Nice to read something with truly human characters. Love all the books set in Marietta MT. Written by different authors but overlapping characters and town. Great rodeo scenes in this book.
The book is a nice read, but gets a little wordy, and a little off the plot-line in several instances … but overall, it’s an enjoyable book
The two characters had a lot to work through but the love they shared was the mainstay that helped them to get through all the problems they faced. There was a lot of forgiveness that had to be done before they could move forward. I understood the grandfather who had to stand by and watch and hope that the kids could figure it out. I believe it was a hard place for the grandfather to be in because he loved both kids.
