It was really one of my favorites. Started with action and suspense, sped along with great characters and ended like I like!
Love Margaret Mallory
Wonderful ,I loved the story the history and Characters.
I enjoyed this book. It was a quick read that I didn’t want to put down.
I couldn’t believe it.
I enjoyed this but somethings were so far fetched. A 10 year old with just a a little training fighting a legendary swords man like D’Orsey. My mouth hit the floor. His brothers disobeying him so willfully and getting no punishment. That was just ridiculous. I didn’t read anything about the Scotsman wearing kilts but their was one on the cover.
Read a few chapters, but didn’t bother to finish it.
Easy read with strong characters
The widow kept on badgering her new husband- showing there could be a new way to live without all this revenge killing. She also showed by example. well written!
Just loved the action, adventure and romance with delightful and heroic characters!
Love this book. Love the characters
I was pleasantly surprised that I loved this book! I like the instant bond and love that David had for Alisons daughter and how much he loved Alison. This was a pure romantic book. I think readers will like this book.
Loved this book. Couldn’t put it down. Great writing.
Fairly well written, just too drawn out. Could cut 50 to 100 pages and still told a good story. Character D’Orsey was sometimes written D’Arcy in the text – other spelling errors which could have used a good editor.
Hard to put the book down and suspenseful.
bad language – do not recommend
Love books that are series. Get to know new characters and then read their story.
Really liked it.
Lots of twists and turns. Some were predictable. Others not so much. Nice flowing story.
Although it was somewhat predictable , I found the book interesting enougj to keep mewanting to find out what was next. The barriers to their happiness were inventive and the characters were likeable. It was a good read for a time when I wanted something light but entertaining.
I especially like historical romances.
