Fate brings them together — family rips them apart.
Hudson of Clan Uruz found his mate. His life should have been set. Then she disappeared.
A year of searching and waiting with his heart breaking every moment they were apart, Hudson vowed to never stop looking for her. Their souls were destined to be together and no one was going to keep them apart.
Spoiled — that’s what Marcella Russo was. … what Marcella Russo was. She knew it and her mobster father’s employee definitely knew it. Marcella couldn’t help that she was drawn to the shockingly handsome Kindred bear. He also wouldn’t give her the time of day. That was something she wasn’t used to. Hitting on the new hire couldn’t possibly go wrong.
When two mates meet the world is supposed to come together in perfect harmony, but Hudson and Marcella weren’t destined for the easy way out. Getting together was in the hands of fate.. Finding each other again was going to take a miracle.
Captive Bride is a thrilling standalone romance set in the world of the Kindred with no cliffhanger and a guaranteed HEA!

Marcella was a party girl and daughter of a mob boss. Hudson was infiltrating the mob’s organization but once he kissed Marcella, he heard the call of his mate. Little did he know their one night together resulted in a baby, at least not until a year later. Lots of action and danger but their love wins over evil again.
Just not what I wanted to read. I want my make believe to be semi believable with likeable characters.
This is the second book that was nearly a DNF for me from this author.
Struggled to finish as this did not engage me and I couldn’t get past the idiocy of both of the main H’s.
Disliked Marcella from the first and that never changed.
A mean mafia princess used to getting anything or anyone she wants.
How did she get pregnant? If she has drunken sex so much, as indicated by her own words, why isn’t she protected against pregnancy?
Marcella really was a spineless coward. She knows her child, before even being born, is going to be used by its own grandfather and is also used to control her. She doesn’t protect her child. WHY does she not get a gun and kill her father, she is probably the only one able to get close enough to do so.
The excuse about protecting Tony from her father was weak.
I felt Hudson was an idiot. He is undercover but blows it to have sex with his drunken mate.
Hudson didn’t have to kiss her, she was drunk and being mean. He could have stood up and she wouldn’t have been able to reach his lips.
To then have sex with her and bond them together under those conditions, just unacceptable.
I finished the book as promised but I didn’t enjoy this as much as the previous books.
Found more spark and entertainment between Nadia and Luca.
This is my honest review of this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Talk about a struggle to get their HEA! Hudson finds his mate and mates her much faster than how it normally happens in the stories for this series only to lose her the night after their mating. What started as a favor to go undercover and help his old Seattle PD partner, quickly spirals into so much more. Hudson finds his mate in the form of seemingly spoiled mafia princess Marcella. One slightly drunken kiss changed everything for the both of them. He learns what it means to rely on the family he already had to get back the family he desperately wants. She learns just how strong she can be and how far she will go to defend herself and her young family. I hadn’t realized how much I missed the stories in this series until the scene with all of the females circled around Ella in the closet. They showed her that the family she came to be a part of is just as strong and protective of their own despite not being related. I can’t wait for the next story! I’m seriously hoping it will be Nadia and Luca’s story. The ending between the two of them had me laughing and excited for when they are finally on deck.
This bear deserves a mate…And Moxie North knows exactly how to find him one!
We find ourselves in the middle of a dangerous set of circumstances when Hudson must go undercover. But no one is more surprised than he is, when he hears the call of his mate. Moxie keeps us on our toes with the unexpected and painful relationship that Ella finds for herself.
We are swept away with the complications these two find, as their hearts grow closer, even as their distance grows farther.
This story was fascinating and really ripped at our hearts. Moxie continues to create a world where her bears are strong and gruff and need the hearts of their mates!
Captive Bride: 7 brides for 7 bears by Moxie North is a 5 star read.
I feel like I’ve waited forever on this book (I haven’t) I love everything Moxie, her words pull me into the story and before I know it I’m lost in an amazing world, I really hate coming to the end of her stories, but I always know there’s another on coming.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
It was an awesome addition to the series. There was some twists and turns that made me finish the book without putting it down. I can’t wait for the next one! Especially if it’s finally who I’ve been waiting for!
