He’s my professor. And I want him. Bad.I thought my college boyfriend and I were going to be together forever. But right before our senior year starts, he decides he “wants to see what else is out there.” With a shattered heart, I retreat to a local bar to ease the pain. Unexpectedly, though, my horrible day turns into a good one, thanks to a sweet and unbelievably hot stranger. And then this … stranger.
And then this awkwardness happens: I walk into my first day of class to find out that my new professor is the hot guy from the bar.
I try to ignore my forbidden longing for Professor Davis. But it’s useless. And I can’t drop the class—I need it to graduate. I don’t know how I’m going to survive this semester…
…or how much longer I can resist him.
CAN’T HAVE HIM is a fun, quick romance with steam, sweetness, and a happily-ever-after.

It’s just as advertised: quick, sweet, and steamy. What to do when the hot guy you met turns out to be your new professor? Olivia and James have to navigate the pitfalls of this. It was a fun read!
This is a short story about Olivia and James. They meet one night in a bar and realize there is a connection. What they find out come Monday morning, when Olivia begins her senior year in college, is that James is her professor, making a possible relationship taboo. Ms. Hunt handles this subject beautifully, with alternating points of view. Suffice it to say, I truly enjoyed this book and anxiously await the next.

A very steamy well-written story of an older man and younger woman forbidden romance. The characters have a good chemistry and a special connection. It was a bad day, she last her long time college boyfriend, then she meets him at the bar. He is her Professor and she tries to drop the class and ignore him. This can be a start of wonderful HEA or worst mistake. Read this story to find out

Quick student/teacher taboo romance. James and Olivia meet at a bar after her boyfriend breaks up with her. They exchange numbers and didn’t expect to see each other again so soon until the next day when she walks into her class and sees James. Great attraction and chemistry between them. This book is a great escape from what is going on right now in the world.

Can’t Have Him is a quick, fun read about a professor and his student who have one special night together before realizing that she is in his class. This is a short, well written story with believable characters and a great HEA.
This is Olivia and James story and it was super cute. Olivia just got dumped and she decides that she is going to the bar to drown her sorrows. Olivia meets James and they talk for awhile and end up exchanging phone numbers. Olivia walks into her college art history class, she meets Professor Davis or James as she knows him. Olivia and James have to fight their attraction to each other and James isn’t willing to cross that line. The chemistry between James and Olivia is hot and intense. Loved this book and there story.

Second chance with new love! This is a short and sweet book. This story is about Professor James and Student Olivia. Olivia has a bad break up and goes to drown her sorrows but ends up meeting James. Unfortunately for both, they didn’t know that they were attending the same school but one as a teacher and the other as a student. She thinks its best for her to drop the class but isn’t able to, so she has to stick it out. The story goes by and there are lies told to change the issue at hand but doesn’t work. Of course, Kate’s books always have a HEA, so this book is no different.

Class in restraint
Great story! Olivia has a truly bad day that leads her to a bar. There she meets James who truly listens to her. Thinking that she may have found a “good guy”, Olivia has a even worse morning when she finds that James is one of her professors. Maybe these two should give a class in restraint. Do they give in to their chemistry or do they stay strong until school’s out? I have read several stories by this author and this is definitely one of my favorites.

This was a taboo read were two strangers meet only to find out later that their attraction to one another can’t be sated because of their power dynamic. It’s a very quick read with a sweet story line.

This is a really a wonderful forbidden teacher/ student romance, James and Olivia meet one night at a bar after she got dumped by her boyfriend, they had an instant connection until she went to class the next day and James from the bar was her new professor. There is plenty of angst and emotion in this quick to read novella. No cheating, no cliffhangers and a delightful HEA.
Our heroine meets a hot guy in a bar, but the next day he turns out to be her new teacher. Can the two of them keep it together for the entire semester?
This is a short romance with a student/teacher theme. I am not going to spoil the plot, so all I can saw is that this one is different from previous stories of this ilk which I have read. I found the story to be well written and easy to read, with two likable characters in a tough situation. I really liked the twist in this one and look forward to reading more by this author.
Highly recommended.

I truly enjoyed this spin on the taboo teacher/student relationship. It was exciting seeing how Kate was going to work through the attraction. The characters were fun, enchanting, honest and relateable. The emotional insights were great too.
James was definately attracted to Olivia, but knew she was off limits. She knew the same. The difficulty was convincing their bodies. I felt for James when he discovered the one way to help Olivia focus on school, and not him. It helped her, but gutted him in the process. He knew he had to eventually be honest.
What happens when James reveals the truth? Will Olivia understand, or believe? Do they stand a chance? This was a very short book of Kate’s, but just as seller as her longer stories.

I really enjoyed this novella. It was short but sweet and had plenty of feels. James and Olivia are great characters and I liked that they had so much in common. I also liked that even though they met without realizing they had a connection that could be a problem, they managed to work through it. Loved the happy ever after. Definitely recommend. Must read!
