The last thing I want is to share a forty-five minute commute with the most obnoxious (and attractive) man I know. But I can’t afford a new transmission right now, so I’m stuck with Marcus for at least a month. He promises to be good, but Marcus Greene is never good. And I’m not sure how long I can resist him. Carpool is the first book in the Milford College series about the faculty and staff of … series about the faculty and staff of a small liberal arts college.

This was a fun shortie. I enjoyed the banter between Marcus and Jennifer on their daily drives. It had the right amount of push and pull, angst and sweetness. I am looking forward to more Milford College.
It’s hard to write a long review when all it comes to mind after finishing this short story is the word CUTE.
This short story was nicely paced, filled with funny banter and a whole lot of misread signals along the way. I was enjoying reading how they started their relationships and then managed to finally get to the HEA they both craved.
I’m hoping that next novella is about Beck because I have a feeling about her.

I truly enjoyed this sweet, slow burn story of (Bad Boy) Marcus and (Good Girl) Jennifer. Their story grabbed my attention from the start and kept me reading till that very last page. I loved their whole heart melting journey. Noelle Adams is a new to me author and she has totally won me over with this book. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
Happy Reading Everyone!!!

Noelle Adams has a new series that will make you want to work at in this college. This is just the first book and boy does it start with a little foreplay between two people going out with a bang of chemistry. These two are perfect in a way they complete each other yet afraid to really let go for the possibilities. Loved it and can’t wait for the second book now.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
Working in the financial department of Milford College, a small liberal arts college, but living forty-five minutes away, Jennifer Raleigh finds herself with a dire situation when her car’s transmission needs replacing and little money to do it. The solution seems more of a nightmare to her though-Marcus Greene!
The whole scenario of good girl and bad boy getting to know each other is always an exciting one and this is no different but the manner in which they do it is actually slightly more realistic in a way in this short story.
Jennifer is an everyday sort of person and I quite liked her in the beginning but she didn’t grab me, if you know what I mean? However, as the story progresses I found the more her character developed the more I liked her. I will admit was intrigued by Marcus and his gruff demeanour towards Jennifer, I quite liked him straight away and felt there was a lot more to him.
Beck is another great character and now I am really keen to know her and Dr Evan Jones’ story too!
