I tried to take my time reading this one. It did me no good. Every time I walked away from the book, all I could think about was what is happening to Nate! Book is fast paced and of course expertly crafted by our Author Monkey. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll curse the gods, and you’ll thank Shayne for putting you through this. I am more than ready to see what is next in store for the Templeverse
I’ve said this before, and I’ll probably say it again: I’ve been with this author almost since the beginning, and I am constantly amazed at the way he can make the English language to darn entertaining! This is the latest in the Templeverse, and we find Nate at war once again with a god. Although this time, the god is aiming for Nate’s family. In the middle of this, he needs to find out what he heart really wants to aid him in his quest. I was quite surprised by the end of this book, as I am with most of this author’s works to be honest, but really I didn’t see that one coming. This author’s mind produces such a labyrinth of words in an action-filled story, the reader can never predict what’s coming; you just to hold on for the wild ride. I’m waiting to see what’s coming next in the great Templeverse. Highly recommend! I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
OMG!!! I never saw this coming!!! Zeus a butthead?? Yeah, war coming and Nate keeping promises and the 2nd 4 horsemen ride!!! This book returns to the beginning, cleaning up questions and letting Nate learn what he already knew. The ending is all about who you choose for your family and who you are born to. Incredible story!!!
Not since Legend has a Shayne Silvers book made such an impact on me. I just finished Carnage, the soon-to-be-released latest novel in the Templeverse. This book answered some important questions, and it left the door wide, wide open for some epic showdowns in the future. It made me laugh, so many times. There are so many spectacular moments in this book, Silvers really outdid himself this time. I may even have been a bit misty-eyed at certain points, because it’s just so well-written.
