This is a great book. Unbelievable that such a young man was truly able to get away with his actions.
The fact that it’s true makes it even more fascinating. I could not put it down.
No ethic scammer’s autobiography.
Amazing wunderkind autobiography- if true.
This was not a terribly exciting story, but still interesting. I almost found it unbelievable that such a young teen could pull all of this off.
Enjoyed very much! Well worth reading.
Quite an interesting true story.
This book surpasses the movie by far.
Read this many many years ago, and loved it at the time. With age and wisdom behind me, not sure if I would have the same reaction. I took the stories on face value, not discerning fact from fiction and not assessing the character of the man that he evolved into. If beleieved, he had an amazing life as a con artist of the boldest kind, a horrible …
Having seen the movie I was surprised by the additional material which reinforced my notion as to how ingenious and resourceful Abagnale was. Very entertaining!
Of course I saw the movie, and I was interested in the story. This book was great, and explained why the movie was different than the real story in some ways. I enjoyed this very much
I really enjoyed this book. I saw him speak one time and was anxious to read the book and it was good.
Is the person you’re dealing with really who you think they are? After reading Frank Abagnale’s mostly-autobiographical tales of the many ways he’s fooled people, you might never be sure again. Ask to see an ID!
A companion to the movie, but not the same thing. Tells a lot more background information. Fascinating.
I saw the movie, which was excellent. While I was reading this book, I had the movie scenes in my head. Very good book.
This book surprised me because it is a true story but is so different than the movie by the same name. There were so many items that were fabricated for the movie to make it more interesting, I suppose. But the truth is even more interesting–read the book and you will see.
fascinating true story..
I read this book many years ago and could not wait to read it again. It is amazing what Frank got away with and what he has become. It is a true story.
