For years I’d avoided omegas. They were too tempting. In heat, they pulled alphas like me across a hot, dangerous line. I couldn’t risk hurting another one… Until I caught his scent on a cold Manhattan night. My extravagant world crashed around us as our bodies and hearts collided. His taste brought me to my knees. All this time I thought I was different. I thought I could change this city, … change this city, choked by corruption and greed. But one omega, struggling to find his way, showed me the frailty of authority, and the power of acceptance.
Now we fight. We stand up to those who seek to break us; but how much pain can we endure? Is our love and future worth the blood and bruises? How can life possibly spring from the ashes around us?
“It was a kiss I’d never felt before; it was the slow, gentle taste of a person who holds a piece of your heart, and whom you have greatly missed.”
Help us as we try to see the world around us for what it is, and find the love we know is in our broken hearts.

It has been a long time since I have read such a magnificent MM romance and I will admit that I could not put it down & found it an absolute pleasure to read until the last page was turned.
It is about: the trials & tribulations that two men (Archer, an alpha with devastating memories of a past event) & (Jeremiah, a determined omega trying to make something of his life) go through before they get the future they both deserve.
There is: a caring uncle (Paul aka Pap), a cold uncaring homophobic father (Gavin Phoenix), a good friend & beta (Eduardo aka Ed), naturally a baddie (Nathaniel Davis) various friends, law enforcement, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, danger, enemies, memories, fear, attractions, verbal banter, conflict, shock, arguments, discord, threats, attempted blackmail, assault, trauma, anger, conspiracy, betrayal, deceit, emotional feelings, despair, sadness, investigations, proof, crime, murder, confrontations, injuries, love, happiness, steamy scenes and a well-deserving HEA.
The characters are quite complex & well-developed with individual personalities and realistic with their emotional feelings, they react with varying emotions of wants, needs & desire. The plot is well-written & suspenseful with excellent emotional details & unexpected events – it definitely kept my attention until the last page is turned.
I really would recommend this excellent MM romance to people who enjoy reading this genre, I really doubt that you would be disappointed in this book.
This is a great story with really likable MCs. I liked the strength of Jeremiah’s character and that he didn’t want to settle for the traditional weak omega role, and also the strong, proud, caring Alpha, Archer. There is a hint of fated mates here, although the story is non-shifter, in that Archer thought he could evade the effects omegas have on alphas by just avoiding omegas…until he scented The One. There is plenty of angst, twists and turns, and steamy scenes in this emotional story, as well as a big surprise at the end. The dual epilogues by the main characters was nice, and not something I have seen any other author do.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary ARC.
Great plot and characters that kept my attention.
I found this book was hard to put down.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
He is an alpha who steer clear of all omegas as he has suffered too much already. That was until he smelt them and now he knew he was going to be in trouble. Can he stop himself hurting them? What will happen to them? See how they will get on

I enjoyed reading this M/M Mpreg story this was so good I couldn’t put it down until I finished it I will be reading more books from this author….. I voluntarily read an arc
When the very last sentence of the book brings out a slow smile, you know you have a winner.
The first chapter of the story is stripped down and almost seems like a different story altogether. We don’t know the players; we just get an emotional and charged moment. It’s a great juxtaposition to the rest of the story.
In this non-shifting Omegaverse, Alphas are overbearing and entitled and are known to prey on omegas. Archer, the Alpha MC, experienced something tragic in college and tries to make amends by essentially becoming a recluse and running his business as ethically as possible.
There is a little beauty and the beast going on here. Archer is a beast when stressed or angered. Jeremiah, the gorgeous, intelligent, Omega MC pushes past his defenses and they finally succumb to their natures. Now, they have to learn to like each other and deal with office politics.
I liked that Jeremiah is smart and wants to be an equal partner in all things to Archer. He’s proud and a little immature but that fits with his age. There are realistic office politics and the best friends, Ed and Amelia are fleshed out nicely. I especially liked Ed and even though he’s straight and a beta, I kinda want to see his story.
The editing is good, the writing is great and the storyline flows easily. It’s told in the first person and switches from Archer to Jeremiah so you get both points of view. The suspense during the last quarter of the book was killing me! I had to know what happened next. I was so invested in their lives, I finished the book in one sitting. Oh! And a nice bonus is that Jeremiah and Archer each have their own epilogue. Definitely a heartwarming HEA.

Archer Wallace is a recluse Wall Street mogul who runs his very modern company with his best friend Eduardo. He is an Alpha who stays away from omegas until Jeremiah Phoenix, a sweet but driven omega who wins his heart. But nothing is all flowers and roses in the throat cutting world of finances. There is denial, hot scenes, jealousy, sweet romance, backstabbing, violence and danger around their relationship. It seems like they will not get their HEA… Will they? I want to read Eduardo’s story next.
This is the first time I have ever read anything from this author. This is an enjoyable read with strong characters and a wonderful story line. This is a really good Mpreg type book and I am glad I read this story. I loved it to read.

5 out of 5 stars
I would like to qualify first that this is the only mpreg paranormal I have ever read. I had to look up on the internet what a beta, alpha & omega were. I normally only read contemporary romance. So with that said I loved this well written book. The characters were well developed and the story flowed smoothly. There is angst, laughter, suspense, great chemistry and sex along with a good story. Loved the fact there was a hea epilogue. I highly recommend if you are into mpreg.
