After being ousted from his pack, Special Forces Weapons Sergeant Flint Myers has found a new sense of family in his Special Ops Shifter Force brothers. But ever the lone wolf, he still has a restless feeling gnawing at him, and he’s not sure how to quell it. Soon after he’s sent on a secret mission to infiltrate a pack in the Rockies, he realizes that finding a mate might be just what he needs … needs to finally soothe the beast within—when he meets their Alpha’s alluring sister.
Audra Larson has just returned to her home pack with her little boy after a messy divorce, hoping to piece together a new life. But when her brother asks her to keep an eye on the newcomer, Flint, to make sure he’s not a spy, Audra’s wolf discovers he’s something entirely else: her mate. The last thing she needs is another man in her life at this point, so she does her best to focus on the task at hand.
When she happens upon Flint one night deep in the forest and overhears his phone call with the Force, Flint has no choice but to take her hostage. He must keep his cover and protect the integrity of the mission, but when tensions rise between these two shifters out in the middle of the woods, will they be able to ignore the howling of their inner wolves?

Captured by the Soldier Wolf
Shifter Nation: Special Ops Shifters, Book 3
By: Meg Ripley
Narrated by: Stephen Borne
Meg Ripley pens another fantastic paranormal romance in her “Shifter Nation: Special Ops Shifters” series. I am loving this series, each book features a difference shifter and assignment, in this book SOSF team member Flint Meyers goes on an assignment to investigate allegations of wrong doings amongst three shifter packs in the Rockies. He plans on infiltrating each pack to find out what is going on and who is behind it. I really liked Flint, he was a loner never really fitting in anywhere but he found a home with the SOSF. Audra Larson and her son are back with her family and her home pack where her brother is now the Alpha. After a failed marriage she is not sure what she wants to do yet. Flint, working undercover, requests to join the pack and Audra’s brother asks her to find out more about him, whether he is a spy or not. Audra caught Flint’s eye right from the start but he is all business and set on completing his mission. When all does not go as planned, Flints cover is blown when Audra overhears him talking to his SOSF team members. He had stumbled upon information that lead to who was behind the incidents with the other two tribes, it was all because of a power play. Now Flint must do something about Audra, could he convince her to help or will he be forced to do something he does not want to. I loved how everything plays out in this book, it is plotted out nicely and there is never a dull moment with plenty of drama, angst, action, twists & turns, some thrilling and suspenseful moments and some hot ones too. I loved these two characters they were great together and for each other, also loved how awesome Flint was with her son. Meg Ripley, thank you for another great story .
I listened to the Audible edition, Stephen Borne is a fantastic narrator and voice artists. He continues to bring these characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. His portrayal of the characters is spot on, he sounds as you picture them to sound. He captures and projects the characters emotions, as well as the drama of the story into his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another great listen
Flint is my favorite of the Special Ops Shifters!
Flint is assigned to investigate warring wolf packs in Colorado. Infiltrating the first pack, headed by Nate, their Alpha, Flint meets Audra, Nate’s sister and finds his lone wolf life is about to undergo a tremendous overhaul. Audra wants nothing to do with Flint, especially once she discovers his true purpose, but by that time Flint can’t risk letting her out of his sight without blowing the entire operation. Their undeniable chemistry fueled their back-and-forth banter while Flint works with the rest of his team to find the proof of what’s going on.
This was a delightful romance, with both characters overflowing with personality and wit. I loved their interactions, and the way Audra processed the unavoidable truth was commendable. Their HEA was achieved with less bloodshed than the earlier books in this series, which made it a bit easier to read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I was caught in this series through book one and two. I really liked this book and felt like it went well with the other books in the series. It also carried the main characters to being round and I could see the characters falling in love rather then fighting tooth and nails.
This book is worth checking out.
This was another great shifter romance. I loved how the story played out and the characters were great! It was well written and I would recommend this book to all!
The narrator also did a fantastic job in depicting the characters. Very well done!!
I enjoyed Flint and Audra’s story! It’s a very captivating story that is a fairly quick and addicting read. The story is well written with twists, surprise, romance and mystery. Flint and Audra are fated! He is on a mission and has to kidnap her to keep it quiet. The chemistry and pull between them is great. This might be my favorite story so far in the “Special Ops” series. I really enjoyed this story!!! Love the characters! The narrator did a really good job.

The writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world that was created.
The descriptions of the characters and their feelings are so involved, you can truly picture it in your mind. Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer.

My mental image of Flint formed from previous books in the series did not exactly matched what I thought he would be like in this book. Still, this book continues to show what a great person he is and what an asset he can be.

Audra, a newly divorced mom focused on taking care of her young son and healing from her ex’s cheating and controlling ways finds herself back at home with her pack, regrouping and figuring out what she wants to do with the rest of her life. . This book was amazing! The next in the Special Ops Shifters Series, the story of Flint and Audra is full of great characters and a wonderful journey that includes a bit of intrigue and a whole lot of sass! Flint is sent by the team to Colorado in order to find out what is going on between several sets of shifter clans that have been attacking each other. It is there that he meets Audra and he must convince her to help him with her clan when he finds the truth of what is happening with the attacks. The fact that they turn out to be fated mates makes it even better!
