The last thing I want is to share a forty-five minute commute with the most obnoxious (and attractive) man I know. But I can’t afford a new transmission right now, so I’m stuck with Marcus for at least a month. He promises to be good, but Marcus Greene is never good. And I’m not sure how long I can resist him. Carpool is the first book in the Milford College series about the faculty and staff of … series about the faculty and staff of a small liberal arts college.

I loved the story. I just wish it was a longer read.
Great book
Loved the storyline, loved the characters.
Short sweet read
Delightful easy reading with a HEA.
Really enjoyed this book. Two people who have known each other from childhood but never connected, are together because of a need the girl has for a ride to work. A 45 minute ride each way. They learn so much about themselves. Things they never dreamt were true. A lovely short story.
A great read!
This is a sweet and entertaining book with relatable characters.
I have never read a book by Noelle that I haven’t enjoyed, and this one was no different. At times I had to laugh at some of the things. Because the plot was so unique. Good read!!
This made me think about how an opinion formed when young can persist over time. The woman who needed a ride to work for a few weeks hesitated to ask her neighbor to carpool even they worked at the same location and schedule. She had known him throughout her childhood and didn’t like him because he was a “bad boy” when younger. She ignored how responsible he was as an adult. She was considered to be a “good and responsible girl” to the male main character and in their community. I enjoyed them learning about each other as adults. There are some surprises and some sexy times! I recommend this book to readers of romance!
Very entertaining read.
I like reading about how the opposites attract.
nice character development
Cute, fast, read.
“Wait for a man who wants you. Just you. And who’s willing to do anything to get you. And anything to keep you.” page 52. Awesome story. You absolutely need to read it.
The last thing that Jennifer wanted was to ask the local bad boy teen turned bad-tude adult for a ride. Let alone share a forty-five minute drive to their job location. She had no choice. She just was not expected to make a friends and find the true man under the exterior of the boy he had been and the man that others see as now.
Perceptions change during the time Jennifer and Marcus spend on their five-day a week commute to Milford College. Understanding unfolds. Truths are discovered. A friendship bonds.
A quickie read that gave you characters to like and make a bond with. A small community to explore and college life to see from a different point of view.
He was a bad boy. She was the prim and proper neighbor. Until She had to ask him for a ride. Then they found out that she wasn’t so prim and proper and he was no longer a bad boy
5 STARS – AWESOME READ !!!
Thank you Netgalley for this ARC copy of Carpool by a favorite author ( discovered thru Netgalley I might add ) Noelle Adams
This review is my honest opinion & has not been influenced in any way ….
Delightful obnoxious bad boy / good girl storyline – funny – sizzling chemistry – very easy to read & I did in one sitting.
Marcus & Jennifer have always been attracted to each other but never acted on it ….
A costly transmission repair has Jennifer seeking Marcus out to carpool to their jobs at Milford College. Alot happens in that 45 min commute for them – getting to know each other – sharing their days – being there for advice – oh & they eventually decide to take a friends with benefits fling to see what is really going on with their mutual attraction.
What happens in a small town doesn’t always work well when gossip and opinions start impacting these two characters.
Such a great book with some strong advice that it is ok to live your life responsibly but not at the cost of true happiness.
Great Read & love this authors work !!!
Here we have Jennifer and Marcus; after Jennifer’s car breaks down, the only option to get to work is ask Marcus to share a ride. That wouldn’t be a problem, except she hates him, lol.
Well, since they can’t spend their entire ride not saying a word, they give up and start sharing things and soon, they realize they are not so bad.
This was a fun read, I liked these two, I liked their time in the car and how they were forced to talk and share. I loved more that they opened up and saw that he wasn’t such a bad boy, and she wasn’t just a nice girl. Who cares what the town thinks?
This was an entertaining read and a good start of the series.
*Thank you to the author for providing a copy for which I’m giving my honest opinion*
Didn’t like at all
