From USA Today Bestselling Author Ella FoxJackson Howell was tall, dark, handsome- and the single most annoying person I’d ever met. Our fathers were best friends, but that didn’t mean a thing to us. It seemed like he lived to prank me, and I always responded with anger. On the first day of preschool, he’d dumped a pail of sand down the back of my favorite yellow dress. In tenth grade, he started … grade, he started a rumor that I had a virginity pact with Jesus. It took almost the whole year for someone to tell me why no guys ever looked at me. It wasn’t that I wanted to date anyone, but it would’ve been nice not to be avoided like the plague.
When I moved back to our hometown after college, I was ready to turn over a new leaf where Jackson was concerned. It was time to deal with the feelings I had for him. He wasn’t hard to find. Within hours of my return he was serenading me with Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up at the Olive Garden.
Later that night I turned over the Wheel of Fortune card… and Madam Aria explained that Jackson Howell was my destiny.
If you enjoy insta-love, happily ever after and reading about a virgin couple, you’re in for a treat with Wheel of Fortune.

Chloe and Jackson’s fathers are best friends and neighbors, so you would have thought these two would be as close as siblings or best friends. Nope. Chloe took one look at the boy who had a mother that loved him and she decided she hated him. And so the entirety of their lives were spent with Jax trying to get her to smile with one outlandish prank or another, and Chloe frowning and throwing a tantrum after. Until she was 19 and the town psychic read her her fortune and set Chloe’s bratty little head on straight. Two years later, she’s back in town, a changed woman. Is Madam Aria and the Wheel of Fortune card’s prediction going to come true? Is Jax truly her soulmate from each and every life they’ve lived in each other’s orbits? Or is it too late in this life for the would be lovers?
I love the idea of this story, and do definitely believe in soulmates, but I gotta admit that Chloe’s character turned me off big time. She’s the main reason for 3.5 stars. If she had been a sweetheart like Jax, this definitely would have been a 4 star read, but as it’s written, Chloe just threw the entire story off for me. Aside from her, though, I liked the story. It’s sexy once the two virgins get together, Jax is a sweetheart, Madame Aria is awesome and wise, and their friends Alec and Caroline are deserving of a story of their own. If I ever get my fortune read, I hope it’s by a cool lady like Madam Aria!
*As this is shorter read, and I don’t want to give away too much this will be on the short end.*
Ella Fox is a new to me author, and this was a perfect introduction to her as a writer. All the warm fuzzies can be found in these pages, with a fun mystic twist. Soulmates on an other-worldly level, you can’t help but cheer on their love, and enjoy all the teasing that occurs in between. Don’t miss out on this read! <3
I normally love this author’s work, but I just couldn’t get into this book. I just couldn’t connect with the characters. I loved the idea of the book, though.
I think if had been longer and the author had fleshed out the characters, I might have enjoyed it a lot more.
This was a quick, hot, and also sweet read that took my on a journey of fated love. It wasn’t an easy love story and it certainly wasn’t insta-love. I really enjoyed this book. It was a different take on the enemies to lovers trope with just the right amount of mystery, angst, and steam. I loved Jackson and Chloe. I recommend going on this journey with them!

Short and sweet. The hero and heroine are both virgins yet this novella is oh so hot !!!
Jackson and Chloe are destined to be soulmates, as their fathers are BFFs and they Jackson and Chloe have known each other since they were 3 years old . Their relationship has been challenging for many years….it seemed like they were enemies or were they ?
Their relationship moves from friends to lovers which leads to a sizzling and entertaining romance novella read.
My Rating: 4.5 stars *****
A chance encounter with Madam Aria a fortune teller when Jackson Howell aged 13 changed his young life. And he carried that encounter and her words with him forever.
Jackson has been a thorn in Chloe’s side from day one. Her father has been best friends with Jackson’s parents for life and when he decides to move back to Bliss after the break-down of his marriage he and they hope that these two will become best friends, secretly hoping for more also.
But Chloe resents Jackson and his perfect life or really it’s his perfect parents. A mother that she does not have but that he does who loves him unconditionally. Jealousy is a funny thing and it’s not Jackson’s fault but that does not stop Chloe from resenting him and what he has. She always hoped that one day her mother would walk back into her life and realise that she had made a mistake and wanted to be a wife and mother. That never happened. And that secretly crushed her.
Through their teenage years these two were at each other constantly. Practical jokes, embarrassing incidents you name it they did it.
When Chloe, years later encounters the same Madam Aria that Jackson saw all those years ago, she tries to brush of the woman’s words but something makes her stop and think. What if what she is telling her is true? Should she tempt fate or take the leap?
When Chloe eventually returns home from NYC after completing her degree it’s like a weight has been lifted. She’s eager to see her friends and Jackson.
With Rick Astley ‘aka Jackson’ serenading her with “Never Gonna Give you up” you know that it’s going to be an awesome start to what was written in the stars over their past lives.
I love what Ella did, I honestly believe that this is possible. That there is one person for you and you may not always get them in this life but you will in the next. A fun and feel good read with laughter and steamy times.
This is a sweet and short novella which is a great addition to the “Cards of Love” series. Jackson and Chloe are destined to be soulmates, and as their relationship moves from friends / lovers this all leads to an entertaining read.
A quick sweet read. This is one of those novellas that you really wish would be been a full book. I love the whole destiny thing and really liked the characters. It was fast paced but that is to be expected. I’m really enjoying this whole tarot card series.

Cards of Love : Wheel of Fortune was a short and sweet read. I loved Jackson and Chloe. Great read!
Fate… There are sometimes books that come along that completely make you believe in it. Wheel of Fortune is one of those books.
Chloe and Jackson are sort of friends, mostly enemies who are meant to be together. When each of them visits a fortune teller, they set out to make the most of their paths. This story was short and very sweet. Jax is absolutely adorable.
I finished this book in about an hour or so. These characters just drew me in and I couldn’t stop until I reached the end.
