Being a suspect in a murder case never happens at a good time, but for Capricorn, Tad Halston, a recovering addict and former male escort who is on the verge of reclaiming his place as an in-demand male model, the timing couldn’t be worse. With bodies piling up and more evidence pointing to him for the murders, the last thing he needs is a series of anonymous messages demanding he make the next … he make the next kill for vengeance. Can he murder the uncle who abused him and sent his life hurtling down this dark path, or will his sister become the real killer’s next victim? For Tad, time is running out.
Now that Darek Blake has hired Bay “The Slayer” Collins as his divorce attorney, he realizes the man’s help will come at a much higher price. Becoming an informant was never part of the deal, but with new evidence hitting too close to home, Darek is left with no other choice. With the killer targeting Darek’s old friends, he has to decide which side is most important, his role as a detective, or his past as part of the Zodiac Society.

I literally dived right into the second book in the Zodiac killer series , because the prequel held my interest …it was soo good .
In Capricorn it gets way more exciting as we go deeper into the lives of these characters and realize the killer already has them where he wants them …it’s an intense mystery !
Darek is Juggling his Toxic divorce ( His wife is a winner ) All while trying to catch a serial killer …the plot thickens …enter more suspense when Bay is around .
Capricorn is centered around Tad . His past is thrust into the forefront and it’s a doozy …chills me to the bone .
I’m not gonna spoil it by going into details just know it’s cringe worthy, intense and my mind is blown away by what transpires in the end .
I’m dying to get my hands on the next book.
After reading the first Zodiac book, I was hooked. This one did not disappoint.
Hold on it is about to get even more twisted
First I will say this review has NO Spoilers and also if you have not read book one you may want to consider it as it will provide a much-needed background for Capricorn
Ok- where do I even begin – I just finished the book and my heart is racing – seriously- and my adrenaline is flowing something fierce – A definite pulse-pounding read
This is Tad’s story and it is nothing if not impassioned and intoxicating
Tad is for me the baby – just as sweet and loving as they come- he only wanted to feel loved and needed- sadly his whole life he was either tormented or used by those who should have protected him
Darek is seriously my hero at this point – there is just something about his inner turmoil and how hard he is fighting to do the right thing that draws me to him -not to mention that he has no intentions of being Bay’s B%!ch
Bay – let’s just say I hope his next line is tainted – he is seriously one twisted character
Then there is Lizzy – there is something there that I am missing with her- she is just too engaged and has been since the beginning when she was brought in
Max seems to be the odd man out in this whole scenario but I think he has a very important role to play
If you are looking for a good thriller that will keep your heart pumping and your fists clenched – look no further
the copy of Capricorn I read was complimentary
In this story, the second in The Zodiac Killer stories, we learn a lot more about Capricorn, Tad. In this first (The Zodic Killer) we were introduced to him and learn a bit about how he fits into this mysterious world and murder case.
This story is filled with mystery, twists, turns, uncertainty, and a large amount of conflict. Just when you think you understand something, everything chances. This story felt a bit darker, at least emotionally then the last one. I enjoy getting to know these characters at a deeper level. This story is filled with details and more details, so it takes a bit more brain power (at least for me) to keep track of everything that is going on. The writes draws you into the story and before you know it the story is over and you have to wait for book three!
I need more Darek and Lizzy. Whatever is going own with the murder mystery I will need more interactions between these two, the make the story that much more. I received and ARC and am leaving an honest review.
