If it’s not broke don’t fix it. That was Cash’s motto in life, and his life was perfect. He was living the life of the lieutenant of The Last Riders, and had women at his beck and call. The only thing he saw himself settling down with in the future was a twelve pack; certainly not Rachel Porter, who was on his short no fuck list. Hell, she wasn’t even his type—her tits were too small, and her … mean mouth could shrivel a man’s dick. How was he supposed to know she was special and worth putting up with those weed-producing hillbillies? Or was she?
Rachel had lived her whole life watching Cash break one woman’s heart after another. He was everything she shouldn’t want; a bad boy biker with enough sex appeal to make any woman want a night in his bed. Even her. Heck, he wasn’t even her type—he didn’t know when to keep his mouth shut, and he lived in a sex club. How was she supposed to know that he was special and worth putting up with the biker wars and biker bitches? Or was he?

4.5 Stars! Wow! Cash was exactly what I was expecting but a lot more, too. In the fifth book of The Last Riders series, we delve deeper into a club that takes its freedom seriously, and the rough and tumble bikers who may just be the good guys.
Summary:
Cash Adams loves his life. He takes his job as Lieutenant of The Last Riders seriously, but he also likes to play. He has all he needs, and the saying goes, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” He definitely doesn’t have plans to settle down. Not with anyone, but at the bottom of any potential list would be Rachel Porter. She’s the farthest thing from his type as you could get. Besides, the Porter attitude must have hit her with double the sass. She’s just not worth fighting her crazy-a$$ed brothers. Is she? Rachel Porter has lived her whole life watching every woman in town chase after Cash, and watching him let them catch him. For a short time, that is. That’s why she couldn’t fathom her interest in him. He was everything she shouldn’t want; a bad boy biker with too many women, and a raw sex appeal that just attracted more. He’s nothing like the man she saw herself with, settling down, starting a family with. But something does draw her to him. Is he worth putting up with his past conquests and biker wars, though?
I loved Cash and Rachel. Rachel was a strong heroine. Sweet, innocent, and giving, but also with a fire burning underneath. She didn’t take too much crap, and she was as devious as the men thought they were. I loved the unexpected side to her that was her gift. It was intriguing. Cash was a strong man. He had definite beliefs and cut anything that didn’t fit that mold out of his life. It was hot. We have seen evidence of Cash’s vigorous sex life in the club, but to experience it, as well as see him focus all that intensity on one woman, was hot as hell. I loved how he brought the Last Riders to Treepoint. His back and forth with Rachel was cute, and fiery. The sex scenes were steamy, and I enjoyed reading them, but I think how much Train got was too much. I like that Cash was possessive and protective over Rachel, and that he allowed a bit of play, but for me, just a hint less would have been perfect. That said, his dirty talk was seriously a turn-on. The storyline was interesting, but I think I wanted that played out a little more for how serious the situation was. Lastly, I really could have done with a longer epilogue because I’m a sucker for a good, long look into the future. Overall, it was a book I had trouble putting down. I feel like part of the club’s family. I am absolutely looking forward to Lucky’s book. He is an enigma and can be so philosophical. I’m interested to see how he ends up. I hope Brooke is dealt with soon because I can’t stand her, and the attempts against Lily are making me angry. Up next is The Biker Bitches, who I love. Can’t wait to read more! <3
Tate Greer and Dustin are hilarious. I love the fact that cash was willing to do anything to get their approval for Rachel and prove that he will do anything to date Rachel. I also love that before Tate, Greer and Dustin agree to anything they set out their own rules. I love that they’re making sure their sister will always be taken care of.
So one of my absolute favourite scenes in this is when the Porter brothers barge in on church with guns. It was bloody hilarious. One of the lines that stick in my head is I think it was Tate saying that we’re going to make you marry Rachel and then make her a widow all in the same day because he knocked her up. I love how embarrassed Rachel got about it, but even more that then Cash did it so they could get married.
It was perfect for Cash and Rachel and I loved the ending. I loved that him and The Last Riders were willing to build an extension to help support Rachel and her plants and it was such a perfect ending for Cash and Rachel. I can’t wait to see a baby from them when it eventually happens!

Cash grew up leaving broken hearts behind. Rachel grew up in the same town with three over bearing brothers, who all hated Cash. When Cash shows an interest in Rachel, the proverbial mess hits the fan and she acts as if she isnt interested in his scandalous ways. Can Cash win her over? Good read, Love this series.
“I bet being an *sshole is a prerequisite to being a Last Rider.”
Rachel, you hit the nail on the head with that one.
Cash was most definitely an *sshole the majority of the time. He pissed me off. BIG. TIME. I really wanted to like him more than I did but man… He was so much more of a manwh*re than I thought he’d be. He’s been tapping not only club p*ssy but what seems like the entire female population of Treepoint and Jamestown combined. Sure, Cash is hot as heck and commands attention in and out of the sack but I just doubted his sincerity so many times in this story.
Rachel. I had been looking forward to this kick-butt heroine for some time! I enjoyed the words she spit at Cash, the shotgun dance she made him do, the knee to his nuts… but she wasn’t quite as firm with him as I wanted her to be. I hated the running from the bed each morning (surprised no one waited up for her) but understood she had her reasons why… Fingers crossed there’ll be a little strawberry-blonde person making an appearance in the upcoming books. Rachel was also a good friend to both Willa and Lily. Oh, and I LOVED her sexy makeover! I wanted to see more of that newfound confidence spread throughout the book.
But… I wasn’t truly sold on the fact that the were in love with one another, madly, at the end. I mean, certain things “happened” but I had a REALLY hard time believing that Cash hadn’t stopped thinking about Rachel since he saw her on the porch of her house (when they “rescued” Lily) in book two, Viper’s Run. Once again, actions speak louder than words… All that manwh*re sh*t and Last Rider stuff can really mess with a heroine’s mind. A guy just needs to find the best way to introduce her to it and Cash wasn’t very smooth with his approach. He was basically like, “I like raunchy sex & love my lifestyle… so, here it is… BAM!” Talk about throwing her to the wolves!
Speaking of throwing her to the wolves, where were all of the Friday night party warnings from the past heroines?! I thought Rachel and Lily had grown pretty close but all Lily told her was that the women wear less than a bathing suit… and that she should ask Cash about it. Really, Lily?! You found out about the club in an awful way and you didn’t plan on giving Rachel a heads up? What ever happened to “sisters before misters?”
So many characters and future plot lines were interwoven throughout this story. Here’s a basic rundown:
*Bliss- If you didn’t like her before (and I will SERIOUSLY question your sanity if you did), you’ll HATE her even more now. And yes, that is possible.
*Lucky- Upset with his behavior in the last book? You’ll be even more disappointed this time around. Not that he’s an awful person but I REALLY want him to be paired up with Willa and they had no interaction with each other in this book. Not even any of those “no cupcakes for me?” scenes. I missed that.
*Willa- So yea, the lack of Lucky interaction made me sad but what bugged me the most… Willa did something that was TOTALLY necessary to save the day and then proceeded to put a major damper on any future love life for her by taking on extra “responsibilities”. Oh Willa… I just want to wrap you up in a big bear hug while whispering words of encouragement in your ear and then take you out for a girl’s night out with Sex Piston and her crew afterwards. (That so has to happen, pretty please Jamie??)
*Train- LOVED his scenes with Cash and Rachel! They were HOT!! I am DYING to know more about the darkness that lies deep down inside him. I really want to find out what exactly Cash wanted Rachel to find and work on healing in this man! BUT… Is there no longer a Train/Killyama pairing in the making? That would be a major letdown because sparks couldn’t help but fly if they got together! Cash told Stud to tell Sex Piston to tell Killyama to back off… Why?
*Brooke- Yea, this b*tch is STILL around and is STILL alive by book’s end. Her evil plan may have been thwarted- thank you morning sickness & Rachel- but don’t count her out yet. You’d think that if the f*** twins could plant some fake evidence (jewelry) in Knox’s room (in book three, Knox’s Stand) then The Last Riders could plant some d*mning evidence in Brooke’s home!
*Jo- Liked her introduction and am wondering if a future pairing with Rider is in the works…
*Mag- This stubborn woman was just great… Feisty, tough & funny.
*The Porter Brothers- I’m a little confused as to what outbursts were planned and which ones were more of the spontaneous variety… I did enjoy their comic relief- the sex talk, cabin time with Cash, shot guns in church- but wanted to smack them upside the head (along with Cash, of course) for humiliating Rachel.
*The Freedom Riders- These guys could’ve been a storyline to cultivate for future use but their lifespan was cut short- super short. A little disappointed with that but whatever.
Can you believe all that went down in this book?!! Not my absolute favorite in the series but it was definitely an enjoyable ride! Cannot wait for the next one!!
I highly recommend reading the books in the order they were released: Razer’s Ride, Viper’s Run, Knox’s Stand, Sex Piston (Biker Bitches #1), Teased (VIP series #1), Tainted (VIP #2), Shade’s Fall, King (VIP #3) and then Cash’s Fight. You’ll get so much out of it this way!!
Really loved this series but honestly this would be my least favorite. I spent so much time wanting to smack the crap out of Cash. He definitely lived up to the term “man whore” but did redeem himself when he agreed to the rules set by Rachel’s brothers. Rachel was sweet, smart, strong willed and had a gift. She’s been in love with Cash for years but knows he isn’t going to change his ways. Getting into Rachel’s pants seemed to be a challenge/game for Cash until he wakes up and “smells the coffee”. There were parts of the book where the characters interactions were funny as hell. I enjoyed reading about the other MC characters in this storyline. For me I really liked this book but didn’t love it. Can’t wait for more in this series.
ANOTHER BRILLIANT BOOK !!!
This series is addictive. Start at the beginning with Razer and you will truly fall in love with this series. READ KING first to stay in order.
I really enjoyed this book, it contained everything you could hope for in the world of MC, they are quirky in the way that they operate and to say they have loose morals is an understatement. It might not be your cup of tea but keep an open mind. As usual, it took being knocked upside the head in order for Cash to do right by Rachel, hell to even figure out that he wanted that. The ending was rushed a bit and not explained well. If I recall correctly it didn’t give any hints as to who was going to be in the next book. Happy Reading!
