Read the second book in the reader favorite Stars of Mithra trilogy from #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts!Bounty hunter Jack Dakota knows how to handle himself, or at least so he thought. The moment he went to pick up the pretty little bail jumper M.J. O’Leary, he discovered there was nothing easy about the spitfire—or about this case. Someone had set them both up. Now they’re … spitfire—or about this case. Someone had set them both up. Now they’re handcuffed together and on the run from a pair of hired killers. M.J. isn’t talking about why the men are after her—not even when Jack finds a gigantic blue diamond hidden in her purse. Everything tells Jack this alluring vixen can’t be trusted… everything, that is, except his captive heart.

Nora Roberts is a wonderful story teller. I read everything that she writes. It’s as if you are there in her stories. You can imagine the people, the homes, the cities or town. Thank you Nora Roberts. I love your pin name J D Robb. Lt. Eve Dallas as a futuristic Cop & Rourke
I really enjoyed this book, it needed another chapter
I must have made a mistake. I have enjoyed Nora Roberts books for almost 20 years. And I purchased this book, actually the 3 book series, based on that history. Somehow I missed that this was some kind of Harlequin romance book. The stories were fine, it’s just the overload of romance was unexpected, and kind of feminine perspective for me. …
Always love this author.well written with mystery and turns and laughs.
Good read
Great book. Didn’t want to put it down. Unexpected twists and turns
Enjoyed the series – and everything she writes!
Basic boy meets girl in odd situation and they are attracted to each other. Have not read one in some time so it kept my interest.
Well written and full of suspense. Second of 3 books that must be read in order. The last book solves the mystery… Love Nora Roberts
Nora Roberts was one of my all time favorite authors, but this book seemed amateurish and not like her at all. Like she just phoned it in. I was disappointed.
One of Nora Robert’s early titles read many years ago. But as with all her titles enjoyable.
I always resort to Nora’s books when I start losing interest in reading.
I thought this book was not one of Nora Roberts best.
A little too predictable at times then left to many unanswered questions. Disappointed in the book.
Ending was very quick.
If not for the insta love thing, I might have liked this book more. The I love you and let’s get married after such a short time was crazy. But! The characters were fun, the mystery was good. I read it all. Not sure I will read the other 2 in the series.
I love to read all the books written by this author
I only received 168 pages of the book.
The interactions between MJ and Dakota keep you moving in a non-stop, action packed connection to Hidden Star. She and Bailey are best friends and this is all Bailey’s fault. However, Dakota is worth it…
Fantastic series
