Book One of The Chalcedony ChroniclesA clean college/new adult time travel romance.Everyone has a past, but for most it isn’t so far in the past as Seth Sangre. His past is literally from thousands of years ago. Seth’s past led him to the present seeking something that might help him save his country from destruction. He has been in the present for over three years now, and he just found exactly … found exactly what he has been looking for.
Mari had dreams of college being a fresh start, one where she would start over and not fall for the good looking player like high school. Unfortunately for her, that’s exactly what ends up falling into her lap on the first day she moves into the dorms. Now she has to hold to her promise to herself not fall for the handsome Seth Sangre. But he doesn’t plan to make it easy for her. Seth has already marked her as his next conquest. As the semester progresses, Mari learns that Seth might just have a past of his own that’s literally in the past. Suddenly, Mari finds her future along with her past put into question. She’s connected to Seth far more than she ever wanted to be, and maybe he isn’t the player who she thought he was. If Mari can trust her heart enough to follow him, Seth will lead Mari on an adventure of a lifetime-and reveal family secrets she never knew existed.

Loved the book. It certainly gives the reader a look at the history surrounding the story line and makes it more interesting.
I was disappointed in the … to be continued … ending.
Too short. Not enough details or plot building. Suddenly, it was finished. There could have been so much more!
Stupid ending. Dissatisfied
Not the greatest. Immature writing. Won’t read others in this series.
Interesting look at time travel.
I make it a habit to decide at the 10% mark whether a book is worth reading, or not. I held off to the 15% mark on this one because I hoped that a real story was developing here. I wasted my time; the storyline was circular and repetitive, with minimal forward motion. The extreme over use of the word ‘CUTE’ was annoying, and a crutch like that usually means that there was no care given to the rest of the story.
Now I know that this is supposed to be a YA story – but does that mean it can be unedited and amateurish? I don’t believe that’s acceptable.
Easy read n you’ll want to be the other books too!!
Amazing!! I had to get the rest of the series and couldn’t put them down, read them all back to back!!! Wonderful
Characters didn’t make sense in the context of the story. Just another Twilight wanna be . Concept is somewhat interesting but poorly developed.
