Another amazing book by E.M. Moore! This second book was great and I really hope it isn’t the conclusion of the Spring Hill Blues characters! I really want to see Lex, Case, and Jules get there happily ever after! I loved how muchBriar grew in this book and learned from her past mistakes. What can I say about Reid…he is an amazing alpha male with the best . The way these two characters grew together and would do anything to protect the each other just made me so happy. If you are looking for a good emotion filled story the dive into this series you won’t be disappointed!!
We pick up where book one ended with Briar in the hotel room I’m not going to get into details about that part. you’ll have to read the story to find out what happens she does get to go home. During the Journey of this book Reed and Briar’s relationship continue to grow as well as face some obstacles but during it all they stay strong together in stead of running away like she did in the past. I love seeing their relationship grow and also throughout the story you can still feel the loss ofBriar’s brother Brady but she and the other character’s don’t let it get the better of them. There are still things they have to deal with and obstacles the cross would they do it together. I couldn’t help the emotions going through me while reading this but one thing is for sure the true love between the two of them and how they work to make it work between the two of them they have all definitely grown in the story. Like somebody else had said above I would absolutely love more books in the series with some of the side characters. Also the ending was perfect this is another amazing book by this talented author and I can’t wait to see what’s to come from her.
Catch Me picks up right were Free Fall left off. (If you haven’t read book 1 then stop right here and go read it!) Briar continues to battle her demons by herself, and ends up getting herself into quite a mess.
The shock of losing her brother, gaining a boyfriend, and quickly becoming seen after always being I the background is more the enough for anyone to have to deal with. Add on psycho ex-girlfriend, and a friend who is in love with you is more then enough to send anyone into hiding. Briar continues to learn what a “new normal” is going to look like without her brother. I love that E.M. hits all of these feelings head on, and makes no apologies for making the reader experience everything right along with Briar.
I really would like to see what happens with some of the secondary characters down the road.
At this point this author is an automatic one-click pre-order without even needing to read the synopsis!
Love! Love! Love this book and the first!
E.M. Moore is a gifted author that writes exceptionally well and the topics that are brought up in this series are relatable and real. Especially the ways that grief Is portrayed, showing how much it affects the characters, especially with Briar and her parents.
And Oh My Lord! I want the boys, especially Reid as my boyfriend hahaha. I love the relationship between all the guys, but I do love Reid and Briar. This book wasn’t what I was expecting, it’s even better and such an exceptional read.
Read anything by E.M Moore, it’s always good and has you wanting Moore (see what I did there? But yep read it)
Catch Me is the conclusion to Freefall, the first book in this satisfying Bullymance Duet. I enjoyed all the characters in this entertaining read, but especially the secondary characters, Lex and Jules. I would love to see more from them. While EM Moore has become known for her RH stories and this series is not RH, it is still an excellent book. If you want a quick, enjoyable book, that wraps up with a nice epilogue, then you will find Catch Me hits the spot. 4 Fabulous Stars!
I was soooo excited for this book and it did not disappoint! Briar is still learning to cope with her brother’s death and we are along for the emotional ride with her. The support that Reid and their friends give her is amazing and I only fell more in love with Briar and Reid as a couple. The bond they have is beautiful. Would love to see the others get their happy endings as well 🙂 Catch Me is the perfect ending to this duet and highly recommend it!!
What a wild ride! Catch Me was one heck of a page turner. We get to see our favorite characters grow up through the pages. So happy with the ending! I wish there was more!
Book two starts right where book one left off. Reid hurt and Briar on the run. We get her back but then there are problems after problems thrown in their way. Honestly, I thought I was going to start the book, read a couple chapters and call it a night. Once I got started I couldn’t put it down and ended up staying up way too late to finish. Well worth the loss of sleep. Amazing conclusion to this series. Maybe we can convince EM to give us some of the other characters stories though. They played such a key part in Briar and Reid’ story, I fell in love with them as well. And I mean, I will always want more of EM’s work.
The boy she loves lies still upon the hospital bed. The pain in her heart doubles, and her need to run brings her to a truth she didnt know.
He’s willing to fight for both himself and for what they have, what will it take to get her to see what he sees…
Oh my gosh what a read!!
The sadness lingers in the background throughout this continuing book, and to some that might be morbid but to me it felt right for this series.
He’s gone but not forgotten and I really connected with that. I loved that Bradys death wasnt glossed over and that he was remembered and mentioned many times.
This story touched me on so many different levels, and my lil heart cried for what was lost, what was on hold and for the change in the group dynamics.
Briar deserves happiness, a sunshine in her otherwise rain filled days, and that’s what he is. She’s an amazing character and her strength is unrivalled.
Reid is “the man”. The quaterback the one to return her to them.
He’s her reason to breathe, and I loved that about him.
They are the cutest couple ever!
This is a read to make you tear up, swoon, sigh and lose your heart over, and you know what I wouldn’t change a thing about it!
