Read the second book in the reader favorite Stars of Mithra trilogy from #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts!Bounty hunter Jack Dakota knows how to handle himself, or at least so he thought. The moment he went to pick up the pretty little bail jumper M.J. O’Leary, he discovered there was nothing easy about the spitfire—or about this case. Someone had set them both up. Now they’re … spitfire—or about this case. Someone had set them both up. Now they’re handcuffed together and on the run from a pair of hired killers. M.J. isn’t talking about why the men are after her—not even when Jack finds a gigantic blue diamond hidden in her purse. Everything tells Jack this alluring vixen can’t be trusted… everything, that is, except his captive heart.

All Nora Roberts books are great
A real rollercoaster of a read. Our heroine is feisty, smart and due to know fault of her own embroiled in a ‘murder’. Our hero, a Bounty Hunter is sent to bring her in. It doesn’t take long before the fake set up is realised and our two intrepid heroes are on the run. There’s car chases, gun fights, gruesome murders, witty banter and a sweet and …
Good read
What can I say? In times of uncertainty, I turn to Nora Roberts for a fast-paced, steamy love story! She never, honestly, disappoints. I love her characters, the stubborn, headstrong heros and feisty heroines. She writes great action scenes and quick dialogue. Captive Star is a good one!Nora Roberts Captive Star
Cheesy
Typical old school style of writing – pretty shallow
I mostly liked it. It ended sort of in themiddle though. I’m sure that’s a push to get me to read the next book in the series! But I’d like a real finish better!
An early N. Roberts with instant attraction, near instant sex, and danger chasing our hero and heroine. I finished it. It was diverting. Not sure the threat was ever resolved, which made the end disappointing.
Loved the series.
For light reading I turn to serial romance writers. Roberts Is one of my favorites and her “Star” trilogy does not disappoint. Just as a successful moonpie needs a unforgettable filling, Roberts “cooks up” Captive Star with a plot that moves quickly and unpredictably with delightful humorous touches. Her characters are strong and compelling and …
I thought this stuff was free bull shit

It was okay but not as good as most of her books.
I enjoyed the 3 book series.
I always love Nora Roberts! Her books make me want the next one!
I was enjoying reading it until I got to the end and there was no end. Left me hanging. Really disappointed in Nora Roberts. Would not recommend this book at all.
