I liked the subject. The characters are flawed but probably realistic.
I didn’t care for this one, and stopped reading it partway through, which is rare for me. It had a slow start, and kind of made me think of what might happen if Andy Griffith had been the lead in Bones instead of Temperance Brennan. I stayed with it until the cockfight and the dog-murder, and at that point I’d had more than enough and quit.
Totally loved this book!

Always enjoy the plot and suspense of all the body farm books.
This novel involves the reader in a little known aspect of forensic investigation, and is very interesting. Good character development, the plot is well paced, and the writing is economic while still providing good color and description.
