Cap is the continuation of Sebastian and Maggie’s story from the series For The Love Of A Good Woman and the second book in the Reed Security Series. The Reed Security Series must be read in order.“Well, I could try, but with my sciatica flaring up, I wouldn’t get very far. Besides, Harry knows exactly where to touch to get rid of the pain,” she winked at him.“Eww. I forgot how much I hated … winked at him.
“Eww. I forgot how much I hated hearing you two flirt.”
“If that fella of yours ever ties you down, you’ll be us someday; humping like rabbits on your neighbors bed when she’s out of town because you just can’t help yourself.” He pulled Aggie over onto his lap and did something under the table that I didn’t want to think about. She squealed and batted at his chest.
“Oh, Harry. You’re such a devil.”
I looked back at my room and shivered in disgust. “I slept in that bed last night.” They didn’t hear me as they continued to flirt with each other.
“Dear, when the urge strikes at our age, you take it. Sex is like snow; you never know how many inches you’re gonna get or how long it’s going to last.”
“That’s..sweet, Harry. I didn’t know you had it in you.”
“Just telling it like it is, girlie. Speaking of the urge striking, I think we’d better leave, Aggie, or Maggie is going to see a bit more than she wants to. This robe doesn’t conceal much.”
Cap
My attraction to Maggie has never been the problem. Her inability to ask for help and stick around long enough to receive it is. Maggie is the type of woman that every man wants. She’s independent, smart as a whip, sassy, and stunningly beautiful. But all those things don’t make a relationship work and if I can’t figure out how to keep her, I’ll have more to worry about than the arms dealer that’s trying to kill us.
Maggie
“I’ve been wondering for the last year where my relationship with Sebastian is going. I picked up and moved my whole life to be with him, but then we never talked about more. I don’t know how much more I can take of always feeling like I’m just the live-in girlfriend. When he suggests taking a break, it starts to sound like an awfully good idea, especially now that I don’t want him to find out my secret, one that I hope he never finds out. The problem is, Cap never gives up without a fight.

I should have read the first book, but I still enjoyed this part of Sebastian and Maggie’s story. They had some issues that kept them from staying together, and this is a bit of a second chance romance. Sebastian/Cap is a little old fashioned and wants to protect Maggie at all costs, and whatever it takes. Theirs is an intense romance, and is in line with the other books in this series. Another enjoyable read.
This the follow on from the book Sebastian in the ‘love of a good woman’ series and picks up with the continuing relationship between Sebastian and Maggie. Maggie still as reckless in her quest for the perfect story, and Cap is still trying to pick up the pieces behind her, but the question is can Maggie and Cap ever be happy forever? Another excellent funny and action packed story from Giulia Lagomarsino..
I am so excited to read this book. This was quite intense and page turning story engaging characters and a good storyline pulled me in fast moving enjoyable read.
Happy… Happy.. Happy but curious and nervous at the same time. Wanna know why? Because after reading the first book from this series I knew that this one would be intense. And I’m always eager for a new challenge.
Before I tell you a bit more about this book I must tell you something else. In order to understand this particular book you must read Sebastian first. Their stories started in this book and you need to know the beginning. But if you’re like me, I advise you to read For The Love of a Good Woman series first, then read Sinner, the first book in this series and then the new one. Trust me. Everything will make sense after that.
Cap is the second book from the Reed Security series and focus on the lifes of Cap aka Sebastian and Maggie.
Cap is the owner of Reed Security and is in love with Maggie. But love isn’t an easy going when the person you love is stubborn as hell.
Maggie uses to be a reporter but her love for Sebastian made her move her life to be near him but his temper, as well as hers, is damaging their relationship…
Let me just say that when I finished this book I was a mess. These two are quite the characters…
The plot is amazing, well written, super engaging, emotional and intense.
There were parts of the book that I wanted to slap someone… Jeez… These two are more stubborn than a mule… It was infuriating to see hear two battling each other but I wouldn’t change a thing.
I saw myself wanting to read non stop, and the way each chapter ended made it pretty impossible to stop…
I laughed, I cried, I cursed… But overall I loved every single word…
I didn’t knee it was possible to love these characters more but I really do…
Guilia..
What are you doing to me? Your writing is making me hostage and I’m looking forward to start the next book from this series…
I just loved this book. It was so well-written that it captured my mind and I was dragged along for the ride. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down until I read the last page.

Book two of Reed Security Romance series focuses on the continuation of Maggie and Sebastian’s story. So please read Sebastian first. These opposites are still one of my favorites. They decide to take a break in their relationship then can’t figure out how to get back. This is a very emotional book. One I definitely recommend

If you’re reading this review, let me first advise you this is the second part of Sebastian and Maggie’s story. Oh, you didn’t know? Yeah, the first part titled “Sebastian” is book 5 of “For The Love Of A Good Woman” series, so you’d do well to read it first to give you some background on this couple. It’s well worth your time. Giulia Lagomarsino will take you on an emotional rollercoaster with this couple’s tale. Not just through the storyline and plot (they definitely have a lot both individually and a couple to work through) but with their circle of friends as well. I’ll admit to emotions running high while reading this one they’re so relatable. Great book!
This book is the second book for Sebastian (Cap) and Freckle’s story. They are having some trouble in paradise, as he’s overbearing and slightly too controlling and she’s indecisive and not really satisfied with her former decision to change her profession in order to live closer to Cap. There’s a lot back and forth, and just when I start to get too annoyed or blame either of them for their inability to commit the scales tip in the other direction. This is a very well written story, that really captures the complexity of relationships. I love reading this series.

Continuation full of twists
It’s an excellent romantic thriller, very well written. I loved to find “Sebastian’s” two characters: Sebastian and Maggie. Their relationship intensified in two years, without evolving, with Sebastian who seeks to control everyone. But Maggie is still uncontrollable and although she has made efforts she can not stand this pressure and her lack of control over her life. She decides to take her life back. But the investigation started in the previous book (Sinner) becomes more and more dangerous and Maggie is again threatened when she must discover that her life changes despite of her. She must evolve and define what she really wants.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This was an intense book. As the continuation of Sebastian, it is an awesome story. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
Caveman Compromise that should have been the title of this book. Sebastian is the poster man for alpha neanderthals. He seems to be entrenched in 1940’s ideals about women and how life is supposed to be once you fall in love. Maggie is the complete opposite of the stay at home wife that is taking care of the kids and doing dishes. She loves the chase of the story and she refuses to give up all of her hopes and dreams to fit into the mold that Cap(Sebastian) has made for her. These polar opposite ideas causes the two of them to take a break from their relationship but during this time the poop hits the fan and it looks like they are done for good. Can Cap learn that if he really wants Maggie he must learn to make some compromises also? Can Maggie learn that making compromises does not mean she is giving up on her hopes and dreams just modifying them a little? Is there enough love between these two to overcome the incredible odds against them? Their journey to discovering what a feature together may hold is full of drama, suspense, humor, tears, sadness and joy. I really enjoyed this installment of the Reed Security Series. I felt it did a good job of presenting and addressing the emotions, thoughts and struggles that many women have to face in life at some point. I highly recommend this one and this series. This is the second book I have read in this series and both have been entertaining reads. I look forward to reading more in this series and what appears to be a related series in the future.

This book is about Sebastian (“Cap”) and the girl he loves, Maggie. Sebastian owns a security company and Maggie was an investigative reporter but came to work for him when they fell in love. Maggie really, really doesn’t want to give up her career, but Sebastian worries that she’s in too much danger and it leads to many arguments. Will they break up over it? And what if she gets pregnant? Which would be more important to Maggie, a baby or her career? There is a lot of personal drama in this book as Sebastian leads his company in their efforts to protect people, and then Maggie tries to find out if her parents’ death was really accidental. I highly recommend this book, and the others in the Reed Security Series to those who like some suspense with their romantic stories.

He’s still as sexy as when they first met, but, Maggie doesn’t see them any different to when they started dating, she needed more than to be the woman he loved, she needed to be the woman he couldn’t live without.
Maggie thought there would be more, maybe marriage, and she feels like a guest in his house, Sebastian see the problem, he wouldn’t give her more unless he did, and he wouldn’t give more unless she did.
When Maggie decided to leave she never thought that Cap would send a security team to watch her, Maggie needs time to work out what’s holding her back.
When Reed’s Security gets attacked and Maggie’s at threat she finds herself at a safehouse with everyone. Maggie tries to explain to Cap what she’s feeling, although he says he will support her she still feels he’s trying to control her decisions.
Returning from the Mission, it’s time for Maggie to go back to her life and even if she changes her mind that there’s no going back with Sebastian after what they’ve been through.
The day comes for Maggie to make her decision knowing that it will affect the rest of her life, knowing there still may be a chance that Sebastian won’t want her after, will she make the right decision.
