A NEW SINGLE DAD ROMCOM FROM THE AUTHOR OF LET’S GET TEXTUAL…“Hi Monty. Wanna see my python?” That’s how I ended up in the bathroom of some dive bar with a stranger.Me, Monty Andrews, the quintessential virgin girl next door.I was so out of my element, but there was no denying our explosive attraction, even via text.Commence Operation Bang Each Other Out of Our Systems, because that was all it … Bang Each Other Out of Our Systems, because that was all it was–unfinished business.
I had no intention of falling back into the sheets with the tattooed, muscly, dirty-in-the-best-kind-of-way single dad over and over again…but I did.
Everything was going great–until we discovered I was his son’s teacher.

Teagan Hunter has done it again. This might be my favorite of the Texting Series, which is saying a lot! Its a refreshing sweet, love story. Robbie is a swoon-worthy single dad and Monty is the perfect virgin girl next door. No angst, no misunderstandings…just an honest, hot, sweet, funny stranger-to lover romance story! And the spawn? If all kids were like him, I’d have 5 more. BONUS we get to catch up with Zach and Delia and the goats. #relationshipgoals. I loved this book and can’t wait to see what Teagan comes up with next!
Well, well, I didn’t think I could like this book more than the first two in this series, but I was wrong, Can’t Text This was my favorite one yet. I was so excited for Robbie’s book, and so curious how it would play out. It was laugh out loud funny, sweet, and sexy. I love RomCom’s, and I read a lot of them, Teagan can write the heck out of Romantic Comedy, not only that but she did such an excellent job of making opposites attract work. Sometimes it’s corny or a little too far-fetched, but Robbie and Monty just clicked. I love how they meet, how they connect and get to know each other and eventually become an item.
“Sometimes it feels like I know too much and nothing about you all at once.”
Teagan totally threw me in this book, I did not expect what happened to happen. I love little surprises like that.
Monty and Robbie have this cute flirty banter that you can’t help but love. I had a big smile on my face the entire time I was reading their dialogue via text. And another thing I really loved is that they just accepted each other for the person they were, Monty wasn’t freaked out that Robbie had a child, she went with it, and that was it. Robbie didn’t expect Monty to change because she was more on the straight and narrow he accepted her as she was.
“You’re that thing I never knew I wanted until I had it. You’re fun and adventure and temptation all wrapped into one, and I want to give in to you so badly.”
I highly recommend this book and the whole series for that matter. Go get them they are everything you could ask for in a RomCom and more!!
Format: Kindle Edition
This is the third book i’ve read by Teagan Hunter, the third in this interconnected series (Let’s Get Textual and I Wanna Text You Up), but absolutely my favorite of the three books. We met Robbie in the first book, but his turn in the spotlight brought plenty of smiles and laughter to my face; the chemistry between Robbie and Monty is perfectly balanced, sweet sometimes, snarky and plenty of dirty talk on Robbie’s side.
Best one yet!!!! If I could give this 100 stars I would! This made me laugh out loud so many times. There were so many funny one liners, and banter between Monty and Robbie! Goats, a rabbit and some crabs too. There was also pizza and tacos too! This is pure writing genius.
I absolutely loved the relationship that Robbie has with Zac and his girl. As well as the relationship that Monty has with her sister Denny.
Teagan is one of my favorite authors! I’ll read anything she writes and I’ll shout from the rooftop about it to anyone who will listen. I hope that our next text book is Denny’s book and that she will have her HEA.
This book! SHAM-WOW! I loved it! In a short period of time Teagan Hunter has become one of my favorite authors. I read the first book in this series and started to devour every book written by her.
This book is big on laughs and love and the author’s writing is unique and absolutely refreshing. All I hear about these days are alphas, dark reads, and what I call ‘super tropes’. This book (and the series) is like a breath of fresh air. The chemistry between the characters and the wit is amazing. Do yourself a favor and grab this book. I promise that you will love Robbie 🙂
Why isn’t there a rating higher than 5 stars? I always freaking love a good Teagan Hunter original and this story is definitely no exception! Ever since I met Robbie back in Let’s Get Textual I have wanted to get my hands on his story and let me just say that it was totally worth the wait. I seriously could not imagine anyone more perfect for him then the beautiful and quirky Monty Andrews. These two are a match made in text heaven.
Can’t Text This is a sweet, lovable, fun, sexy and all around entertaining standalone romantic comedy from the extraordinarily talented Teagan Hunter. I absolutely loved that Robbie finally got his happily ever after, one of which I have been hoping for since I met his character in Zach and Delia’s story. There was just so much to LOVE about this incredible storyline and I hardly wanted to put this book down. I found myself laughing even harder than I did with the last two standalone books in this same world. I even ended up laughing out loud when I was reading some of it in public.

Can’t Text This captured my attention from the very beginning and did not let it go! From Monty and Robbie’s bathroom adventure, to the LOL-worthy banter of their text messages, to the tension with her coworker, and their mutual struggle with the strength of their feelings – this book had everything I look for in a feel-good rom com! I loved Robbie and his fierce devotion to Xavie (and I absolutely adored Xavie and the relationship he and Robbie had), as well as his overwhelming sexiness and humor. I also really loved Monty – but I wish we had gotten a little bit more about her childhood and unconventional upbringing, as well as what led to she and her twin being so very different. Perhaps there’s a story featuring Denny in the future? I hope so! I can’t wait to read Let’s Get Textual and I Wanna Text You Up, and everything else that Teagan Hunter has written thus far and whatever else she blesses us with in the future. I can’t remember the last time I smiled this much while devouring a book and it’s an experience I hope to replicate soon. 5 out of 5 wine glasses.
4.5 Stars
After entering a book funk from my last angsty book, I needed some light-hearted fun, Teegan Hunter delivers light-hearted fun in spades in Can’t Text This!
I was so utterly charmed by this unlikely couple! Robbie “Python” and his little “prairie girl” couldn’t be more different if they tried but they find the other irresistible and so will you! What began as an unlikely but incredibly hot encounter in a bar leads to weeks of flirting via text. With witty banter, ridiculous nicknames, adorable spawn and even a baby goat or two, I couldn’t pry myself away from this book!! Teegan Hunter just went on my list of authors that can make me laugh no matter the day! Must read!

Teagan Hunter is a new author to me, why she has not crossed my radar before now is beyond me because Can’t Text This is up there amongst my top reads of 2018 and I really need to find time to read or listen to her other books. If you are looking for a book that has all the happy feels that will have you laughing hysterically you will want to one click this must read !!!!
Robbie and Monty May be opposites but they are perfect together they are adorable, hilariously funny, sweet , hot with sizzling chemistry and they share plenty of witty banter. Robbie a single dad with a bad boy image …he may be tattooed but he has a heart of gold and he is on a mission to bring Monty out of her shell but what will happen when he finds out she is sons first grade teacher……
I laughed til I cried and I fell in love with not only the characters but with also this author’s style of writing. Can’t Text This is romantic comedy at its best and I can’t wait to read more from the very talented Tegan Hunter.
Can’t Text This is a fun and lighthearted single dad rom-com which I absolutely enjoyed. I’ve read Teagan’s work before, but this was the first of her rom-coms that I’ve read and I loved Teagan’s sense of humor and her easy flowing writing style. Even though it contained characters from the previous “texting” books, it can be enjoyed as a standalone.
As mentioned by the title, there were lots of playful, naughty, sarcastic and witty texting between Monty and Robbie. I had so much fun reading their texting; at some points I was laughing so hard my kids were looking at me weird. Even though prudish Monty and tatted-up Robbie looked total opposite physically, they somehow worked well together. Robbie was a nerdy softie wrapped in a bad boy exterior who brought out the daring side of Monty. I love that they both push each other outside their comfort zone while their relationship and bond slowly grew. The supporting characters added lots of entertainment to the story too. Zach and Delia from the previous “texting” books were so funny and now I really want to go back to read their book.
I really enjoyed this quick and swoony rom-com. If you’re looking for a light and fun book to cheer you up on a rainy day, this book will definitely be it.
I received an advance reviewer copy of the book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
NO SPOILERS!
Can’t Text This was a fun, sexy, and entertaining standalone romantic comedy, and I really enjoyed it! The storyline and characters were great, and I really liked Teagan Hunter’s writing style and sense of humor. Robbie and Monty were wonderful, and I really enjoyed their personalities and chemistry together. I loved their playful, witty, and flirty banter with each other, and there was plenty of laughter throughout. Can’t Text This hasn’t been my favorite book from Teagan Hunter so far, but all of her standalone TEXT books have been a lot of fun to read, and I would definitely recommend Robbie and Monty’s story in Can’t Text This!
This is my first time reading Teagan Hunter, and I knew after just a few pages that I was going to love her sense of humor and writing style. As you may have guessed from the book’s title, there are a lot of text conversations between Monty and Robbie, and they are super entertaining to read and had me simultaneously laughing and smiling. Robbie is playful and endearingly naughty, and he helps to bring the more reserved and sheltered Monty out of her shell. Their attraction grows with every exchange, and their chemistry leaps off the page. They’re barreling down the road to happy-ever-after but tripped up when they discover that Monty is Robbie’s son’s first-grade teacher, which could cause their relationship to become complicated and they’d committed to keeping things light and fun. Can’t Text This is a fresh, ridiculously funny, completely engaging and fan-yourself-worthy hot romantic comedy in which a mischievous, charming single dad convinces a rule-following, elementary schoolteacher to take a walk on the wilder side.

I love reading books that leave a big ole smile on my face. I loved Robbie since the first book and I couldn’t wait for his book. Single dads are my jam and he is such a fantastic father. He’s hella sexy in dad mode. I also like that he and Xavier’s mom are friends and don’t hate each other. Monty and Robbie are amazing together, so much chemistry between them. The banter and the funny texts had me giggling. Robbie loves to push Monty out of her comfort zone even though she pretends to hate it. He’s not only good to her, he’s good for her. The 3 books in this series are not only funny but all of them are so entertaining. Like I said in the beginning, they leave me smiling from ear to ear.
Monty (Montana) is a sweet naive girl, she doesn’t cuss, she’s still holding her Vcard, and she doesn’t really drink. So a little night out before starting her new teaching job, see’s her behave in a way she never would!!
“Wanna See My Python?” The words that lead to her making out with a Hot Tattoo’d stranger in the toilets of a bar !! But omg what a night, she can’t get it out him out of her mind!! Robbie, single dad, can’t get this girl from the bar out of his mind, she’s definitely not his type.
I can honestly say that i absolutely loved everything about this book. Robbie and Monty together had me in fits of laughter, even though the underlying story is serious. This couple was just so real, their dialogue was just so natural, their sarky responses to each other, had me in cheering them on and giggling at the same time. Robbies dirty delicious sexy mouth even had me hot under the collar, and his little boy just stole my heart ! But what i loved most was that, even with all their banter it was so obviously filled with caring and emotion. They just met, connected, followed through getting to know each other and fell deeply in love, and even when life threw them some obstacles, they never give up !! Every minute of this book was a totally addictive read.
LOVED this book! It’s the best in the ‘Texting’ Series yet!! Monty & Robbie are just amazing! #TeamRobbie
Two things. One, Can’t Text This is hilarious. I couldn’t stop giggling. Two, Robbie and Monty are the cutest!! Oh my cats! I seriously loved it so much!!
This super cute, low drama, laugh out loud, feel good story is EVERYTHING I wanted. I didn’t the think it was possible to top Let’s Get Textual but this book has done the unthinkable. Can’t Text This is my new favorite Teagan Hunter book.
I love a good opposites attract and Robbie and Monty are as opposite as it gets. He’s a sexy, tattooed, single father. She’s a shy, sheltered, virginal school teacher. Together they’re magic. Their chemistry is on point. The story starts out with an intense and steamy encounter. From then on it was pure goodness. I could not get enough of the fun back and forth banter and flirty text messages. Using her fantastic humor, Teagan Hunter does a wonderful job making these characters very likable and entertaining.
Robbie is my star. I loved his relationship with his son. As well as the one with his best friend Zach. However, I will say, I do wish we had more of his backstory and more of his interactions with his son. But that’s just because I’m greedy and want more of a hero I completely fell for.
Whenever a book leaves me smiling like a weirdo, I know it’s won a permanent place in my heart. Can’t Text This is one of my top reads for the year and I cannot recommend it -or the two books before it- enough.
This book was so funny! This is my first look into this author’s “Texting” books, and I must say, I have certainly been missing out! This book was written well, and it made me laugh so much. I can’t wait to read the others in this series now!
Robbie is the kind of guy I would definitely fall for. He is tattooed, caring, and loves his son fiercely. He has a sense of humour and is such a joker. I swooned a little for him. The things he comes up with during texting had me in stitches. I just loved Robbie
Monty is such a quiet, straight laced kind of girl. Her upbringing never left room for her to live a life other than that her parents chose for her. She is finally living and Robbie is just the man to help her live her life to the fullest.
The banter between the couple was so good and I felt their chemistry in the words. The book has it’s funny side but also more serious sides, which helped me connect to the book on so many levels. The side characters were all so great as well. I loved the relationship between Robbie and Zach. Ms Hunter has done such a great job with this book! I highly recommend having a read.
I have been waiting since the first book, Let’s Get Textural, to read Robbie’s tale. He was Zach’s roommate, the single dad, which is a favorite trope of mine, so I was really excited on it’s release. It’s full of fun and humor.
In this series, the couples get to know each other better via texts, so it’s no surprise that Robbie and Monty do the same. After their initial meeting at a bar, they then converse by texting. I did feel this was a little long at the beginning and unnatural. I get that Monty was unsure, but at some point I feel they would of meet for coffee and donuts in a real world. Monty is busy setting up her class room for the next school year and Robbie is working with his bestie Zach. They run into each other again and things take off from there. Robbie has had way more experience than Monty, and the way he handled that, once he knew he was her first, was so sweet. Then they were doing it like rabbits or Thumbelina Bruce Wayne! Robbie has a dirty mouth that is so different from what Monty is used to, but she finds it very attractive.
Xavie is an adorable boy who is a lot more like his father in personality than looks. Delia and Zach make a few appearances throughout this book. At times I feel both Robbie and Zach regress in maturity to frat boys or teens but it could just be their nerdy quintessence shining through. This is a standalone novel but third in a series. You won’t lose anything by starting with this opposites attract rom-com but I do recommend you read the others as well.
Omg! Seriously, hilarious. The back and forth texting banter is so witty and light and just fun to follow along with. I really enjoyed getting to know these two characters through text in this way they were just so entertaining and over the top at times. But it was also easy to follow along with. Robbie and Monty, are so oppisit of one another yet they mesh so well and are so compatible and firey when they are together. Seeing their interactions in person was electrifyingly good! I could not get enough of them, plus I kind of loved the clips with Robbie as a father!
Also, I have to admit I LOVED the fact we also get to these little snipits of Diliah and Zach while reading. And seeing them again is so much fun!!
I really enjoy how well and easy it is Teagan Hunter’s books flow from ‘head space/Talking/texting’ and things don’t seem to get lost or confused in transit of it all. Everything is just easy and pleasent to go along with.
Can’t Text This is the most entertaining story that caused me to laugh alot, sigh and swoon too!
The author has written a story that will capture you into the web of texting, sizzling chemistry and banter that is so brilliant that you cannot help but fall in love with the characters and maybe the author for creating such an enticingly delicious story!
Where do I start with Robbie and Monty!! Robbie has such an air about him that I absolutely adored! He was caring, kind, sarcastic and just a bit naughty too! Monty grew up sheltered but really came into her own and Robbie really brought out the best in her and she him!
But when they discover something and need to make some decisions and it was a bit of a sad time, do they call it quits or decide just to go for it??!!
So much to love about this book! It was a breath of fresh air! This was the most enjoyable entertaining story and I cannot wait for what the author has in store for us next! Definite must read!
